Someone from the room cleaning just took away the bottles which I put on the shelf (FAR AWAY FROM THE TRASH CAN). But, at the same time, the real rubbish on the same shelf were still there when I back to the room. FEEL REALLY BAD! Everyone in Norway knows the bottles were paid and could be paid back after recycled. Approximately 6-7 empty bottles were missing! The amount is NOT BIG, but still let me feel not good:(

The room is quite big and bathroom very suitable for two people. The breakfast is fabulous! The staff is also very kind :)

We loved the breakfast! There was so much variety and so many quality ingredients, and we actually said "This is one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had.". The location was quiet! It's a bit further out than central Oslo, but that was our intention, as we wanted a place with good parking facilities so that we could easily park the car and get an early start for our long drive the next day. Staff was also very accommodating.

The location is a little bit out of the way; we had a car so we were fine, but if you're relying solely on public transportation, you might have a harder time. And if you're looking for an exciting neighborhood with lots of things with walking distance, you may also find the neighborhood a bit too quiet.

All staff I was in contact was pleasant, helpful, and a pleasure to work with, probably the best part of my stay. Check in and check out was prompt and courteous. Breakfast, except the quality of bread, was far above average with lots of choices, including for restricted diets and vegetarians. Special requests, such as an omelette cooked in butter, and fresh-made hot breakfast chocolate instead of over-sugary Nesquick, were cheerfully done when requested. The sleeping room was very clean and kept that way during the 3-night stay. The room's window could be opened a bit for fresh air. WiFi was open and fast.

Access by car is very difficult: there is nowhere legal on the street for unloading, and the public entrance faces into a pedestrian courtyard (across from the Sumo Restaurant), The adjoining public garage behind the hotel is for pay only and no grace period, not even a single minute (minimum 10 kr). The color scheme in rooms and public areas is NOT restful, with overly intense pastels and black ceilings (the favorite colors of the owner's wife, we were told). The bathroom door was hinged to open into the entry door rather than the rest of the room. The overhead light above the bed glared and was too bright, and the bathroom light was as bright as a hospital operating room, which is great in the morning but not restful during a night visit. A night light or dimmable light would have been very welcome. Towels were a bit thin for a hotel of this good quality. Juice glasses at breakfast were the tiniest I have ever seen, hardly enough for a single sip. (I got a beer glass from the restaurant's bar and used it for juice.) There is no business center or area: you have to use the lobby seating,
