Excellent decor

Waiting staff was not consistent nor fast, amenities like TV, shower, electric outlet in need of serious update

good location nearby 3 parks, (Suropatti, MENTENG, Situ Lembang), a busy road full of cafes and restaurants (Cikini), just 25 minutes walk from the heart of Jakarta (Selamat Datang), and 2 adjacent major malls (5/5) The service was excellent and obliging (5/5) The room was well appointed with a strong homey feel and we enjoyed the small living area (4/5)

due to a series of events, the Hermitage lounge was closed and so was the 1928 restaurant, the rooftop bar and the pool (1/5) therefore our experience was limited to a nice room and (4/5), and an excellent hospitality (5/5) the quality of the food at breakfast did not meet our expectations (2/5)

This hotel offers an amazing experience. The staff was excellent providing you help with anything to make your stay memorable. The room was very nice. Also, I appreciated the eye for detail, by offering a nice treat when entering the room for the first time. In short, perfect stay!

There was nothing I did not like. My stay is was perfect!

Location is great, easy to get to and from anywhere. Very comfortable bed, the room is well sanitized. Staffs are very attentive and helpful. Will stay here again.

The hot water took forever to heat up and the bathroom is a little cramped.

The customer service was very good. The breakfast has a great selection in buffet style and you could also order from a menu.

The pool area was not too inviting, only three lounge chairs and otherwise a few tables. The rooftop garden as well was somewhat underwhelming. Looks best in the evening with a nice view of the city.

Bathrobe were too small and the fabric is not a good quality

Everything is awesome. Friendly staff, rooms are amazing. Cozy awesome place. Highly recommended.

Gym and sweeming pool could be a bit better

The Hermitage is a beautiful colonial 5 star hotel in Jakarta. The rooms are exquisite and very comfortable. Although I’m here during lockdown the facilities look wonderful. The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. What I also love about this hotel is that the rates are very reasonable. Much cheaper than other 5 star hotels of a similar level.

Love the colonial vibe and the location!

I'd like more dining options and crowd control. The fact that anyone can get in the hotel and go straight to the 9th floor felt a little unsafe to me.

The Hermitage is a slice of Indonesian history. Its a step back in time to an age of class and style. The Hermitage is housed in an old colonial building and is absolutely stunning. High ceilings, beautiful fittings, the hotel itself is like a museum. The resturant is excellent, and has a interesting quirk on Indonesian/french food. If you love being spoilt, surrounded by Indonesian history and culture - this is the place for you.

There is nothing not to like. The service is amazing, so if you have any problems, they are sure to take good care of you!

We received an exceptional service: we were upgraded to an executive king room, and the staff did everything they can to assist us in our every need. The food at the restaurant L'Avenue was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we expected.
