Nestled in Ono Island, this charming condo for $634 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. **Balcony renovation project at Phoenix IX from 10/15/23 - 3/15/24. From 7:30am to 5pm there will be significant noise from jack hammering.** Phoenix IX 1503 Keyless entry door lock so you do not have to keep up with any keys during your stay!! Free Wifi !! Phoenix IX is one of the newest and most luxurious condominiums on the Gulf! You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the unit. With over 1,570 sq ft the unit is very spacious and newly furnished. This is a 'premium' unit offered to you at below the 'select' unit prices!!! We have installed all new furniture as of 11/14/18!!! Amenities are abundant at this Phoenix IX condo: the unit is appointed with full-size appliances, wet bar with ice maker, 48” flat screen HDTV in living room with wall mounted 32” TVs in the bedrooms, laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a King bed in the Master bedroom and a King in the second bedroom, there is also a Queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. There is an outdoor pool with a secured kiddy pool, heated in-door swimming pool on the 7th floor with incredible views, two Jacuzzi's, state-of-the-art fitness center, and an indoor tennis court. There is a 25 year old minimum age limit to reserve the unit which will be enforced with no refund for violation. Your vacation will be complete at Phoenix IX with all of the amenities, the beach and luxurious accommodations. Overall our stay was great. Great view to the South and West, the condo on the eastside of this condo sticks out further than this one and blocks the view to the East. Condo overall was in good shape, but had a lot of minor maintenance issues. Lights burnt out, floor base tile taped to wall, toilets didn't flush right, had to hold the handle down. The bed in the second bedroom was great nice and firm. Overall a great rip no issues that took away from our fun experience.

Everything about the condo was absolutely perfect!! The views of the gulf were beautiful!! We watched the dolphins swim each morning and evening from the balcony. Would recommend staying at this condo!!! One suggestion I have is listing the types of beach umbrellas/shade that meets requirements of the beach. We had a Sun Ninja everyday we were on the beach. On the last day it was an issue. Condo security came to us and said if Beach Patrol asks us to move we will have to. Beach Patrol came and said technically the Sun Ninja didn’t meet requirements but we had no where to go farther back and not be in the way of emergency vehicles and we were fine to stay in the spot we had set up. Around 4pm Orange Beach Police came said they wouldn’t make us move at 4pm but wanted us to know….we explained what Beach Patrol said and he was good with that. Beach Patrol also suggested a Cool Cabana to meet requirements over a Sun Ninja. Early evening a family with a Cool Cabana came out. We talked to them about the issue. They said last year they were told the Cool Cabana did not meet requirements even though it only has one pole that goes in the sand. Clarifying what IS and IS NOT Beach acceptable would be great to avoid the drama we experienced yesterday. Trying to prevent sunburn should not create so much beach drama.

The condo was spacious and perfect location for us! The beach was not over crowded. The condo needs a little attention (minor repairs and a deep cleaning). I am assuming it has been rented nonstop this summer, so I guess it’s expected! They had some mildew/mold in the second bathroom around the vent on the ceiling and the sleeper couch was disgusting (food crumbs, toys, and dead bugs) when we pulled it out to make the bed up to sleep in. I would stay here again because these things didn’t ruin our trip!! We were very happy with the space and location.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was a bit dated. The fridge was not clean. There was a used bar of soap and 2 used hairbrushes in the 2nd bathroom. The washing machine had a lot of liquid detergent splattered about the tub. The 2 maintenance issues were taken care of quickly. The location was nice.

We would rate this property in the lower half of beach condos used in the past 30+ years. While the property met most of our expectations (proximity to beach, comfortable, well-decorated, clean, etc), the absence of functional tv remotes due to dead batteries, inadequate supply of hand towels and wash clothes, nonfunctioning lamps in the living area, the limited quantity and quality of kitchen utensils, and poorly flushing toilets were a constant source of annoyance.

The property overall was great, it had a beautiful view and the condo was good. It could use a little updates on the bedding and the throw pillows. They need to add a few storage bowls to the dishes, but other than that it was an awesome place.

We had an amazing 3 night vacation at Phoenix IX. The condo was very clean, very nice furniture, comfy beds, great bathrooms, beautiful views from this top floor condo. The parking was no problem and close to elevators. Plenty of carts to help take your stuff up. The people at the front desk, where we paid for our parking pass. were very nice and friendly. We were provided ahead of time very precise and easy instructions for the unit. I really have nothing negative to say about this property. Definitely would rent again if it’s available.

The chairs on the balcony need to replaced ASAP. We spent a lot of time on the balcony in the evenings the chairs are years past their prime The mattresses need to be replaced today.. other than those two issues this condo is fabulous. Especially if you are there for the BEACH. Beautifully decorated for a beach stay. Ice maker in wet bar is one ice making beast! Never were we out of ice! Great condo!

At the very least the furniture should be removed and replaced with plastic furniture so guests can enjoy the patio.

Over all the stay was wonderful. The only thing I would recommend to the property owner is to replace the mattresses. They are very hard and dented from use. Also all the patio furniture is lopsided from the legs rusting out and breaking. Other than that the unit was very clean and can’t wait to visit again in the future!
