About this house rental
Situated in Homer, this charming house for $811 per night is a great option for your next break. Magnificent setting! Right on Kachemak Bay, with stairs accessing the beach during Spring and Summer months. See our changes! We have added a 3rd bedroom to this lovely home. The Seafarers Beach House, a 1700 sq ft home, is artfully decorated with Seafaring themes. On the main floor, overlooking the Bay is a fully appointed kitchen, cozy living room, complete with large screen TV for enjoying the game, a full bathroom with laundry, and, a bedroom with a King bed. A spacious deck, with lounge chairs and a BBQ grill, is accessed from the living room. For a small additional fee, a lovely cabin in the yard provides a getaway for 2 with a queen bed in the loft. Cabin guests share the downstairs bath in the main home. The Cabin is not available for independent rentals. On the 2nd floor, you will find two bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, and a variety of books. The second bedroom has a King bed or can be converted to 2 extra long twins. Both rooms have lovely views of the boats passing on the bay. Watch eagles soar by at window height. A truly special place.

The pictures don’t do justice to the amazing water view. We had two teenagers and during our 5 day stay they didn’t even turn the tv on. That’s saying something. They loved walking the beach and being outside. We came to go fishing and the location was so close to Homer spit it made the early morning drive a breeze. Connie was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to insure we had everything we needed for our stay.

The views were spectacular! We saw eagles nearly everyday from the deck. The changing hues of the glacier were breathtaking. The house was very comfortable with every amenity provided. There was plenty of room for our family and the location was perfect. We have made so many family memories. We cannot wait to come back!

We had a great stay at this home. Everything was extremely clean, and it was a perfect location for us. It was a great base to go on day trips and a perfect place to enjoy a rainy afternoon. The views were incredible and we only wished we’re could’ve stayed longer.

The title says it all. We cooked must meals on site and everything we needed was there for cooking from pots and pans to spices and oils and lots of dishes.
We were eight friends traveling together- 3 couples and two singles. There was room for all of us but because the two singles couldn’t share a room, one of them slept on sleeping pads. It worked but wasn’t ideal.
Connie, the property manager was quick to respond to questions and was very helpful.

Bucket list trip for our 60th anniversary with our son and family. The house was clean, supplied well and a fantastic view. Very comfortably even with 6 adults and 2 teens. The little house was a perfect addition. Our host Connie was seond to none. Very responsive.

This property was perfect for our group. Very clean and nice amenities, but can't beat the view! Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the porch were perfect ways to start and end days packed with fishing, hiking, and just exploring Homer and the Spit.
Comfortable beds are also a big plus.

We have stayed in many VRBOs in beautiful locations, but this one blew us away. We have never witnessed a more beautiful, scenic view! Sitting on the back deck, taking in the scenery, was one of our most favorite things to do. Everything in the inside is perfectly appointed as well. Beds so comfortable with great linens and pillows. I wish we could have stayed longer. Connie was a dream to interact with. Highly recommend!

Nice house in a great location
Nice big bedrooms with king size beds. newer house, nicely furnished with everything you need for an extended stay. Bayfront location, gorgeous view of the mountains and glaciers and an eagle the like roost in the big tree outside the front door. The kids had fun exploring the beach and mudflats, and the adults enjoyed the shady porch overlooking the bay. A great place to stay, and w would definitely recommend to our friends.

We LOVED our relaxing stay at the Seafarer's Beach House. It was perfect for our group of 6. Beautiful mountain and water front views. And we got to see eagles and sea otters too!

I knew by the photos on VRBO I had found a gem, but it was even better in person. My husband smiled and said this was the perfect place. The view from the couch, kitchen window, upstairs bedrooms......we were wowed. Eagles, harbor seals, ducks, and one pheasant were such treats. The few times we needed a little warmth, the gas heater came right on. Peaceful solitude for reading or napping. Kitchen had all that I needed to make our traditional travel meal of Frito Pie Casserole with Frito Salad. The upper bedroom

This property is amazing. Being able to see the spectacular views from every window is simply wonderful. Peeking out the windows watching the sea otters play off the shore. This home has everything you need to make al of your meals. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay. This is one of the cleanest VRBO rentals I have ever been to. The house has everything you need and more. Can’t think of better location in Homer, close to the Spit, grocery store and restaurants. Very accommodating host. We will definitely come back!
