It was very cold inside the room in January but in summer it's probably fine. Also, the property is located about 30min away from city center and isn't very easy to find.

Everting was fine

This is a fun little apartment. It's a series of rooms including a magnificent underground bedroom ... it's like sleeping in a cave! The flat is connected to a couple of others, including that owned by the host, who was very helpful. The kitchen was great; I cooked for one of the few times on my trip. The entire apartment has been decorated by someone with a fine eye; there's a feel of rustic comfort throughout, yet some interesting modern art as well: it is certainly not 'cookie-cutter' "just like all the others" accommodation.

The location is high up a long hill, which is difficult for a cyclist, and the property is quite difficult to find, and parking is not close. It's in an old-town series of alley-ways, and the listed address is not much help. Google Maps could not find it: you are better off looking for the Villa Vigoni which is 20 meters away. There are some restaurants nearby, but you will need to go down the hill to Menaggio for more choices, or for a supermarket. Neither the title nor the picture looked like the actual place I stayed.

Design of the place is super cool. The owner is a sweetheart. Strongly recommend it.
