Antony could not have been more helpful. Our flight was very delayed and we didn't arrived until midnight. Even so, Antony stayed up to greet us, to give us a map and lots of tips and ideas. The location is excellent and only a short walk through a lovely park into the city centre. The room had every convenience and more, including a Netflix subscription. It was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast delivered to our door at 8am was fresh and delicious.

Antony was a wonderful host who met whatever need was required. He gave great tips on where to see in the city and we appreciated the map with directions that he provided. The bed and shower was incredible, and the breakfast every morning was welcome. Coffee and tea always available. Just a magnificent place to stay.

We had to utmost pleasure to spend a week at Antony's extraordinary abode; so much so that it is hard to find the exact words to describe it's splendour -- this truly is an incomparable establishment. Firstly, this is a very accessible location, with it only being a taxi or tramway away from the airport, and from there the whole city is available at your doorstep due to its fabulous city-centre location. Everything you could ever desire from Bordeaux (and indeed its environs of Arcachon, St. Émilion etc. should your heart so desire!) is available to you on foot, or via tramway too for areas slightly off the beaten track. Despite this, however, its location is triumphed substantially only by the incredible services available without ever having to step foot out of La Belle Endormie. Antony is perhaps the best host one could ever desire; his kindness, helpfulness, joy and attentiveness was so welcome, and truly made the trip what it was. Each morning, a fabulous array of (fresh!) pastries, bread and butter, yoghurt, cheeses, orange juice and more is brought to your doorstep, a sufficient quantity of which is provided that we very rarely had to have lunch during the day -- saving a few quid for some nice dinner later on! Should, however, as was the case with us on some evenings, you return home and wish for a glass of wine, some houmous or spreads with crackers, some beer or crisps or just a bottle of Coke, all of that is also provided within the minibar and its surroundings at a reasonable rate -- minibars are something we usually avoid as their extortionate prices are unfortunate, but such is not the case at la Belle Endormie whatsoever, and thus we profited from same and enjoyed each and every one of the offerings! (There's not enough room here so continuing in the other section!).

(This is all positive, just didn't have enough room!) When off adventuring throughout the city, Antony continues with his excellence: the room is cleaned, tidied, bed made and anything else you may wish for is completed throughout the afternoon from 12 until 2; nothing was more lovely than returning back in the evening to a cosy and comfy room. Speaking of, the room was exceptionally spacious with a gorgeous tiled shower and bathroom. There are sockets all over the room, including on both sides of the bed, for charging devices. The bed is perhaps the comfiest we ever had, with handwashed linen and a plethora of pillows. Should you get too warm on some evenings, as is often the case in the sweltering Bordeaux sun, the air conditioning is very modern and almost instantly cools the room to our delight. There is not a single bad word to be said of this place. Antony and La Belle Endormie both represent hospitality perfection, and anybody who has the pleasure and fortune to frequent one of its rooms will never be disappointed (or hungry!).

The room was a great size and very clean. The facilities were fantastic including the hot tub. Antony was a great and friendly host, he gave us some great recommendations, was very accommodating with our luggage and the breakfast was delicious.

La Belle Endormie was such a beautiful little apartment well located next to the Public garden and a short walk from the main center of Bordeaux. We were able to park on the street close to the apartment and Antony helped us to pay for the parking so we could park for the whole day. Breakfast was perfect a selection of fresh bread, cheese, jam and juice delivered to the room each morning with fresh fruits and coffee available in the room itself. Antony was a great host who made us feel very welcome and helped to guide us during our stay. The apartment itself is small but comfortable and so beautifully decorated. we will absolutely stay again when we return to Bordeaux, which we must because there is so much to see and do.
