Host was very slow to respond

The checkin was bad. We made the reservation via booking and they didnt have it in their records. This caused a long wait till the checkin (1 hour!). On the checkout they were rushing us before checkout time.

Half board option with buffet breakfast with marvelous dishes in taste and presentation and delicious dinner in all the restaurants. Spatious rooms, plenty of space on the domain including the beach. A bonus is a heated pool for cooler days. You have included a lot of activities like cycling, and light water sports. People around were always smiling and they were very helpfull in the customer department. You get a personal assistant who solves all your issues. We have to thank to Nisha and Hannah for the dedication, commitment and joy in making us a holiday of our dreams.

If you buy the HB option pay attention that you are not allowed to use this plan in all the restaurants unless you cancel the plan for certain dinners, you get a voucher that is in value much less than the average payment for one dinner resulting from your HB plan.

The resort is superbly designed, with incredible gardens, spaces and villas. Rooms are like in the pictures, spacios and beautiful furnished. Staff is always helpful and friendly and the service was excellent. There are a lot of employees always doing good work to maintain the resort in it's spotless state. Food is excellent with various restaurants to have the dinner. Sharmine we thank you for organizing our stay and for the lovely surprise of the candle light dinner on the beach. That experience was incredible.

Tasteful and elegant property with staff that prioritized client wellbeing and satisfaction. We had a lovely time and there was so much to take advantage of at the property - complementary sauna/hammam/spa, yoga, bike riding, daily excursions and activities, rum tastings. We ate at three of the twelve restaurants and had delicious and varied meals nightly; the breakfast buffet in the main hall was also fabulous and very reasonably priced. We loved everything about our stay and highly recommend.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, location is perfect, and cherry on top - the staff is incredible. A big thank you to Melvin who attended to our every need throughout our stay but also the lovely personnel behind the scenes: Marie-Ange and Davina in charge of rooms; Joanne and Samuel at breakfast; Kris, Ashley, Elvira, Lucie at the various dinners - and everyone else who helped make our stay magical.

while lovely and relaxing, it could have done with some more entertainment on the evenings - themed nights or live music or shows. it was very boring at night - restaurants like ginja and c beach were great vibe, the other restaurants were quite dull in the evening

Amazing hotel with amazing service. Very personalized service with staff dedicated to the planning of activities. Huge thanks to Josh from the concierge, he was fantastic in helping us organizing our activities. Food at the different restaurants at the resort are very good as well. Has everything you need and really impeccable service. Furthermore, I have never seen such fast internet apart of South Korea. 300MPBS download speed and even higher upload speeds!

Only negative thing I could point out is outdated phones in the room, but really not a big issue.

View, calm, kid's club hours, wellness center services, food overall quality, coktails, and swiming pools.

Slow service or messy (especially conciergerie). Could not get 'navette' from a distant restaurant, so we walked back to hotel after 20min wait. Kid's club activities not very well organised ending in frustration and cries for our kids. Sewer smell in the room waking us up at night (not up to a 5 stars hotel)

The beach is decent. Some staff were decent.

Location, incompetent staff (many examples to list), poor hygiene (all types of bugs found in our room: mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches, SPIDERS, you name it. I have evidence), Wi-Fi very unstable, most guests were elderly Europeans.

We had the most fabulous stay at Le Telfair. The resort is beautiful with 2 pools and stunning beaches. You also have access to Awali resort which is next to Le Telfair (walkable) but we never felt the need to go elsewhere - but I think they have a couple more pools you can access. We found it absolutely fantastic at catering to our needs as a family with an 18 month old. The kids club runs every day from 830-4pm and the staff there are so lovely and reassuring. I think Ivy was the lady in charge and can’t praise her and the other staff enough. They give the kids their lunch and snacks, put them down for naps, and take them swimming/out in the big garden with play area. Our baby was very happy there, and ate and slept very well for our whole stay! The fact it is so child friendly was definitely a highlight for us, but I would say that it is totally suitable for couples, and there were plenty of older couples there. Because the childcare provision is so brilliant the pool does not get busy with kids until later on in the day. We also used the babysitting service most evenings so we could go for dinner. Geraldine was a star and took great care of Henry, I had such confidence in her and would book her again in a heartbeat (including managing an evening of vomit from him!). There are lots of activities available on site, and excursions you can take elsewhere. As I was pregnant I didn’t do any of the nature reserve trips which I would want to try and do next time. However we did take kayaks/SUP/pedalos, and played tennis and used the gym so there was plenty to do on site. I also had a massage in the spa which was lovely. The breakfast was fabulous - lots of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, hot options, pastries and pancakes. We were half board which worked out well for us as we didn’t drink a lot of alcohol due to my pregnancy so wouldn’t have got our money worth I don’t think.
