Lovely 2 bedroom cottage just perfect for the two of us and the dog. Easy access to town and the beach. The beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. A great place to stay.

I stay in Crescent City a couple times a year for work and this place was the best rental I've stayed in. Nice neighborhood, you can hear the ocean at night but otherwise very quiet. Both beds were comfortable, the house was very clean. The backyard was absoutely perfect to sit in and enjoy a book in the sunshine. Would love to stay here again!

This is a smoker house. It smells like vanilla Febreeze mixed with an ashtray. Why can’t people just smoke outside? The binder at the house says it’s $250 fine if you smoke in the house. We all felt sick from the smell, and feel like we deserve the $250 for enduring it.

We loved the “Whale Watch” it was a perfect little house for our family for a few days. Crescent city has such a laid back feel and getting to have an entire house to ourselves with little ones made it better all around! Can’t wait to come back and visit! Also Sandy is amazing!! Can’t thank her enough for her quick responses!

We loved staying at this house in crescent beach for our redwoods trip. It was well positioned to be a base camp as we explored beaches and redwoods for a week. It's just a minute walk to see Pebble Beach and is a short drive to other great beaches and the redwoods parks.

Loved our stay in Crescent City. House was literally a stones throw from the ocean. Home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely book the Whale Watch Cottage when in the area again!

The house was very clean, very comfortable and very cozy. The backyard was very lovely with a very comfortable back porch. My stay was quiet and very enjoyable. The kitchen was really well equipped. That was a bonus for me as I had my two grandsons there every evening for dinner along with my son. I would love to stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

The house was very clean and comfortable! The bed was wonderful. We were happy the backyard is totally fenced for a dog which pictures don’t show. At first we couldn’t find the pots and pans- they were hanging from a rack on the ceiling. No view of ocean but walk half a block and you’re there.

Just completed a long stay at the whale watch cottage and it truly is a relaxing home away from our home in the desert. It is clean, comfortable and in a quiet area just a half block from the ocean. Enjoyed many long walks along the very scenic coastline.. fenced back yard is a big plus for the pup and there is a fire pit, bbq and nice patio out back with a peekaboo ocean view. The kitchen was well appointed and the master bed is very comfortable. The other bedroom has a Murphy bed but we did not use it so I can’t comment on that. Property management is nice and responsive. We recommend this place

Waited in driveway for over an hour trying to contact manager for entry code. Called VRBO and they could not get manager either. After reading reviews, I see it's not the only time.
Good first: Nice washer/ dryer and backyard.
Bad: First entered the house to old cigarette smoke and musty smell, it was present every time after coming back to the house. The place needs a good cleaning, dirt and dust on and under beds, tables, food and trash under couch cushions. Tiny ants throughout kitchen and bathroom. Just felt itchy and a little sick after our stay. We had to wash all clothes before leaving, removed from dryer straight to car.
