The room was very small and the bed sheets smelt musty. The staff were unhelpful and one member of staff Ahmed I found to be rude and unprofessional towards me. My last hotel in Osaka had arranged for an item I had forgotten in a hotel in Kyoto to be posted to the Koko hotel in Tokyo. I hadn’t asked my Osaka hotel to do this as I was going to take a train from Osaka to Kyoto to collect the item before going to Tokyo. My Osaka hotel who were incredibly helpful told me to give the Koko hotel in Tokyo 2000 yen on arrival to pay the postage and they would give me change once the item was received. Ahmed on front desk on Koko hotel served me and I asked if he could give me a receipt or piece of paper showing that I had paid for the postage so when I came back to front desk and if there was a different member of staff it’s clear I had paid for the postage. Ahmed initially said he couldn’t provide a receipt to paper to say I had paid the 2000 yen and informed me in front of other guests loudly that he was doing me a favour by receiving the post, he would never receive post again for another customer and spoke over me loudly and I found him condescending. He eventually gave me a piece of paper detailing the 2000 yen I paid and told me the as he gave me this paper I had to make sure he got it back, for what reason I don’t know. The next day when I asked another reception staff if my post had arrived they had no idea what I was taking about and waved their hands as if I was in the wrong hotel. I showed them Ahmed’s piece of paper and then they went and got my post. When I went up to my room I had a note from Ahmed that my post arrived and I should collect change. I went back to reception and showed staff that when they gave me the item I should have received change and they then gave it to me. It all felt like an unnecessarily difficult experience with unpleasant interactions with staff.

Locatie was goed. Voor een rondreis Japan was dit een goede eerste hotel om in te verblijven.

Was weinig info over wat er te doen was in de omgeving hier had ik wat meer van verwacht. Beetje gesprek van wat komen jullie doen en heb je hieraan gedacht.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Hotel is conveniently located within a few minutes walking distance from the subway station. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

少しだけですが、部屋内の掃除が…ん？と感じる場所がチラホラとありました

Internet was fast, location was great (Uber Eats delivered fast and there was also Lawson nearby), easy to find, staff was friendly and went up-and-beyond with our questions (helped us translate texts and printed us some tickets when we needed).

Toilet-paper was almost as thin as air, if I have to have any complaints.

My parents wanna change a room because the bed's size is too small. But we cannot change because it will cost too much. I don't know why. The other room is two beds room, very suitable and comfortable and cheaper. So weird.
