Good spot for a couple, or a family with a child or two. Quiet side street close to center of town, but also with easy access to the National Park - for which the hosts provided a complimentary access pass.

Location to park and downtown couldn’t be any better! The free park pass for the week was so nice!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this rental. Their home had everything we needed. It was clean, well-stocked and within walking distance to the heart of Bar Harbor. Acadia is a beautiful national park. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to the area.

It rained every morning with fog with a hurricane due in and left a day early so as not to have to drive out in the hurricane It’s to hard to change plans or almost impossible. We knew far enough ahead to cancel a hotel and that’s what it will be from now on.

This bungalow is perfectly nestled away on a side street with no more than a 12 minute walk to everywhere in Bar Harbor. It has all the basics and is a great place to land whilst spending the days exploring the island. We were traveling with our 1 year old and we felt comfortable with her in the house and the area. I would recommend for a couple or small family!

Nice little house. Perfect location.

What wonderful place to stay! It’s close to everything but far enough away that it’s quiet. My friend and I were extremely pleased with our accommodations and recommend it highly.

The property is situated right on the edge of town, just a few minute walk to the restaurants, shops, and ocean. The street is quiet and calm, friendly neighbors, and a quick left or right gets you into Acadia National Park within minutes. The owners are generous and provide a park pass to Acadia, very much appreciated!
The cottage has everything needed for a comfortable stay; having to air dry clothes ended up being fine. We did need to buy hand soap and garbage bags, not a big deal. A few upgrades in the bathroom would be nice, but overall the cottage was great and we would love to stay again.

My husband and I went to Bar Harbor for our honeymoon, and this was the perfect location! Close to the town and the national park, we had a blast! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

The property had everything we needed for our stay in Bar Harbor. We loved being able to walk lto town, and appreciated the quiet neighborhood. Having a washing machine on site was a plus. It was cool during our stay so we didn’t need AC, and there are fans provided. We would stay here again!

Cozy cottage and great location !
Everything was provided to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable get-away!

The location of this property was perfect to bar harbor and Acadia national park. Everything was very walkable, to restaurants and bars and shops. We also were able to walk to rent bicycles from the house. We were able to ride into Acadia national park. The carriage trails were perfect, no vehicle traffic. The house had everything that we needed for our stay. The only downside was there is no clothes dryer, just a washer. So if you’re planning on washing clothes after hiking, do it early, so it has enough time to air dry before you need them again.

This was the perfect home base for a Bar Harbor/Acadia NP vacation! 5-10 min walk to downtown & the harbor passing many restaurants and shops both via Cottage St and Mt Desert St. 5-10 min drive to Acadia. Quiet street and clean house!

We loved staying here during our vacation to Bar Harbor. It was conveniently located and walkable to our favorite restaurants. It was clean, quiet, and just perfect. It basically had everything we needed (we desperately needed a dryer after getting caught in the rain for a few days but it only has a washer so I'd say that was the only thing missing).

We loved the location of this cottage. A very quiet neighborhood within an easy walk to town. It was also super easy to access Acadia Nat'l Park from the cottage.
Comfortable home a nice kitchen and living room. Plenty of space for yoga.

This little cottage and it's host and owner, Kim, were amazing. Kim went above and beyond when we arrived. She helped us with our travel from the airport (we arrived after the car rental companies were closed for the night and there are not Uber/Lyft options) and she familiarized us with Bar Harbor and the cottage.
It is a short and easy walk into downtown Bar Harbor from the cottage, which is ideal given the challenges with parking in town. So fun to walk to dinner and the cute shops in the evenings. To get into Acadia NP from the cottage is a few minutes drive or bike ride, which is also super convenient.
The house is modest, but had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, a hot shower, a kitchen for making breakfast and packing lunches to eat in the Park and a comfy living room where we could relax at the end of the day. I would definitely consider staying here again.
We had the trip of a lifetime!

Most was great! Only a couple complaints, not enough supply of toilet paper, hand and dish soap. Had to purchase my own, sadly. Another expense. What I spent on that I was saved on an unexpected national park pass for the week! Great surprise! Location is wonderful, don't have to worry about parking downtown, you can just walk. A couple dirty dishes I re-washed, somehow they got put away in the cupboard. Crap happens. Bathroom sink backs up pretty easily and shower needs tending to regularly for the same reason. If you don't want to do what you do at home, stay at a hotel I guess.
My children and I had a wonderful stay. Would certainly recommend.

Owners were very responsive to questions. We really appreciated the park pass with the house. We were thankful for the fans last week with the heat and humidity at the house.

Perfect for an active family of four! We made breakfast in the kitchen before leaving each morning to explore Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. I especially appreciated the “essentials” - food storage containers to store leftovers, multiple hooks in the hallway and bathroom to hang damp towels and clothing, with space to set aside multiple pairs of footwear. Easy walk to downtown, Bar Island - perfect for avoiding the parking situation. Can’t top this location!

Love This Cottage
This is our second stay at this cottage and we love it. The house was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's clean and the owners are very attentive to emails. The location to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia cannot be beat!

Great stay in Bar Harbor
My family of 4 stayed here and had a great time. The house was perfect for what we needed while in the area. It’s a great location for both exploring Acadia National Park as well as a short walking distance to town. It was especially easy for renting bikes and then getting to the location for the shuttle bus into the park and exploring the carriage roads.
The check in/out process was super easy and the owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. When we arrived, the owners had provided a week pass for the park which saved us some time at the visitors center. It got a little warm in the house at the end of a hot day, but the provided fans were enough to keep us cool.
Overall, we enjoyed our time at the house and would certainly stay here again if we were back in the area.

Perfect stay!
My husband and I stayed for a week and loved the location of this house! The street is quiet but within a quick walk to downtown. It was the perfect size for the two of us to cook meals and have some downtime between hiking and exploring Bar Harbor. We will definitely be booking again when we come back!

Perfect location!
Great little get-away. Just blocks from downtown. Everything was neat and tidy - nothing fancy but quite cozy and very clean. The owners gifted us a pass to the park for the week so that was a great surprise!
An additional mirror would be nice so there is more than one spot to get ready.
Overall, this is a great little house!

Great time in Bar Harbor!
This was our first time visiting Bar Harbor and it did not disappoint. This adorable cottage was in a great location and we definitely got our steps in. It was in great proximity to Acadia and made exploring the park easy. It was nice to return for a break before exploring town. The cottage had everything you would need to cook or just relax. My only complaint was the tub drain backed up even though we cleaned the drain daily, otherwise, no complaints.
Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We had a great stay at this property. Roomy, great location, and thoughtful hosts who provided lots of info on the area. Only negative would be the bathroom could use an update.

An easy walk to any spot in town. Tiny but more than adequate for our stay...gone hiking most days. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked with pots, pans, dishware.
Should add 2nd parking spot; easy enough to do.

Comfortable, clean, convenient
Centrally located for easy (walking) access to Bar Harbor and as a little home to come back to when exploring further afield. Very clean...comfortable bed...cozy renai heater (our visit went into October)...full kitchen with everything we needed provided...contact free check-in and out...I would definitely recommend this rental.

Perfect spot in Bar Harbor
Kim and Andy’s house in Bar Harbor is a perfect getaway spot - it is convenient to the shops, sights, and restaurants of downtown without being in the hustle of the tourist hotspot.
Access to Acadia National Park is also very convenient. We were out the door and to the base of Cadillac Mountain or Jordan Pond in minutes.
The house was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to cook for ourselves to avoid eating out every meal.
I highly recommend this vacation rental and will prioritize checking their availability when I return to Acadia.

Perfect for us- roomy for family, not so big you spend a lot of time cleaning. Designed to make a vacation easy and tidy. Excellent walking distance to town, kitchen outfitted for cooking, coffee. Road/sidewalks convenient for park entrances, carriage roads and crossing over to "quiet side" as well as grocery, cafes and downtown shopping in Bar Harbor. Three TV's and children's dvds if staying in, grill on porch. Front windows needed help closing and water noise through pipes pretty noticeable from smaller bedroom. Can't say this will always happen, but wow! A 7 day park pass was waiting for us when we arrived, how nice! Some walls dated, others look brand spanking new- like living room walls and rug. Clean!, lots of bathroom towels, secure front door, lighted street at night so felt safe. Parking for one car.
