Exceptional in every way!

The property was gorgeous and in an amazing area. Right next to central station and Darlinghurst but in a quieter and beautiful area. The space itself is so nice with a complimentary espresso ma hike and pastries in the morning. Friendly and accommodating staff.

The lift was broken at the time of staying but the staff delivered our luggage up to our room with no hesitation. No complaints here!

The hotel was nicely decorated and the room was clean and well appointed.

The rooms are falsely advertised. I specifically booked this room for the larger size (clearly advertised as 30m2). The room was nothing like that size, probably closer to 20m2. I asked the staff about this and was told I should look at the pictures and not the words in the advertisement. He said he was not good with numbers but that the hotel was an old convent which has been converted to a hotel and therefore the size was not relevant, we should only look at the pictures. This was disappointing as it was the main reason I booked this hotel. He offered us another room which was even smaller and a lesser category of room. At the last minute, with only 15 hours of our stay remaining he offered to show us another room which we declined as it made no sense to move at that late stage in the trip. In addition, the lift was not working so my requested higher/quiet floor could not be accommodated. Instead our room was adjacent to the main gate and door to the hotel which meant we heard people arriving and leaving early in the morning and late at night. There is no actual bar. The bar is basically a self-service bottle shop at bar prices. There is absolutely no service. The roof top area (which is presented in the marketing for this property) was not accessible due to the lift being out, but offers no amenity as it is just a small sitting area.
