The standard of this hotel has dropped dramatically. Do not expect any luxe or a 4 star hotel although you pay the price WiFi is terrible

the whole hotel needs a refiurb and they need to get their WiFi sorted

As any other Taj property. Well trained staffed. Soft spoken managers and efficient services. Over all a very comfortable stay.

The hotel has a great view of the sea and nice sunsets from the beautiful balcony, pool, and almost all of the seven rooms we booked for 3 nights. My family liked the one-man band playing very good nostalgic English music and a very good buffet for the gala Christmas Eve dinner party. The pool is well maintained. The daily buffet breakfast was great the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. We went out for dinner to the Varkala cliffs and other good dinner venues because we wanted to taste the variety of foods that were being offered with live music. at much lower prices.

There was no direct entrance to the beach from the propery.,and it being old property there was no lift and it was difficult to get around with many steps to climb. even though they have a handicap ramp and offered my 94-year-old mother a wheelchair and assistance.

Best resort with excellent facilities like great pool, great staff. Front office staff were helpful and accommodating. Pool maintenance is excellent especially Mr Babu made sure we were all safe and provided suggestions on how to make our trip plan better.

Dinner was not good, but breakfast buffet was good. Delay in room service for dinner coupled with not so good tasting food.

Leider verleihen sie keine Badetücher für die Beach. Das sollte unbedingt verbessert werden. Sie können ja ein Depot verlangen.

A total scam and disappointment. They charge premium prices for a low cost experience. The worst luxury hotel we have ever stayed at, and we have been to 50 countries… Here is everything that went wrong during our 2-night stay. - The property is old and not maintained - No electricity in the room one evening - Phone not working - Reception woke me up at 8:45am to ask for my phone number?!! - Disaster of NYE show (dangerously high volume, bright lighting in the face, cold food, table not ready, never took our drinks order, forgot our drinks order, gave us a broken glass, no spoons and plates at the buffet, waitress didn’t know how to open beer, DJ who cannot sync music properly…) - Booked garden facing room but got a wall facing room instead - Garden and flowers not maintained - Breakfast: waiter forgot orders or got it wrong - No double lock in the room - TV not working - Menu QR code not working in the room - Wifi too slow - No hot water - Street dog roaming in the corridors - Rooms are not decorated and have no charm - location: too far from north cliff. Have to use a tuk tuk to get there
