Nothing. The accommodation was totally unsuitable for 2 OAPs with limited mobility which we had made the George aware of prior to our arrival. Didn’t check in. The duty Manager was sympathetic to our plight.

Accessibility. No parking. Photograph misleading-George Street closed. Did not check in. Found alternative accommodation with the help of a very helpful local man.outside the George called Mark

Lovely big clean room, couldn’t fault it for what we paid

Booked for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. Great location. Room large, shower excellent, nice touch with bottled water, ample coffee, milk, sugar and extra's. Weatherspoons cheap for meals, drinks etc. Staff friendly and polite and dont need to check out until 11am which is great as we had been out late the previous night.

No parking, local parking nearby which has to be renewed at 08:00

The location was good for our needs and the room was clean and comfortable.

I was staying in a single room alone in an outer building that led straight out into an alley. My keycard didn’t work on multiple occasions for getting in/out. This made me feel quite unsafe and unnerved. The staff where helpful in letting me in/out but didn’t offer any apology for the situation and didn’t seem concerned with my concerns. My friends where luckily staying in the main building so could send people to help me when I got stuck. They also found dirty socks in their shower and had trouble using their keycard also.

Central Location, Good beer, food was of good quality and good portion sizes. Value for money.

The parking is all most with out doubt the most ridiculous system I have ever encountered. To qualify The George doesn't have any, and in farness its my fault for perhaps not checking. Its understandable that in an old town like Brecon parking is at a premium. On arrival you can pull up outside and drop bags but then you have to drive round the one way system to get to any of the pay car parks and there is one behind The George. To be clear I don't mind Paying. What's ridiculous is the towns stupidity to the situation. You can only park for a few hours. Its free over night, yippee!. But you have to get up every morning at 7.45 and physically walk to the car park and pay cash or card at the machine and then go back to it every 2hrs or at a further away car park I spotted was 4hrs. There is no app based system to allow using your phone to pre book or pay as you go. So you can't leave your car for the day without revisiting it once or twice a day. Ridiculous is an understatement. Of course the the hotel doesn't tell you that. Brecon Tourism /council is so far behind the times it begs the question do they want you there. I have been to many places with similar issues and hotels have had a parking vouchers that you can display in your car, you pay for it, but at least its a system that works. All I got was a bit of shoulder shrug well sorry mate that's the way it is. Again Ridiculous.
