Everything was amazing, the hosts treated us as part of their family, they helped with renting a car, with recommendations for all our trips, the beach is just next to the villas, the pool was always clean and the food was amazing. Getting to other cities is quite easy by bus and Gerani offers many great places as well. The hosts randomly celebrated my birthday and we basically felt at the end of this trip that we have a new whole Cretan family to visit each year from now on.

Stavros is a family-run place filled with joy and happiness. Owners and staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. George became our friend. Place is at the beach, very private and secluded, clean and carefully maintained with nice plants and palms. We had a big apartment with two bathrooms. We went with three kids, 21, 14 and 9, they all had a good time. It is good to be positioned here if you want to visit the best beaches: Elafonissi, Balos and Falasarna and of course, you need a car. People at Stavros can help you with all the things you need. We highly recommend this place for relaxing family vacation. We would like to come back.

The kindness of the hosts was outstanding. From the very first moment we experienced the feeling of being welcomed like in a family, especially George was always there to satisfy all our needs. Absolutely to be recommended.

The perfect setting for a relaxed holiday on the beach. Villas are clean and comfortable, cleaning service every day. The generous sized pool, restaurant / bar and beach is in hands reach of the rooms. The taverna restaurant looks onto the beach, which has a great menu, including the continental breakfast, refreshments and delicious traditional home made food available at any time. Supermarket and local restaurants within walking distance - you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Wonderful staff and family, they were always helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The location was lovely.

- After a small initial (mis)comunication issue about toilet not working, the owner called the technician straight away and all was fixed within 20min, amazing service! - staff was very nice and would ask us every time how we are doing and have a nice chat. - literally few meters from an OK beach (we never swam as it was windy and way too many waves) - the are is quiet and there are not too big hotels around to destroy the landscape :) - coffeee was delicious and always enough for two - pool was great and there were enough things to play with like boards and enflatable matrasses

- Breakfast was literally the same every single day (just added from time to time the spinash salty cake or Pancakes), few slices of the same cheap ham and cheese, 4 slices of tomatoes, few pieces of cucumber and few olives, although these as the only Greek thing in the place werent always there. Last day we could have had breakfast to go as we would leave beforehand but we gave up on the ham slices, better to grab something oursekves on the way and diversify a bit. - none, literally none (at least from Greek guests as I think a couple of Germans did) took a shower before entering the pool beside many signs about it and personal watching the pool constantly. - A/C is a joke and takes hours to chill a bit the room (which is when you are going to sleep therefore useless for us). - the kitchen is also quite a joke. You can maybe cook boiled eggs with one stoves and two small pots. - Pillows gave us ache everywhere on the back, very hard to sleep on. - cleaning personal left the door open (literally open!!) with few hundreds of euros worth of stuff from us inside. Same happened to our neighbours...

Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and drinks. Breakfast by the sea was beautiful. Very good value for money.

Very nice staff, always ready to help you and making sure you're having a great stay. Excellent location, you can swim in the sea and enjoy the nice pool. Close to Chania but more relaxed. Good clean rooms. Very extensive breakfast

We had a great stay at Stavros Apartments! It’s located directly on the long sandy beach, in peaceful area but not far from supermarket, bars and restaurants in Gerani. Apartments are clean, spacious and well equipped. There were two separate beds for kids, and a big double bed for us. And two bathrooms! Cleaning service came every day to change towels and bedsheets. We were positively surprised by the quality of breakfast (much more than continental) and that beach towels were provided as well. Service was excellent, friendly and willing to help, and food at Stavros Taverna was delicious. Will definitely come back!

we spent great time in Stavros Villas, everything was perfect, it is nice and quiet place to relax.

Very good location, the room was very clean, they cleaned everyday, the dinner was delicious, many options every night, the staff is very kind and friendly, the garden is beautiful, very nice pool. I recommend it.

We absolutely loved our holiday, almost no people on the beach. We really appreciated welcoming and easy going hosts. It is good strategic spot for trips to Balos, Elafonisi, Samaria Gorge and Chania.

This place amazed us! Sound of waves, breakfast almost on the beach. Lovely hosts, very helpful and caring. The apartment was very clean and there were everything we needed. Hotel provides towels for the bathroom and also for the beach, which is very convenient. On the beach you are almost alone. It is a quiet, you can really relax. It is also a great place to stay if you plan to visit some sights or beaches e.g. Elafonisi or Balos. Journey from airport will take you approx. 30 minutes. I would 100 % recommend!

Total rip off, good that we left early.

The family run business is a very nice place to stay. They really look after you and your well being. That is something you won’t have in the hotel/apartments along the beach to Chania I could imagine. Regarding the apartments they could be a little bit more modern, but here I want to mention the price performance ratio. And for that they are good. The beds are very comfortable and you have a small kitchen included (which we didn’t use) We had the breakfast included, and I would recommend to do that also for your booking. The breakfast has got a few standard things and is expanded with a lot of different things each day. Always a surprise and every morning a „wow“-effect. It is more than enough to start your day, we usually just needed a snack at 2-3pm before we had dinner between 7-9pm. I will certainly book this place again when I return to Crete. Thank you so much again making this trip so nice for us and taking so much care of us aswell!
