Hotel Alameda Centro Historico

The staff are always amazing, attentive, friendly, and professional, always willing to help.

I wish breakfast had more variety, with a wider selection and healthier choices.

Location

Sometimes our room had rotten egg smell, not sure why.

Fantastic location: in the middle of everything. Good views of the Centro and cathedral. Everything was generally clean and efficient. Great shower. Gentleman who helped us to the garage was wonderful. Parking was close, easy, and secure

The room was so stuffy and hot that it was hard to sleep. It purportedly had air conditioning, but it struggled and did not help. Interestingly the “Tempetatura Optima” on a plaque above the thermostat was 22 degrees but 25-26 degrees was the coolest it could achieve. Windows are fixed and cannot open to allow cool night air into the room. Extremely uncomfortable. Air conditioning was a main feature which led me to choose this hotel. If a stuffy room is an issue for you, I recommend you check your room quickly upon arrival and advise the hotel if there are issues.
