We needed a jumping off point for a trip to visit colleges and Museums in Raleigh/Chapel Hill area. this property was incredibly convenient and had plenty of room for all. The rooms are large, each with its own very nice sized bathroom and walk-in closet. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and the backyard was pretty and peaceful.

House was perfect for our needs. We were there for my mother’s 95th birthday party which was close by. Convenient location, very close to grocery store, restaurants, etc.... house was very clean and as pictured. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening. Kitchen well stocked. Andrew was a fabulous host!

The only caution is, that you may need bug spray and parking may be tricky, but you can make it work. I highly recommend it.

Upon entering the rental you're immediately overwhelmed with the scent of what smells like too many glade plugins. The queen bed on the bottom floor is so uncomfortable my friends chose to sleep on the floor instead of having the springs stab them in the back. The remote to the TV didn't work and a replacement was offered but it never arrived. We left something behind and the property manager said he grabbed it for me, asked for my Venmo, my address, and the type of shipping I wanted. He promised he'd ship it a couple times and then, crickets... No response of any kind for weeks. This is the same property manager who didn't bring a tv remote which was the first sign of the empty promises to come. The fenced yard is nice but definitely a huge mud pit if it's raining, neighborhood is ok but def not safe since it's right by the highway in a very low income area. All in all a decent place but the property manager is a liar and the interaction with him has unfortunately soured my experience with this rental.

Southern hospitality at its best
From start to finish, easy as can be. A last minute change was not a problem. Owners are easy to contact. Property was clean and there were plenty of dishes. We felt like we were at home. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a nice home in a great neighborhood and convenient for stays near the city. However, the home simply was not clean, poorly stocked, the TVs did not work properly and the outdoor area was not in the condition shown on the site. We had to clean bathrooms kitchen and kitchen floor before unpacking.

We had an awesome time at this property. The owners were extremely easy to get in touch with to help us find things we needed. The check in process was super easy as was checkout! A small heads up that the driveway gets steep on the right side so if you drive a smaller car, try to park on the left side or on the street to avoid scraping your car.

I rented this property for some of my adult children to stay in for a surprise engagement. It ended up being a great place to gather, especially during COVID when taking a large group out to eat would be difficult. Initially I had booked another property owned by the same group. There ended up being a double booking because of a calendar going live when it wasn’t supposed to. Unfortunately due to a hiccup with my phone, I missed all communication until just a couple of days prior. They were very helpful and were able to accommodate me with this property due to a cancellation. They even matched the price of the other property. I really appreciated all of their help to rectify everything.They even accommodated for a last minute pet addition.The house was very neat and clean and looks like it was newly furnished. There is a huge chalkboard wall which has the rules and some general info. The only negative I would say is that it would be better to focus on the positives and encouraging guests to enjoy their stay more than some of the negative connotations about their rules. Seems as if maybe they’ve had some issues in the past and they are trying to cover their bases. It just leaves a little bit of a bad taste in your mouth at the onset of what’s supposed to be time away.

This property was amazing! From the outside it wouldn’t look like much , but the inside is beautiful & very accommodating! very clean & chill environment. Check-In process was easy, and the property manager met us & gave us a tour of the house! My friends & I really enjoyed our time there for my birthday, and I would definitely book again!

For the overall rating of this property, I give it a 5. The host fails to mention that the driveway is basically non-existent. There’s no where to park your car, the street is very narrow, and crowded by multiple other cars which makes it hard to get to the property. It is located in the ghetto near downtown. Although, the host did do well communicating when we had problems at the property. He sent the wrong code. But when we arrived the property, it was DIRTY! Tanning lotion left outside, there were no pillows on the seats, the seats were filled with trash, leaves, and acorns. My nephews were excited to sit out there but nobody had bothered to clean it prior to our arrival. We paid a cleaning fee during booking but the property was not clean upon arrival. In addition, there were DEAD BUGS in the refrigerator. The bottom of the fridge is filled with dirt. Beware of bugs throughout the property, seeing as the house is next to the woods. Also, please be cautious of downstair flooring. There are some cracks in the floorboards that make it easy to fall. Please email [email protected] for picture evidence of what I endeavored during my stay at this property. I have time/location stamped photos of the house I took during my stay. Although, the house did have bandaids that came in handy! My uncle was smoking and accidentally gave himself a little burn on the arm. Very considerate of Andrew to have those! The house is true to size. But the sanitation level of this property is a great concern. I feel that a little extra effort towards cleanliness can go a long way, especially in the middle of a pandemic!
