This beautifully updated Kiawah Island vacation rental offers two bedrooms, an open floor plan, and lovely lagoon views. The villa is about a 5-minute walk to the beach and comes with a special beach gear and bike credit. The villa's open floor plan allows an easy flow from the kitchen to the dining area and to the main living room with a bay window area for enjoying the wildlife and lagoon views. When you enter this second-floor villa, the fully equipped kitchen is to your right and offers everything you need for your vacation meals. At the end of the kitchen is the dining area with seating for six. There is also a bar with bar stools for additional seating. Enjoy the beautiful lagoon views during your family meals at the dining table or enjoy your morning coffee from the round table with seating for two located in a bay window off of the main living and dining areas. There is a large cozy chair and ottoman in the bay window where you can cuddle up with a good book and enjoy the Kiawah Island views as well. The living room has a sectional sofa, a large flat-screen TV (with cable, Firestick, Blu-ray Player, as well as Sony surround sound system), a bar area with wine glasses, and tray ceilings with fans. The primary bedroom can be accessed from the main living area and offers a king-sized bed, large windows, a flat-screen TV with Firestick (no cable) and a private bathroom with double sinks and a large shower. The second bedroom is located to the left when you enter the villa. This bedroom has a queen-sized bed (with a trundle underneath) and an XL twin bed, as well as a flat-screen TV with Firestick (no cable). There is also a desk and chair, as well as an extra computer monitor with an HDMI cord, for those needing to work remotely. This villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours! During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, boating, Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park. Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina aquarium, horse drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks and sumptuous dining. RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email. Great location close to the beach, tennis and The Sanctuary. Very clean place. Very comfortable master bed and the place was perfect for our long weekend visit to Kiawah.

We had a few glitches with the initial cleaning of the unit but everything was quickly corrected by the very responsive management company who ensured that everything was to our liking.

Unit was not well-equipped, coffee maker didn't work, toaster didn't work, the unit was dirty, mismatched china, no serving dishes, floors were filthy, carpet was dirty, no screens in living room, etc. Location of unit was great, but otherwise would not recommend renting this unit until a substantial upgrade is made.

My family had a wonderful visit to Kiawah Island, and the accommodations were outstanding. We came for the Marathon this weekend. We plan to come again and want to stay in this unit. Beautiful, clean, convenient place to stay! Loved it!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was perfect for the long weekend we had planned. The unit was nicely furnished and the view from the main living area was lovely. It was disappointing, however, that there were not appropriately sized filters for the coffee maker. Additionally, the coffee maker leaked with each use and sometimes did not provide a full pot, even when the water tank was filled to 10 cups. Regarding the $150 beach gear comes with a $25 delivery charge that is never mentioned until you order. Our gear rental was less than $150, but we still were charged the full $25 fee; which was fine, but I think it is best to be up front about it. Overall, it was very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the location-short bike ride to the bike trail, tennis courts, and the beach. Lots of comfortable spots in the condo to relax and work.
