Banana Pancakes is a delicious 1950’s weatherboard cottage, renovated and restored into a delightful and comfortable holiday home, set in a fairytale cottage garden in the prettiest corner of Margaret River and only a kilometre from town. As the name suggests, this is the place where you can relax with your family and friends, and indulge the eating pleasures of a leisurely Sunday morning, where the world rolls by. This picturesque jarrah cottage is fully self-contained and is situated on a one acre bush property with cultivated gardens, native plants and fruit trees, fully fenced to keep the family dog secure. It's tucked away in a majestic location surrounded by tall trees, cottage gardens and quietly chirping birds. Lovely cottage for family stay, although not really suited to 14 month old who is walking due to verandah. Great for older kids above 2 years. Great size rooms and layout. Location was excellent.

Banana Pancakes is a clean and comfortable house on a lovely bush block. We love coming here to relax and to walk on the easily accessible trails nearby - and so do our dogs! Another fantastic stay for us, thank you for sharing your property.

This is our second time staying at Banana Pancakes. We absolutely love it. The bush setting is calming and peaceful, and only a short drive into town. A great place to base your Margaret River experience.

Banana Pancakes was really delightful - it felt isolated and like a true getaway being on an acre of bush, but was walking distance to the centre of Margs. My kids had an absolute ball exploring the secret pathways, trampoline and tyre swing, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck. The whole place was really well stocked with everything we needed, both the kitchen and toys, dvds and books in particular. The owners had great communication and check in and out was easy. Thank you - we will be back again for sure ☺️

Banana Pancakes is a gorgeous little cottage style home! It had everything we needed including lots of books and toys for the kids. Great location - close enough to the town centre to walk but away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Nestled into a forest block a nice walk or quick drive from Margaret River town, Banana Pancakes cottage is a flashback to previous times reminding me of my grandparent’s place with a very well equiped kitchen. All the items to keep warm in winter are provided. The gardens provide great bird watching opportunities with easy access to walking or biking tracks around Margaret River. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival and we enjoyed our stay with four adults.

We had the best stay at Banana Pancakes! The property has so much charm and character, we felt right at home instantly. It's nestled under the canopy of the trees, with The Secret Garden vibes, but only a stone throw away from the main strip in Margaret River. The kids had the best time exploring the garden, jumping on the trampoline, as well as the roasted marshmallows by the fireplace. It was the perfect location and home to retreat from our busy lives in Perth and explore the surrounds such as the caves, Boranup forest and Hamelin Bay. The kids won't stop talking about our "holiday house". I'm sure we'll back sometime soon! Thank you for having us Jacqui & Martin!

This lovely cottage was very clean and really comfortable. It's located close to town but is surrounded by trees and greenery, so you feel like you are in the forest looking out from the windows of the property. The fire made the cold, rainy nights cosy and enjoyable. It would be helpful to have more towels, as one per person for 6 nights wasn't enough, particularly as there's no clothes dryer and it's difficult to dry washing in the middle of winter. That would be my only negative. Otherwise Banana Pancakes is great place to stay in Margaret River!

Not a lot to complain about really, we had a few minor issues and had tried to contact the owners 6 times over 3 days with no response until after we'd vacated the property. I suspect this is a policy of Stayz as this has happened to us before. As I said, small issues and overall we were happy with our stay

We loved our stay at Banana Pancakes, we wished we could have stayed longer. Plenty of space for our 3 teenagers to have their privacy and great communal area big enough for lounging and playing games as a family. Communication from the host was fantastic. If we are in the area again we would love to stay again.

Very comfortable cottage. Loved the fire and well equipped kitchen with awesome oven for family cooking. Location was a lovely walking distance to town but quietly out of the centre. Great for the dog. Martin was super helpful with last minute requests. Would definitely stay again

This home is a little gem! If you're looking for a country getaway, that's right in the town centre, this place is for you! With plenty of room for "hide & seek" with little ones, and a trampoline to boot! Games to play, Pancakes to cook it made it difficult to leave to explore the region. Comfortable beds, bbq, oven/Cooktop, dishwasher, washing machine, linen & towels provided! Great coffee 2 minutes away!

It was great being able to take our dogs away with us for the weekend. The house and property were beautiful and perfect for the pups to have a roam around when we were sat on the decking chilling out. Will definitely book in again in the future
