It was well maintained and was well stocked with everything we needed. In particular the kitchen had as many gadgets and tools that we have at home. We golfed two mornings and also visited local sites. The charming downtown was steps away, too! We hope to come back--it was the perfect little getaway!

Quality property in Avila. Responsive management as well - the washing machine did not work and, while repairs were quickly underway, the management team took our laundry offsite, washed it, and returned it folded neatly. We will be back!

We enjoyed the use of the kitchen, BBQ and played cards on the upper deck. In the morning we'd wake up and take the 1 minute walk down to Kraken Coffee which was excellent. Our host Terri was excellent and extremely responsive. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We were there for spring break and for our son to tour Cal Poly. The property was just as advertised. It was a great location and in good shape. The property management was easy to reach and communicate with. The washer wasn’t working, and we had packed just enough to wash during our stay. This was inconvenient but they did offer to wash for us and did a good job. We would definitely rent this property again!

It was the perfect relaxing vacation, just a block from the kid friendly beach and close to restaurants and an excellent coffee shop. Avila Beach is in close proximity to several attractions for children and we took advantage of These offerings.

The condo is clean and well equipped and included paper & kitchen supplies which is something you don't always see at other properties. The only downside was the beds, they are very soft and we unfortunately would not return for this very reason. I think the mattresses are due an upgrade! Sleep is so important especially when you are on vacation!

Had a wonderful time. The house is fantastic. I wish the TV had regular cable streaming was a pain. Also would be awesome to have had a key to the front door. It’s really expensive, I would stay more if it wasn’t so expensive but overall loved it all!!!

The only thing I would add, we have two members of our family who have fear of heights and since this is a unit on the outside, the staircase if very open. they couldn't make it to the roof deck. Just a warning for those with serious fear of heights. but we didn't need it, views great from small deck and living room

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house is excellent and the views from the top floor are amazing. House was well-stocked for all our needs. But, we found that the control of the lights was not simple. One of the downstairs lights could only be turned off from upstairs. It is a very sophisticated lighting system. It took six days for the lighting issues to be repaired. The owner was involved with this problem, which was very appreciated. Unfortunately, a couple of plumbing issues with the downstairs bathroom never got repaired. The sink drain was very slow, and the tub/shower lever that controls the water temperature of the shower fell off, and the water temperature was very difficult to regulate. The drain stopper in the upstairs bath hand sink did not work and was not repaired. The exhaust fan in the upstairs bath did not work and it also was never repaired. The vanity lights didn't work upon arrival, however, the owner herself replaced the light bulbs at the end of the first week. All of these issues were mentioned on the repair document we completed on the first day of our arrival.

This was a great rental with amazing views and perfect location as it was walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. We look forward to returning.

Outstanding beach home. Park two cars in garage & never a need to leave. A block from Avila beach. Perfect beach to relax on & body surfing opportunities abound. The roof top view at sunset is spectacular. BBQ’d every night and enjoyed the views. Truly a special place.

I felt pressured by the notice to report any deficiencies immediately and the labels in every cabinet and drawer with the number of plates, glasses, utensils, etc. Almost every count was short so i spent 30 mins counting and documenting the shortages. Many of the missing items turned up in different drawers vs where the labels were. I called to report it as well as stains and damage - nothing serious - and they said they were aware and don't worry about it. If I don't need to worry about it, why label it all and send the email warning about reporting anything wrong immediately?

I sent a couple of emails about issues including one about a lost AirPod and received no response from the management company so don't expect them to respond to emails.

The unit was well furnished and quite comfortable with a great rooftop deck with views of the ocean. The location was great although a bit noisy with all the traffic around. It was very nice to be a block from the beach and hear the waves at night. And great to be a short walk to a general store, restaurants, coffee shop, .... You really don't ever need to get in your car.

The unit has a great Marantz receiver with surround sound but no instructions on how to use it so I assume the owner does not want renters to use it. And I was suprised that such a high end unit did not have a Bluray player or even a DVD player. I brought some films to watch so I was disappointed.

I would definitely stay here again and bring one of my Blu-ray players.
