The bed was so comfortable, the room was really spacious and the view was really nice from the balcony. The bathroom looked re-done - the rainforest shower head was lovely, and the touch bathroom mirror was also a nice touch! Loved that there were tea bags, coffee and hot choc powder in the room too! Location was great, around 7 minute walk into town. It is uphill, but it wasn't a problem.

Thought the music would go down by the pub's closing time, but it was still a little loud but expected as it is a pub!

The room was immaculate, clean, comfortable. Nice hand soap, shampoo and body wash were provided. Tea and coffee provided. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Guest only access to the rooms meant we could come and go as we liked. Very nice, would stay again.

Dripping gutters outside the window was a bit distracting through the night.

Breakfast is not served but i would recommend Town Mill Bakery

The pub is at the top of a steep hill. I am 70 and was out of breath when i arrived so elderly or people with mobility issues made need to think about this.

I knew at booking that the hotel was probably more a pub experience and that's what I got. So in that respect it met my expectations.

Slight walk up the hill from the beach. No car parking. Room was small.
