Relaxing stay, rental has all that vacationers would need and more!

This vacation home has everything you need .We did not want for anything. We have never stayed in a rental with so many amenities. The furnishings are beautiful and the whole house was spotless. The beach town is so peaceful and relaxing. We have been coming to this area for over 60 years and we love it !

This place is perfect. So perfect I've booked it several times. Inside- the beds, linens and towels are all top notch. The kitchen has everything. Great new dishwasher and knives this year. Closet full of cards and games for rainy days. The garage is full of beach chairs, kayaks, bikes, floats, anything you may want for getting out and breathing in the salt air. It's the views outside that keep me coming back. The back deck is perfect for catching the sunrise, grilling, reading, jumping in the hot tub, etc. The beach is just over the dune and is usually very quiet with just a few people walking or playing with their dogs. The sunset from the street facing deck is just as lovely to end the day. Neighborhood is nice and quiet. Milford has some great restaurants, as does Milton next door. And Lewes and Rehoboth are an easy drive for their options too. We'll be back soon!

The house and the amenities were excellent. Glenn really does go above and beyond to be sure guests have everything they need and more. We really appreciate that he allows pets. Maggie had a great time on the beach and chilling on the beautiful deck. The house was immaculate. Everyone had a great time and the weather was perfect. This is a gem in Slaughter Beach. Peaceful perfection. What a beautiful rental. Decorated and stocked, as though you were simply borrowing a friend's home...a very clean, and classy friend at that! Owners like Glenn are what makes vrbo a success. What a nice man to work with....responsive, polite and kind. Thank you Glenmore cottage, I hope to return.

First - the home is very well equipped with anything you could possibly need and more. Two crock pots, a Belgian waffle maker and dishes for all. Generous supply of detergent, toilet paper, foil, etc. Tons of extra pillows and blankets. I could go on and on. I brought binoculars - no need there are two already there! The home is nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable and IMMACULATE! . Second - the location. It's a very quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. There are no local gas stations/convenience stores so you have to travel 20 minutes to Milford for breakfast, groceries, etc. The beach is long for walking and sandy at the top. At low tide it turns rocky and a bit muddy. If you bring your muckers you can venture out to look for sea glass. The horseshoe crabs were washed up alot and we tried to save as many as possbile. Without a breeze the flies bite-bring bug spray. We enjoyed the Dupont Nature Center where we learned all about the history of Delaware Bay and the horseshoe crab. We took day trips to Rehoboth Beach and boardwalk; Jungle Jim's Waterpark and Cape Henlopen State Park. The park has a beautiful beach, food, bike paths and history galore! The grandkids 12-13 loved the waves at these beaches. In summary - we had a great time. I loved waking up to see the sunrise over the water each morning. This was our family's second trip to DE staying at Glenmor and we had another great time. The house is always clean and has everything you need. We loved bringing the dogs on the beach, using the Kayaks and enjoying the deck / hot tub. We also found some new places to eat. Will definitely go back again in the future and highly recommend for families.

Stayed for a weekend, very well appointed and clean. Hot tub on the deck overlooking the dunes and water is awesome. Easy process and communication.

We had a wonderful time. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. This is my second time staying there and I have already booked it for 5 days next May. The only negative thing that I could say it there were many annoying flies. There is not much you can Si about that.

We are always so glad to come back here, and are looking forward to next year! We find something new every year it seems, looking forward to trying the corn hole boards next time!

This is our 2nd stay at Glenmor. A few qualifications about us might help the effectiveness of this review. We are very experienced with VRBO rentals (20+ years) .We’re birders & foodies. We always cook & eat at least 2 meals in our rentals every day, so a good kitchen and proximity to wild lands are very important to us. We rarely do repeat-rentals because we rarely cover the same ground in our travels. Glenmor is an exceptional house in almost every sense. It is the benchmark in our experience with VRBO’s. So many details are thoughtfully arranged and conveniently placed that you almost feel like someone is there waiting on you. When we walked in, there were fresh flowers in a vase and the dining-room table is so beautifully set that it makes you feel as if you are expected. The deck is a standout feature with a big table and sweeping views of the bay. It is 50 steps from the deck to the dunes, where we saw large numbers of multiple species of shorebirds. The beds are superlatively comfortable and the entire house is immaculate. There is a nice walk-in shower in the upstairs bathroom and the bathrooms are even cleaner than immaculate (if that’s possible). Business dealings with the owner are perfectly straightforward and transparent. The kitchen deserves special notice. The owner is obviously a cook. There is a generous complement of spices, cooking-oils, & basics (flour, sugar) on hand. The layout is logical and efficient, and everything works. Highly recommend this place

Unfortunately I fell ill after a trip and was unable to stay for our Memorial Day weekend that we had been waiting over a year to enjoy. Our friends were able to go without us and enjoy the property, so not a total wash. This would have been our second stay at a lovely and comfortable vacation home.

We absolutely loved our stay at Glenmore Cottage. The house was spacious and very tastefully decorated. The location was stunning. We enjoyed beach combing and relaxing on the large deck. Already booked a return trip for next year.

Glenn's property was probably the nicest one my husband and I have ever rented through VRBO. It was stocked with every possible amenity and was beautifully decorated. The views from the hot tub and inside the house were amazing! I understand now why it is so hard to find available bookings for this home.

I have stayed at many VRBO rentals but, the communication and helpfulness regarding this rental surpassed them all. The host of this rental is fantastic to work with. We accidentally left something behind and with zero hassle being involved the owner had it sent to us. The rental is clean and has everything you could possibly need. An extra bonus is the sunrises. Definitely worth waking up early for. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an awesome rental!

2nd time here, love it. Property has everything, you truly need & more. I can leave my crockpot at home. For March time, didnt see anyone on the beach. Deck out back is fantastic, if its too windy, balcony out front is another option. I have stayed other places, but will also like this to be my 1st option. Thanks Glenn! Everything you need!

This is our second spring break at Glenmore Cottage and our time was as amazing as the first. The house is all people say it is, and more. Clean and well stocked, no other property compares to Glenmore. We have already booked another stay! Thank you, Glenn!

Beautiful beach home right on the ocean basically. Very well designed and filled with anything you need to have a quiet getaway! Hot tub, bikes, games, full kitchen, walk to the beach... loved it! Wish the check out was later than 10am!

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! Plenty roomy for 4 adults, comfy beds, nice finishes and amenities, and beautiful view. Loved the hot tub and the easy access to the beach. Can't wait til we can come back!

This was an amazing property. We went for a quiet winter weekend on the shore and got exactly that. The house was absolutely immaculate, incredibly well stocked and very comfortable. We got a long weekend of long walks on a quiet beach, long soaks in a very clean and roomy hot tub, days of games in a cozy house and romantic evenings by the beautiful indoor fireplace. We cannot wait to return next winter!
