About this house rental
Located in Anacortes, this attractive house for $922 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. We are not renting the home for long term rental at this time. Charming 2BDRs, 2 BTHRs home with 180 - degree view of Puget Sounf/San Juan Islands. Master Bedroom- King Bed Second Bedroom: Queen Bed Home can sleep up to 6 people. Other features include: An attic that is good for teenagers with Queen 8" thick mattress and 2 x single/twin mattresses (steep steps). A large sitting room with a sofa & 2 recliners, 6 people size- dining table and a Grand Yamaha piano, office with a laundry room. There is a great family/TV room with plenty of sitting places & reclining sofa. Hundreds of books to read to any liking and some games, including a Poker set. Free WiFi, Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime movie options. We do not have cable TV. Entrance door is key-less and a code would be provided 1 week before arrival, or after final payment. There is a very private backyard with BBQ & Jacuzzi. This home offers high-end finishes and details to enjoy your stay. Exterior features wood & brick siding, and large custom windows facing the Sound. The kitchen is equipped with all pots, cutlery or spices that you may need. Wolf & Miller appliances, expresso coffee machine, granite slab countertops with raised bar & bar chairs. Spacious living room with dining area and family room with beautiful Puget Sound views. Home is located on the West of Fidalgo Island with stunning 180 degree views of Puget Sound & San Juan Islands. Home is locate on high banks, there is no water access. Great getaway by road or ferry to Whidbey Island, San Juan, Orcas & Guemes Islands, Deception Pass & Sidney/Victoria, BC. You can cruise from Anacortes downtown's ferry terminal to many places; do sea or fresh water fishing, kayaking, hiking or biking on hundreds of trails on the Island and much more to explore and experience, like - an all year events & festivals , local wine, fresh seafood, excellent dining opportunities . This is a home and not just a house. The owners have lived and enjoyed the home and the things in it reflect that. That being said, there are things that a very small child should not play with. Our teenage grandson loved the attic sleep quarters but we didn’t let our younger grands go up there when they came over.
The view is amazing and we spent many evenings just sitting and watching for whales.
It was in between the neighborhood our son and his family live in and Deception pass so a good location. The house sits right off the road.
We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was our second stay in this lovely home and we love that the owners continue to invest in making improvements to the property. The view and the location can't be beat - you're only about 10 minutes to town and close to tons of parks and outdoor spaces. We spent a lot of time taking in the amazing views on the back deck. So peaceful and serene! The owner was extremely responsive to every question or concern. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Our one disappointment was that we were unable to use the hot tub during our stay. Otherwise, it was a fabulous trip and we hope to return someday.

We booked at the last minute after another property fell through. The owners were so accommodating and made sure we understood the property. The view is beyond amazing and the house had high end appliances and furnishings. It is a unique property about 5 minutes from town and on a busy road enroute to Deception Pass. Enjoyed the house and space and highly recommend.

The anticipated view from the VRBO pictures were even better than expected. The house is situated on a rise with unobstructed, panoramic views of Burrows Bay. The house is tastefully decorated, well stocked and very comfortable. Terrace is landscaped reminiscent of the Riviera, has a Jaccuzzi and we spent many pleasant hours admiring the sunsets. Highly recommended and we hope to return ourselves.

Wonderful Stay
Had a relaxing long weekend at this property! The furnishings are luxurious and the home has everything you’d need to getaway and relax. Proximity to hiking and amazing views off the back deck. Highly recommend.

Beautiful unique property and great host!
Property: Clean, unique custom built home is situated on a cliff overlooking the bay. Two bedrooms, two baths. The attic has two additional mattresses but be prepared to access them from a sturdy wooden ladder. My adult sons had no problem. Probably not the best for kids under about 10 but perfectly suitable for our twenty-something boys. Kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed and then some. Tv room had large comfy couch we all lounged on while watching movies. Foosball table was a huge hit. Beds were comfy and in floor heat was wonderful. Hot tub was great and especially lovely on the snowy days. The supermarket was only about 10 minutes away.
The host was extremely helpful and understanding when our departing flight was delayed - so appreciated! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

the access to the 'attic' beds needs to be fully disclosed. We are a group of 70ish year old women who had to double up in beds on th emain level due to safety concerns accessing the upstairs beds.

We had an incredible time over spring break renting this house. The view was spectacular, the beds were sooooo comfortable, and the general atmosphere was warm and welcoming!

This is one of the best equipped homes I have ever stayed in. The view is amazing and very peaceful. The teenagers loved the attic space as well as playing foosball, pop-a-shot, and playing chess. We also enjoyed the hot tub and taking in the beautiful sunsets. I would definitely stay in this beautiful home again.

Four adults, one toddler and a dog shared the space nicely, with plenty of places in the home to spend time or relax. The deck size is also incredibly accommodating to outdoor gatherings and our daughter loved the swings!Pros:* Well furnished with comfortable seating and bedding* Fantastic kitchen amenities (including espresso machine)* A view that never ceases to entertain* We had low fly-overs from an Osprey and Bald Eagle (nice!)* Perfect movie watching den with all the streaming services* Heated floors throughout are a treat seldom enjoyed* Hot tub with a pretty hard to beat sunset view* Owner communication is fast and excellent* Conveniently located minutes from Rosario Beach/Deception Pass and not far from a quaint grocery storeCons:* House is situated off a 40mph two-lane "highway" so you will hear car traffic while enjoying the deck. The house itself is well built/insulated and mitigates road noise when indoors. In fact, can't even recall hearing the road from inside the house.* Dogs that are particular about where they potty will need to be walked across or along the busy road. I walked mine to a big grassy section of land around the fire department just a couple hundred feet away from the house. Wasn't bad or even near the worse locations for dog walking. Don't let this affect your decision unless you want a safe grassy space for your dog to roam off leash. As a counter to this, the deck is fully enclosed so dogs can be outside off leash but won't have a place to potty without a walk.Book this property if you are looking for a great place to stay while visiting this part of WA. It offers more than just a roof and some beds. You'll truly enjoy the views whether at the table for a meal or relaxing on the deck. Heck, you'll enjoy the views while in the kitchen too.
