Nestled in Terrigal, this attractive house for $1,135 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy panoramic views of Avoca Beach and Cape Three Points from The Retreat s living area while being mere seconds from the sand. Perched among the vegetation just above the beach, the home s eastern facing, open construction intermingles with the sounds and smells of the ocean to create a unique holiday space. Organic materials, glass and minimalist furnishings allow for light to fill the space, transforming the tone of the home at all hours of the day. A raised deck with outdoor seating at the beachfront creates a natural flow between the bedrooms, living space and outdoors. The Retreat s main level follows an open-plan style, lending itself to shared living. The kitchen, lounge, and indoor and outdoor dining flow into one another, with sliding doors and vast windows disrupting the distinction between nature and home. Stone tiled floors and wide windows utilise the sea-breeze to cool the home in the heat of summer. A gas fireplace and underfloor heating in the main living room warms the home from its core in the winter. With an inviting open living environment that echoes the sounds and smells of its beachfront location, The Retreat North Avoca provides the perfect escape. This property is not available for use for functions or social events. Full bond will be forfeited if this is the case. Bedroom and Bathroom Configuration Upstairs: Bedroom 1: Master Suite - King size bed, ensuite bathroom with stand-alone shower and bath-tub, walk-in closet, ceiling fan, deck with outdoor setting. Really enjoyed our stay. Location is amazing and top level of house is great. Unfortunately the bottom level smelled of mould and two rooms in particular couldn’t be used. Other than that it was fabulous.

The beach is literally on your doorstep at this North Avoca holiday home. Plenty of space for two families and all the amenities you will need for a great beach stay. Little cafe and general store on the same street and lovely walk along the beach to the cafes, restaurants and calm ocean at Avoca Beach. The host was also very helpful. We will be back for sure

Amazing view, beautiful house

Great house right on the beach in the centre of North Avoca. Beautifully done interiors. Loved the under floor hearing for our winter long weekend by the beach! The cafe up the road was handy and with Terrigal restaurants just a 4 minute drove over the hill, this was a really lovely weekend getaway. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful retreat!

We enjoyed a wonderful week here, in this beautifully designed and appointed home. The design allows for an openness, and the views along the coast are spectacular. With direct access to the beach, and easy access to shops and restaurants, it is in an ideal location. A perfect spot for a beach retreat, and we’ll definitely be back!

Sensational location - beach @ doorstep, watched dolphins whilst eating dinner & short walk to fabulous cafe & beautician who does great massages. Loved the Aesop toiletries. Nice touch. Thank you.

Fantastic place

Fantastic place

My company organised a corporate retreat here and the place was fantastic. We were able to talk business whilst having the awesome view of the beach as a backdrop. The facilities were also excellent and the open space living area was great (the photos on the site did not do it justice). The experience was so good that we are thinking about another strategy retreat here in the near future.

My family and I had a truly wonderful stay at the ‘retreat’ in Avoca. The owners have created a beautifully designed space and we loved every moment of it. And you can't beat the location. We felt very grateful that they choose to rent it out and hope to be back again one day!

Great position, lovely decor and really clever design that allowed the house to be opened up when you wanted that "outdoor feel" or closed with a great view when the weather not so kind. Kids really enjoyed the table tennis table & their own spsce downstairs - leaving the adults at peace upstairs. We will be back!
