LOVED this beautiful private Villa in Ubud! Great location at the end of a laneway with easy walking distance to MiniMarket for snack & drink supplies, close to excellent restaurants (Recommend Sun Sun Warung) and shops! All bedrooms are spacious and have outside bathrooms. The Villa staff are amazing and so very helpful - couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfasts were next level and the best we had anywhere in Bali! Pasek was very attentive and always made sure the mossie coils were lit and all our needs were met. He also kindly helped me book a jewellery making class which was kind of him. Pasek is supported by Juvie and another staff member who were both friendly and helpful. Staff were very unobtrusive and we felt we had the privacy we wanted in a Villa.

Hard to find a negative but if you have any mobility issues this Villa, which is on multiple levels with lots of steps, may not be the Villa for you. There is however a convenient toilet on the lower level where the kitchen/dining area and pool is which saves a hike back up to your ensuite.

The host family was awesome, breakfast was fantastic. The location was like an oasis. You're right in the middle of Ubud city, but you wouldn't know it from within the Villa due to the easy it's setup.

My friends and I loved everything about our stay with Pasek at Villa Purnamasari! Pasek and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming! They were always accessible when needed, but allowed us our own space and privacy as well. Notably, Bali's Day of Silence took place during our stay, which is a day that requires everyone on the island to stay home (all businesses...including the airport...are closed). Pasek and staff did everything they could to make sure we were set up and prepared for the day, making us a delicious breakfast (which is included everyday during your stay), as well as a traditional Balinese feast for dinner. Words cannot express how much we appreciated this, and just how much we enjoyed our stay with Pasek at Villa Purnamasari! Overall, everything was amazing! Super convenient location, while also incredibly quiet and private! Beautiful accommodations! Superb hospitality from the staff! Everything was awesome! We all agreed that if we return to Bali in the future, we will be booking with Villa Purnamasari!

The wifi was fairly weak in certain areas of the villa. This was not a problem for us generally, but it could be a concern if you are doing remote work and need a highly reliable connection. Also, it is important to note that you are in the jungle! You will hear different creatures (frogs, etc) surrounding the villas at night. I personally loved this, but if you are not an outdoorsy kind of person, be aware!

Our family, five adults, had a wonderful stay. A 5 star piece of tranquil paradise. The staff were wonderful, exceptionally clean, 3 great separate rooms, very comfortable beds and great linen. The pool was the best we have ever been in. The only problem was leaving to go into town😁. Do yourself a favour and book this accommodation; it's wonderful.

The villa is beautiful. The outdoor bathrooms are amazing. The staff are fantastic. We had the traditional Balinese buffet provided and it was excellent and great value.

The Villa is a tranquil oasis in the middle of Ubud. It is approximately a 10 minute stroll to the central Ubud market. The facilities are very much as they appear in the photos. The staff, led by Paset, were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. We loved everything about it. We highly recommend it. 👌

Excellent location right off the main part of town. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and the facilities were generally in good condition and clean.

The kitchen and kitchen ware could be a little cleaner. Maybe some minor renovation/upkeep is required but nothing major that adversely affects the stay. I could just be nitpicking.

Our host met us at the villa and was friendly and inviting from the moment we met him. He helped us with everything we need and always greeted us out the front when we returned to the villa after an outing with a smile and a friendly conversation. We had a Balinese feast the first night, and it was incredible. They accommodated our dietary requirements and provided a delicious meal.

Where do I even begin rating this villa? Exceptional doesn’t even cover it! This property and the people who run it are truly magnificent. To start with the most common questions - it is extremely clean, it is in a quiet location and tranquil, it is very close distance to Ubud centre (5-10mins) but off a main road so bars etc are still close by. Very good value for money with an amazing personalised breakfast (2/3 courses) and you have lots of options. However, what made this villa was the surroundings and Pasek & Putu :) This villa seems like you’re in a jungle with tropical and tranquil surrounding which is just lush so it’s perfect after sight seeing in Ubud and how manic that can be - lovely to come and chill. The bathrooms in each room are outdoors and gives it that nice touch. It is very clean and very well maintained and beautifully decorated. Paul the owner was also fab and answering all my questions at any time of the day with quick responses - this was much appreciated. However, the service was first class and Pasek (the manager) who is always on call at the villa is simply amazing!! He organised a Balinese buffet of lots of plates for us arriving which was cooked by him and his wife and honestly the best meal you’ll eat in Bali - we even had enough for the next day which was good as honestly eating in Bali can be difficult. The food was delicious and lots of! Next, Pasek organised a private tour with his friend who is a guide/taxi service, Made, and he took us to all the places we wanted to visit and more. This day consisted of nearly 10 hours which was tiring but all he did was smile and explain everything to us - please book your tours through villa instead of booking.com/trip advisor as these are custom made and much much cheaper! Made ended up being our driver on the island and took us to Seminyak for half the price it would have cost us elsewhere.

We absolutely loved our stay in this stunning villa! We felt so welcome & very relaxed. Everything we needed was taken care of so generously. The breakfast was beautiful & we loved the banquet dinner Pasek had prepared for us too. Truly an amazing stay & we can’t wait to go back! Our whole family had a wonderful stay. We loved the tranquil setting, swimming in the pool & the outdoor Master bathroom is heavenly too. Thank you Pasek & team! Pasek even organised a wonderful driver - Ketut to transfer us to the Villa & he became a wonderful guide & friend showing our family the sights of Ubud with such kindness & enthusiasm! Great communication from everyone prior to arriving & during our stay as well as getting to enjoy secluded privacy too.
