Beautiful and quaint. Close to beach and broad walk.
The narrow steps. Lol but I would still come back.

Breakfast was awesome. Great location. Everything was a short distance from the Inn. Staff were great
the internet was a bit spotty over the 3 night stay

This place was immaculate! Cleanest beach hotel I’ve ever stayed at! I also love how close it is to the beach. The breakfast was also super delicious!
The parking a few blocks away kind of sucks but I understand that’s out of their control as there’s limited parking in ocean city nj. The other thing I was a fan of was the scented towels (as someone with sensitive skin, I wish I would of known this otherwise I’d asked for non scented towels).

Beautiful rooms. Wonderful breakfast and hardworking staff.
Seamless checkin.

It was immaculately, clean and very accommodating. They had brownies and sangria Wine in the late afternoon for a treat, and it was just delightful to find it there.

The breakfast was delicious. Ease of access to the boardwalk and fun. The deck on top was lovely. Nice room that was attached to the deck. Unique rooms!
I had to communicate a lot with the property: pin to get in didn’t work, I had to call to ask for the parking lot address, lots of emails and info to sort through for a simple Jersey Shore stay.
Note, this hotel is not senior citizen friendly. We had to go up the steps almost sideways because the steps are so tall but small… and we are only 30 years old.

The room was very nice and clean.
No directions on how to get into the B&B that is not staffed. It took us 30 minutes to find our room. We had to call the owner because we were never given the code to get in the room.

Excellent. I had some trouble with the stairs (we are older...), but I knew ahead that it might be a challenge and was willing to give it a try. The staff was kind and helpful with our luggage, which made a huge difference.
No complaints at all.

Breakfast was lovely
The information about the property was inaccurate. There was no mention of three sets of stairs to get to out hot attic room
4.0
Location was good but there was no parking nearby so if you needed your car you walked 5 blocks to get your car. BTW no one around property to help with car
The steps
Nowhere on the website etc does it explain that there is no elevator therefore you must drag luggage etc up ( in our case ) 3 flights of steps
These are not just ordinary steps
They are steep and one is a circular step
It was dangerous and did I mention there is no one on the property to ask for help or a question
Totally ridiculous to not have anyone on the property to answer questions or concerns
There is a lovely living room where we spent much of our time playing cards, reading because the weather was rainy ( no fault of the B & B) but there was no room in our room to sit.
While in the living room we witnessed other guests arrive and discover the challenge of the steps and parking with no one to assist or answer questions.

Breakfast was delicious! Owner was very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Lobby area was very comfortable and where me and my friends spent the most time since it was raining and there were high winds the entire time we were there. It was also a nice touch that the owner left a pitcher of sangria and brownies in the lobby in the evening when we returned from dinner.
Nothing!

great location - rooftop deck - afternoon Sangria - clean room - quiet - great shower
There was only one room left (we booked late) - the room was very small. We would like to try a larger room. We wish the room could have been cooler - turned down the thermostat but that didn’t seem to do it (even though it should have cooled down quickly because it was a small room). We never tried breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Spotlessly clean
The main entrance is up a steep flight of exterior steps to the second floor and then an anterior narrow spiral staircase up to the third-floor where our room was. If I had known this I probably would not have booked a room. Also we were told that it would include an exceptional breakfast. It was a good breakfast but not exceptional and also there was an eight dollar gratuity surcharge posted to our account which I was not aware of until I got the invoice. The advertisement showed breakfast included but did not mention a mandatory surcharge of eight dollars. Also it has private parking and it was only after I got the invoice that I learned the fee was $20 a day And that the parking lot was three blocks away.

Everything was nice. We especially liked the rooftop deck & the Sangria in the afternoon.
The spiral staircase was a bit challenging.

Breakfast was fine. Small portions, and we heard the staff arguing in the kitchen.
No staff, no help. Expensive for one night so expectation is that things are included...- so beachtags included but if you are only staying one night you can't use them, because you check in at 4pm and check out at 11am. No way to drop them back before 4pm. Because there is no staff.

You can get a better breakfast buffet at a Holiday Inn. Nothing friendly about the owner.

Friendliness of the staff! I felt at home when walking to and from my room. Everything was very clean and organized. I really had such a great experience.
Everything was great! It’d be better if the parking spots were closer but it wasn’t an issue at all.

The Atlantis is a charming and convenient B&B that should be considered as an alternative to renting a local motel room. Our first floor room with a full kitchen was perfect for our needs, and was in excellent condition. The simple yet delicious breakfast was a great start to the day, and the friendly innkeeper was always available for any questions or requests.
These are just a few nitpicks that did not detract from our overall stay, but in the spirit of improvement I would comment on:
1) The period furniture in our room was almost too big making it hard to access the one side of the bed and keeping the cabinet door open to watch TV. There was also a dehumidifier in the room that was very loud at night.
2) The breakfast was fine but a simple heater plate to keep hot items warm would be great, and providing a cooked egg item each day would also be appreciated. A delicious quiche was available on the last day of our stay, and is something we would have enjoyed each day.

Breakfast was a little anemic. We kept seeing placards for food that was not available, such as quiche.
More staff interaction would have been nice- part of the B&B experience. The "block" from the ocean was a loooooong block.

I expected an elevator. The room was small, the people nice. Additional tipping and car parking were unexpected. Area too crowded to actually relax. Not for elderly.
The steps, room size, crowded location, parking and tipping.

The location was walking distance to most restaurants and activities as well as the beach
The nightmare began when I paid nearly $500 euro to book this hotel. It was pricey bit based on the reviews of a luxury hotel with luxury amenities, i didmt expevt a problem. I expected a restful amd relaxing fourth of July with 16 year old daughter, what I paid for was an absolutely horrible customer experience!y daughter and I were driving to OCNj and meeting one of her 16 year old friends there but due to traffic the young girl beat us to town by two hours and had no where to go. All I asked the staff for was a place for the minor to park her car for her own safety until we got there. But the staff demanded the payment in advance! After going back amd forth my card was declined for the $20 but I've been in Europe for thr last 2 weeks so I had to call financial institution amd handle that
The staff I guess were frustrated and kept hanging up one, Val the young man and Tammy the female were highly unprofessional, accused me of lying and shouting. (I was driving with the air conditioning on, no one but their staff were rude)
When I arrived, I was tired from flying across the Atlantic Ocean but had to wait for an hour because there's no one on site and no one would answer the phone to tell me how to get into the building. Upon finally getting into the room, not only was it tiny (yet nicely furnished) the floors must not have been swept because there was sand all over the floor and we hadn't even been to the beach!
Later that night after dinner amd fireworks we came back to the room to go to bed and I was bitten or felt something one, imaginey surprise to find ANTS in the bed!!!!
The next day I woke up to shower amd get ready and their hair dryer wouldn't blow air but just got red hot amd sparked! Lovely fire hazard.
After reporting this all to management, they sent me a very argumentative note effectively accusing me of lying about everything! Amd that I had brought ANTS in!

The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. The small amount of staff interaction was very pleasant. The bathroom amenities were very nice including the spa like shower. The banana bread at breakfast was delicious.
It was odd to not have any interaction with a human at an Inn/B&B until breakfast. We had a broken hairdryer and our thermostat battery died. The only chair in our room was under the TV. The breakfast wasn’t good, but the lady taking care of it was very nice.
