Neighborhood bar Chaichitos plays pounding dance music thursday-sunday night. People seem to leave dogs guarding properties that also bark all night. Beds are uncomfortable, but ok. Bring earplugs.

Our host and the person helping him was great even before we arrived. I had issues with my payment because my card had been stolen. They were patient with me as I tried to resolve. Juan Carlos was on site when we arrived and left to make sure everything was okay. I needed help with something and he came during our stay to help us. I love that we had a big space to chill outside and a pool table. It is safe to park. We were able to use one of the coolers there that saved us so much time and money during one of our day trips.

What I didn't like had more to do with the area than the property. We didn't realize it was more family oriented. There is no night life and all the restaurants were dead on. Friday and Saturday; except for one local karaoke pub that was on blast all weekend. They beach that was in walking distances was un-swimmable--again, it could have been the time of the year. The roads were under construction and by the time we found the good beach, it was late. I think the location and the area is beautiful, but for families or people that are super active and not looking for night life. I recommend doing a deep dive researching the area. I thought i did, but it fell short.

There are many reasons to recommend staying here: its proximity to the most beautiful beach on the northern shore (only a 5 minute walk away from Seven Seas Beach), the wide range of locally run restaurants also within walking distance (2 minutes away), the natural wonders (Bioluminescent Laguna Grande) and the sounds of Coqui in the night are just a few. The apartment is well maintained and clean and has everything you need in terms of kitchen equipment and appliances, towels etc., but the best reason to stay here would be the host. Juan was always reachable and very helpful, friendly and forthcoming. It was a pleasure staying at his accommodation during our time on the Island, and my wife and I would love to be able to stay here again if and when we make it back. A thoroughly enjoyable and hopefully repeatable time.

The comfort was exceptional throughout the house.

In the advertisement it states a pool table for recreation. However, it does not inform that there is a fee associated with, in order to play. All though it is minimal it should be included especially if you are with children. There was not sufficient toilet paper, there was only one roll per bathroom for five habitants. Towel two per bedroom was adequate. However, if it can accommodate eight people it should have more to spare. The area was as advertise close to the beach walking distance. Very quiet in nature hospitable surrounding, plenty of nearby restaurants to one's liking and a variety of menus. The owner was very polite with and easy to reach by phone.

Size and comfort of the house was off the scale amazing as was the friendliness of the hosts. However, don't expect to get much sleep on the weekends -as the Puerto Ricans love to party hearty with loud music from the nearby bar all through the night. When they finish at about 4 AM the Roosters chime in.

We stayed upstairs for one week over President‘s Day. Fajardo Las Croabas is a smaller vacation spot for mostly Puerto Ricans. Very spacious superclean brand new space with lots of light and air. The apartment has everything- full kitchen, two bathrooms w towels and soap and AC in every bedroom. Large TV and Amazon Echo. You can sit downstairs outside and mingle with downstairs renters if you like. Has a pooltable! 5min stroll to beach. If you walk just a few hundred feet into the nature Reserve you have the beach to yourself. Excellent location for trips into El Yunque, biobay, island hopping to Culebra or trip to San Juan. Owner Juan Carlos is extremely friendly and personally hands over the property to you and explains everything. Place has remote gate opener for car parking and general access and location felt extremely safe. Walking to several decent restaurants.

The place can be a bit noisy. Free running roosters and cats start your day around 5am. This was a Holiday Weekend in Puerto Rico too. A nearby outdoor club played VERY loud music until 1:30am Saturday. Much better on Sunday. Weekday nights were very quiet and relaxing. We did not hear anything the following Friday, a regular weekend. In general this is not a concern and the location makes up for it.
