The condo had a gorgeous view of the beach and had everything we needed, including beach has a large covered patio that overlooks one of the two pools.We enjoyed sitting there in the evening and early morning, and watching all the birds and even saw a red fox on the dunes.The beach was very clean and wasn’t crowded at all. Can’t wait to go back and stay longer next time. We will definitely rent the same place again.

Great place for a family vacation! We loved the proximity of the restaurants and attractions as well as the friendliness of everyone we met. The beach is a good distance from the unit - we could see this from pictures but didn’t realize how hard of a walk it would be carrying everything for the kids and ourselves. It was a workout in the middle of the day. Also because of the distance you couldn’t hear the ocean from the condo balcony which was a bummer. As for the unit, beds and couches were super comfy! The guest tub would barely drain so everyone had to use the master bath. The baseboards and doors with slats (in every single room) were covered in a thick layer of hair and dust which made us question the cleanliness of everything. With a good cleaning this unit would have been perfect.It also came with beach toys, umbrella, chairs and a tent which was a very nice addition!

We were in unit 310. It was clean, nicely appointed, had a great view of the beach. It was comfortable for the two 60+ couples staying there. There were only 4 wash cloths, but it was sized for 6 and our older kids came for a couple nights. Luckily a friendly neighbor gave us a couple more. The walk to the beach is long, made longer by the record-breaking heat that week. We rented umbrellas and chairs to keep out of the sun. The water was nice, though tepid at best. All that has little to do with the place though. The two pools were very clean and inviting. A few kids were playing there from time to time, which gave a homey feel. The balcony offered a great place to read and listen to the ocean when it wasn't too hot. I've seen some talk about the drill rigs offshore. You can see them. They are about 4 miles out but they look closer. They are gas rigs, not oil rigs. We found it fun to estimate their distance, and what the different structure were for. They had no real impact on our stay. At night they light up like Christmas trees, looked like a party was going on. I though it was interesting. No real impact on star gazing. We had a good time, and no problems with the place. Dauphin Island is small and quiet. You need to plan ahead if you wan to eat out or see attractions. But there was good food to be had, and short drive up to Mobile if you want something fancier. We checked out the aquarium and that was fun. Plenty of AC, and you can try to pet the rays in the petting pool. Overall I'd recommend this place to friends looking for a quiet beach.

2bd 2 ba unit. It was just my husband and I, but would have been manageable for 2 couples. Enjoyed the stay. 2 nice pools. Unit was comfortable and clean. Office staff friendly. It is a long walk to the beach, so you're not getting that up close water view and experience. That is the only drawback.

This is a beautiful property. We had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. We enjoyed a lot of time sitting on the deck, lounging by the pool, and hanging out on the beach. The weather was perfect at mid to high 70s. The property and beach wasn’t crowded this time of year since schools are still in session. The property is clean and well maintained. The only suggestion we have is that the balcony furniture needs replacing since they are damaged from salt air and heavy usage. We would recommend this property and would consider booking again in the future.

We were looking for a quiet place to get away and just relax. We wanted a place with an unobstructed water view and easy access to the beach. This place was perfect for us! The kitchen was functional, the bed was comfy, everything was clean. The patio chairs were worn, but were still functional -- we spent a lot of time sitting out there drinking coffee. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return.

Rental unit could use upgrading...refrigerator leaky,oven set fire alarm off with no smoke or fire present,light under microwave is out,clothes washer has sour smell,second time here with palmeto roaches in kitchen! Cleaniness...gets a 2. Kitchen cabinets with spills on outside when we arrived. Refrigerater was dirty. Stained bed comforter.

We had an amazing stay! Would return. Amenities exactly as described. Luckily one of the pools was heated the week we visited it was too cold to go in the ocean. The kids had a blast in the pool and nice clean beach. Great sunsets.
Our only issue was being locked out of our room. The door system malfunctioned. Luckily it was easy to reach someone at 5:30 to come and manually open the door. The main room furniture was well worn/tired. Could use a good cleaning or upgrade.

The unit was cute and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Couches showed some wear but were nice enough. Kitchen had everything you could need. There were some pool and beach toys available in the unit which was a nice touch. Free in unit washer and dryer were super nice to have. The pools were nice and not at all crowded. The building was quiet and everyone seemed respectful of building rules and quiet hours, which is great when traveling with young kids. The beach is lovely and easily accessible with the boardwalk. The only drawback to the building is the air conditioning units are on the beach side of the building and they drown out the noise of the ocean which was a disappointment. Dauphin Island is a quiet, kind, and nice place to visit with no crazy spring breakers. Overall we had a great stay!

The ladies at the front desk were so helpful. The condo was so clean and had everything that we needed. We were on a trip with my grandsons Jr Beta and we went to the Aquarium and took the vessel so the children could learn more about the sea life. I would recommend this property to my friends. I really enjoyed our stay there. The view from the condo was just amazing to see the beach and hear the waves.

After our long drive and expecting a different onboarding process, we overcame the misunderstanding for unit access and were pleasantly surprised. The unit was very clean and accommodating. The view was gorgeous and the beach was exactly what we needed - a quiet break from the everyday with gentle waves and a cool breeze. The town was quaint, all local, and easy to get around. Perfect for a quiet vacation week.

I had never even heard of Dauphin Island until I started searching Gulf Shores, and realized how expensive and touristy it was. I looked west and found the island. It is like a hideout with plenty to do. Everything is paced slower, and this accommodates people looking to ‘just relax.’ Everything you need is there and only 40 mins from airport in Mobile.
