I’d had to tweak our stay in order to fit in even one night in Skoura, and my only regret is that I couldn’t fit in two at this utterly magical, enchanting kasbah. It’s even lovelier in real life than in the pictures.
The garden is gorgeous - in late October it was laden with pomegranates which we were welcome to pick, and with oranges which appeared, freshly squeezed, at the breakfast table. The only problem is deciding which charming nook, table, shady bench or rooftop vantage point you are going to choose.
Around every corner of both the garden and the building is a new, eye-catching architectural or decorative detail. Oh, and the mint tea and home-made snacks which welcomed us were absolutely delicious, as was all the freshly prepared and very generous food we were served. Dinner wasn’t automatically included in our booking but I highly recommend you add it.
The rooms were very comfortable and attractive, and the bathrooms lovely - plenty of hot water. Decent wifi, too. The pool and pool area were also great - sadly, we arrived too late in the day to take full advantage of it, but when I dipped a foot in, it didn’t seem unreasonably cold haha. The staff were friendly and accommodating and did everything to make our stay wonderful.
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Should have stayed longer

The Kasbah from Karim’s family is amazing! It was built by his grandfather over 50 years ago and is very very beautiful. The room is super comfortable with the best bed of our trip. It was really warm during the winter nights. Breakfast was stellar with the best and freshest orange juice of the entire trip, of oranges just picked from the garden that morning! Inside it is gorgeous and might be worth spending an extra night there. Secure parking too and lots of private space to relax, have dinner and breakfast. Good wifi too. Excellent hair dryer.
No hot water at night for shower and cold bathroom.

Spacious and comfortable family room in a beautiful building. Lovely family who cooked us a memorable (but huge!) diner

The gardens are amazing. All sorts of fruits and vegetables growing. We were travelling back from the desert - it was very hot, but the rooms had a/c and the pool was a perfect temperature. Food was excellent also. It’s not like 5 Star, but is very comfortable. The staff are very respectful of your privacy. It is very quiet.
The dinner was served quite late (10:30pm) but we think this may have been a communication issue, probably on our part. Simple fix - if you are ordering, just ask when it might be ready.

Best accommodation we had in Morrocco. The place is a palace with 2 wonderful gardens, great food and a pool. The rooms were super luxurious. I would like to go there again and stay for a few days just to relax and enjoy myself.

We found our best hotel in morocco this trip. The upgraded room was large and well equipped. Our host spoke good English and was very friendly and helpfull. The grounds of the hotel are nice with orange and pomegranate trees. Very tranquil. We had a very good dinner and breakfast.
Wifi worked, but was a bit weak at times. Good enough in most places.
As mentioned, easily the best place we stayed. Too bad we could only stay one night due to our schedule. We'll be back.

Unique, authentic and comfortable stay at the Kasbah. I felt like I was on a movie set playing a princess staying at a castle. Karim made us feel welcome and showed us around his property when we arrived. We booked a suite and had plenty space to stretch out for three people. Breakfast was excellent. I really hope I’ll be back soon!

The auberge/kasbah is build in the old Moroccan way, and surrounded by a nice garden with all sort of fruit, vegetables and herbs. We were met by a nice young host who served tea, nuts, dates, a special and vey nice cake, and fresh fruit in the room. The room was charming, and had, what is not usual in marrocan hostels, lots of electric light and places for loading etc. In the evening we were served a very nice meal by the fireplace, and the breakfast was amazing.

We had dinner in front of an open fire and the food was faultless. Breakfast was also great.
The hospitality faultless. It is a family owned Auberge not a Riad with grandfather stoking the fire and the sons looking after the guests. It was the grandfather who built the Auberge in 1970 using all the traditional methods

Beautifull Kasbah in the heart of the Palm garden. Very friendly Staff (Karim treated us very well); nice food! Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, overlooking the garden and surroundings, stunning views, excellent breakfast too :)
