Nestled in Saly, this charming villa for $104 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. All shops within 5 mins walk, and beaches within 10 mins walk The villa of approximately 180 square meters is from 2016. It offers a capacity of 6/8 beds maximum (3 double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room) It is guarded 24- 24h by the caretaker who has his own studio Permanently hot and cold water, 1000L reserve if water cut off. ADSL Wifi (Orange) Magnificent swimming pool of over 60 square meters. On the ground floor: large living room dining room with flat screen and air-conditioned master suite of more than 40 square meters with double sink bathroom and walk-in shower. A large covered terrace (55 square meters) facing the swimming pool, including an American kitchen (fridge, microwave, gas stove, coffee maker, fan, toaster ...), an outdoor dining room, a WC for guests; A washing machine. A magnificent private swimming pool with outdoor lounge. Upstairs: 2 other air-conditioned bedrooms with terrace, large bathroom with double sinks and walk-in shower and separate WC All rooms and terraces overlook the swimming pool. Kitchen items and full meals. Sheets and towels provided. Cleaning after your departure is included. Electricity extra on meter reading. Our contact can meet you at the airport. It was a perfect vacation spot for us in Senegal. The pool, the outdoor kitchen and the city and beach in walking distance was a ideal location to have the choice between:
explore the area and the beaches or just chill the whole day at the house and by the pool.
The owners were also very friendly, and fast with the responses when we had contact. Also the security man Maurice was super nice and a pleasure to meet.

Pourtant cela aurait pu être parfait
Belle maison, belles grandes pièces, piscine parfaite et bien entretenue, au calme, gardien exceptionnel, disponibilité, gentillesse, discret.....mais....l'imposition d'une femme de ménage d'un très faible niveau, 30% (6500 cfa/jour au lieu de 5000) plus chère que la moyenne de Saly souvent au repos et systématiquement en retard (10h, arrivée, 16 h départ) du coup la propreté de cette belle villa n'est pas au rendez-vous, loin de là, miroirs sales, baies vitrés jamais lavés, les mêmes draps 12 jours sans être changés serviettes de bain non plus et j'en passe, la liste est plus importante. Dommage pour cette belle maison, mais la présence imposée de cette dame est rédhibitoire, donc si cette dame est toujours imposée ( dans le contrat en toutes lettres elle est la seule autorisée) je ne louerai plus cette villa, et je la déconseille, dommage, en 15 ans de Sénégal je n'avais jamais vu cela.

Villa magnifique avec tout le confort proche des petits commerces et de la plage, nous avons passés un séjour inoubliable la piscine est sublime et très grande. Maurice le gardien est un ange. Il va nous manquer. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs, à l écoute et d une grande gentillesse.
Merci infiniment nous reviendrons très vite sans hésiter.

Villa et quartier très agréables
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La villa est spacieuse et confortable. Elle est située dans un quartier calme et agréable proche de tous commerces, services et loisirs (la mer se situe à 10 minutes à pieds). Les propriétaires sont disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous recommandons cette location.

Nous sommes de retour et nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
Merci à Awa pour sa très bonne cuisine et son sourire, merci à Maurice pour sa discrétion et gentillesse, et merci aussi à notre guide Zal pour nous avoir fait découvrir ce pays.
La maison est très agréable paisible proche du centre et de la plage, nous avons eu de très bons moments en famille autour de la piscine après les excursions pour nous relaxer sur les transats.
Restaurant chez Yvon très sympa, enfin les informations et conseils des propriétaires nous ont été très précieux pour nous faciliter notre séjour.

séjour agréable malgré une annonce pas du tout en phase avec la réalité.
les photos de l’annonce ne sont plus ce qui est en réalité, housses des transats, décolorées, vieilli, plusieurs équipements vieillissant, portes moustiquaires à refaire, poignée porte entrée à refixer... pour ne citer que cela !
la villa a grand besoin de petits travaux qui malheureusement font toute la différence et peuvent nuire au séjour. Quel dommage qu’un réel contrôle et entretien ne soit pas fait avant l’arrivée !!
Christophe est resté à l’écoute et a palier à certains points lors de notre séjour.
Pour conclure vu le prix, la qualité n’y est pas pour nous, il y a des efforts & travaux à réaliser pour revenir à ce que les photos montrent.

DU RÊVE À LA RÉALITÉ !
Bien que la maison soit agréable et fonctionnelle, nous avons eu la désagréable surprise de découvrir que le ménage n'avait pas été fait avant notre arrivée : poubelle non vidée, torchon sale, reste de citrons et essui- tout usagé dans la cuisine, serviettes élimées à la propreté plus que douteuse, propreté des draps laissant à désirer (tâches).
De plus, les photos sur le site ne correspondent plus à la réalité des choses, le soleil et les intempéries ayant délavé les coussins des transats et des chaises et la propreté douteuse de ces différents coussins ne nous a guère incité à nous prélasser au bord de la piscine ou sur la terrasse.
Enfin, le jour de notre arrivée (vers 18h) nous n'avons pu que déplorer l'absence d'une bouteille d'eau dans le frigo, pas même de papier toilette dans aucun des wc.
Juste à titre d'information la bouilloire électrique ne fonctionnait pas.
Après un contact avec les propriétaires, ceux ci ont dépêché la femme de ménage pour nous changer les draps et les serviettes mais pour le reste elle n'a rien pu faire.
En l'état, je ne la recommande pas!

Je recommande cette villa et surtout ne pas se passer d'awa qui prend soin de tout le monde, Sa cuisine est succulente.
Nous avons eu un souci avec la piscine, j'ai contacté le propriétaire et le problème à été résolu directement.

Malgré que nous avons réserver en moins de 24h, toutes à étais impeccables, à partir de l accueil de Maurice jusqu'à rendre la clé. la villa est à proximité de tout ce qu'on avait besoin, Maurice est très professionnel et discret répondra à vos besoin du jour comme de nuit, quelqu'un de très gentil et serviable. La villa est identique à toutes les photos sur l annonce, voir le matériel aussi, une autre remarque, la qualité d eau de la piscine est très bonne par rapport à beaucoup d'autres résidences que nous avons déjà visité au par avant. Vraiment on est très content de ce séjour magnifique, merci encore

Accueil super ,maison très confortable ,pour la cuisine et le ménage Awa a été au top sans parler de Maurice qui est au petit soins et toujours présent quand on a besoin de quelque chose des belles personnes ,les propriétaires sont aussi très facile à joindre ce qui ai rare ,pour résumer c'est une adresse à recommander,merci a tous pour cette semaine de vacance . Très bon séjour!
La maison est très bien, grande et propre (faudra marcher un peu pour arriver à la plage +/- 15 min).
La piscine est superbe et les enfants en ont bien profité.
Un grand merci à Awa qui nous a chouchouté durant ce séjour, elle s'est occupée du ménage et nous a concocté de meilleurs petits plats (langoustes, poulpes, daurade... on s'est régalé avec les produits des pêcheurs locaux).
Seuls bémols, nous n'avons jamais réussi à faire fonctionner le décodeur orange pour la TV et l'eau de la piscine n'est pas toujours clean.
Nous recommandons biensûr cette villa!

Séjour sublime
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour entre amis grâce à la qualité de la villa somptueuse, spacieuse, bien aménagée et une piscine de taille adaptée pour notre amis Jean François super nageur.
Les abords sont bien entretenu par le gardien Maurice ainsi que la piscine (taille approximative 10m x 5m x 1.40m de profondeur) qui a une eau bien claire et le carrelage bien propre.
Maurice est très discret et toujours prêt à nous conduire pour faire quelques courses.
Awa est une cuisinière hors paire et discrète, elle nous a fait les courses pour la cuisine typique du pays et nous a appris à bien épicer nos plats nous nous sommes régalé tout au long du séjour.
Le ménage est très bien fait et rapidement.
Pour les visites locales Zal notre Guide touristique, nous a bien dirigé et mis à disposition Paco comme chauffeur ( indispensable car il n'y a pas ou peux de panneaux indicatifs de directions dans la brousse).
Pour finir nous avions régulièrement la masseuse Abi qui est voisine de la villa donc facile de l'appeler.Elle nous a refait une santé.
Pour conclure nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnelle.
MERCI à Lucile et Christophe pour tous les conseils fournis par papier,cela nous a vraiment facilité le séjour pour lequel nous sommes partis les yeux fermé.
Séjour exceptionnel, mémorable et inoubliable que nous renouvellerons sûrement .

Je vais au Sénégal chaque année depuis 2012 et j’ai passé d’excellentes vacances dans cette villa (voir les meilleures). La villa est très agréable et conforme aux photos.
Le seul bémol est la cuisine à l’extérieur car nous avons eu beaucoup de vent, ce qui amenait énormément de poussière.
A part cela, Maurice le gardien était très disponible et de plus disposait d’une voiture et Awa très gentille. Je recommande cette villa sans hésitation.

The perfect vacation home.
Beautiful lager home. Well maintained and spotless. Beautiful large pool. Maurice and Awa made our stay even better. My kids played outside with the local kids and begged me every day if they can go back. Walking distance to shops, bakery’s, and restaurants. Definitely a great place to stay with a large group or couple.

The house has everything you need during a holiday and nothing you would fear your children could accidentally destroy - so it was just perfect for us! Congrats to the architect - the simple construction of the house is ideal for Senegalese climate. We couldn't take the kids out of the pool for hours ( the pool is perfect - not too small, not too shallow, not to deep) and our son learnt how to swim and dive just by himself whithin a few days while our daughter (7) mastered her skills incredibly! The house is located in the middle of the rural part of Saly, not in the district where most of the 'white' houses are situated which was a great advantage for us as we are not very fond of tourist centres:). You are close enough to the beach (within a walking distance or - if it's really hot - just get a private 'taxi' and be in the beach in 5 minutes, for a minimum fee plus a nice chance to chat with the driver) , you are also close enough to the stores (don't focus on the French supermarket with diary imported from France- there are local stores like 50m from the house where you can get everything needed for a Senegalese simple lunch! Try Senegalese rice, not Chinese!). When you leave the private heaven of the house (pool with always warm water due to the proper positioning toward the sun and always clear water thanks to regular work of Maurice) you step right into Saly's rural friendly community with children playing in the dust, goats ready to eat leftovers of your lunch, people working, praying or resting etc. I highly recommend the local tailor's workshop next to the house. We all returned with a totally new and colourful wardrobe made within a blink of an eye from extraordinary wax cotton batiks (get them in Mbour market and bargain hard:)). Very soon you feel a part of the community and enjoy the night street snacks (Ramadan) prepared by Saly's women and sold right outside their houses behind the corner. Speaking of food: Senegalese cuisine is incredible! Spicy and simple, made from the freshest ingredients (shrimps! fish! vegetables and fruits !). And Awa will prepare the best of it for you if you just tell her to cook like she would for her family. Awa is a talented cook and we still miss all the specialities we ate for 2 weeks. We send our kindest regards and thanks to Awa, Maurice and Zal -your are all great!
