Situated only a short walk away from the white sand Mendira beach and village, Villa Anjani is the perfect villa for families or groups to explore the beauty of the Eastern coast of Bali. ROOMS Villa Anjani has 5 bedrooms, comprising 3 doubles and 2 twins - which can also be made into double rooms. Four bedrooms are in the pool pavilion; the two rooms on the second floor share a shower & bathroom and so can be most suited to a family group with children, as you access the second bedroom [a master with sea view] from the first [a twin]. The 2 rooms are separated by a short corridor where you will find a full bathroom & shower and also a large walk in wardrobe. On the lower floor there are two more double rooms. The fifth bedroom is in the annex to the rear of the villa and is accessed by a steep spiral staircase. The courtyard style pool allows privacy whilst keeping a good connection between all the rooms. LOCATION AND AREA Villa Anjani is in a secluded area near the traditional village of Mendira, only a few minutes away from the centre of Candidasa. A breathtaking location with stunning views across the bay to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan, Villa Anjani is set on a small low-tide beach, home to a wealth of marine life on the healthy coral reefs. Making it easy to grab a snorkel and immerse yourself in the underwater world. Villa Anjani offers guests a total escape from the stresses of modern life. The beautiful tranquility and easy views across the bay are a real highlight of spending time in this East Bali coastal area. There is a large garden area which is ideal for kids to run around with steps down to the private sandy beach at low-tide. There are also long piers on which to walk when the tide is in and you wish to dive and swim in deeper waters. The white sand beach in Mendira village is only a 5 minute walk away through the quiet lanes. The Mendira beach is quiet, shallow and calm water ideal for young children. We provide snorkel gear so you can explore the reef in front of the villa where we have seen turtles and many other colourful sea life. A secluded courtyard swimming pool makes Villa Anjani perfect for families or groups of friends. INCLUSIONS AND AVAILABLE SERVICES Rate is inclusive of taxes, and also includes unlimited tea, coffee and water throughout the stay, and the exclusive use of the villa facilities and the services of the dedicated staff including a cook, housekeeper and general manager who also can help you in arranging trips, tours, massages or anything else that you need. Although not included in the rate, we can also provide a full breakfast with fresh juice and fresh fruits, wholemeal and white toast, and jams and spreads, a selection of cereals, and a choice of eggs and bacon or pancakes or Asian breakfast (fried rice / fried noodles). The staff are also happy to prepare other meals and serve you drinks throughout the day at a cost that is close to the cost of groceries, plus a 20% villa charge. The villa also has a fully equipped chef's kitchen and an outdoor dining area perfect for entertaining. For smaller kids, we offer daycare and evening babysitting if adults wish to have an evening out [a small gratuity for babysitting after 7pm is added to the bill but is an optional payment]. The standard villa rate is based on 4 bedrooms and maximum 8 guests. If you wish to have 5 bedrooms, or additional beds, we have two single beds that we can put one in each of the twin rooms, making them triple rooms. We also have a small double sofa bed in the main bedroom as well. So the villa can actually sleep 13 guests. (additional charges apply for more than 4 bedrooms and 8 guests) Please note: There is a drop after the garden down to the beach, that is not fenced off and is completely open.

The rooms were very nicely made and modern. Loved that as soon as I opened the rooms, I was greeted by a wonderful blast of air conditioning! The bathrooms were a bit musty, but it’s totally unsurprising considering the climate here. So that was no big deal. The pool was very nice and not too cold. The actual beach area felt a bit cramped, but it was nice to have easy access down to swim in the ocean. Overall a really nice set up and the owners were very wonderful about accommodating my family and our changing plans. The staff there were very kind and made great breakfasts at our requests. I had a hard time getting responses from the prop manager, but at least my other family members were able to get a hold of them. Overall a fabulous property and super thankful to have had the opportunity to stay.

I usually do not expect a rental to end up living up to the photos on the internet, but can assure you that this listing is everything and more than you see here. The grounds are meticulously kept and all rooms are completely clean. My friends and I found ourselves in awe of the amenities and spent plenty of time just wandering around and enjoying the views and expansive living quarters. Villa Anjani is perfect for a group of friends who would all like their own beds as our group was or for multiple families who want separate rooms entirely. There were 5 separate rooms in the home. The best part to the house was the common area where you can easily seat all guests either in the dining / living area or beside the pool. The pool was extremely clean and was the perfect temperature. The staff on hand was exceedingly nice and though we did not need much were more than happy to help us when we did need something. The owners Rene and Tom were very accommodating and understanding in our organizing phase. We chose to get to their villa by scooter which was an absolute adventure in itself, and probably not suggested for the faint at heart... It took us about 2-1/2 hours to get there via scooter as we were new to the rules of the road and the directions in general. You are able to have them pick you up for a very reasonable fee also and that would be a great option also. WIFI was a little lacking, because the router and gateway components in the common area have been exposed to sea air and are corroding a bit, but it worked well enough for our purposes. Probably not good enough for someone looking to get serious work done though. In summary, if you are debating on which rental you will like the most just go with this one as it will be more than comfortable and impressive.
