Friendly host with plenty of helpful hints on where to eat dinner etc. the host also allowed us to check in early which was extremely helpful

Great! As described! Couple things to note however, there are only two beds that hold a couple, the rest are singles. You can see this from the pictures:). Host respond quickly! Neighborhood is very quiet and great views. Thank you

We waited two years to finally make it to Homer. My family praised me on this fantastic find. I can’t say enough good about the owners. They are very kind and accommodating people. The communication was great, the views fantastic! Whole heartedly recommend this fantastic home and lovely owners.

Our entire group of 8 loved this house and the layout. The view was amazing! It’s difficult to want to leave with such a view. The house was very clean and there were many small details that made it even better. The hosts were easy to work with and checking in and out was easy. We enjoyed our 3 nights but wish it could have been longer.

This home was perfect for our group of 9 adults. The view is incredible and we spent part of our evenings talking on the deck viewing the mountains and bay. The accommodations were large enough for us to eat together and play games. It’s really convenient to the Homer spit where all the charter boats leave, and to other stores for supplies. The owners are great and made everything convenient. Highly recommend.

Doug and Gloria made our first Alaskan experience even better. Easy process from start to finish and super easy to work with…it was almost like I was checking into my own home! Doug recommended North Country Charters to us for Halibut fishing and they didn’t disappoint either! Highly recommended for your Homer stay!

We stayed here for three nights with two families, including 6 kids. It was perfect. The views were amazing from the front porch. The house was clean and very ideal for two families with the upstairs and downstairs. Thank you for the cookies you left. We enjoyed the sand hill crane in the yard everyday. This house felt like a gem of a find, small reminders here and there of things my grandparents had in their home. We stayed in four different VRBOs during our vacation and this was my favorite. Thank you!

Though furniture is older, it was comfortable enough for our time there. The location is ideal for fishing with charters. And our infant grandson had everything he needed to make his stay comfortable.

Beautiful view of the mountains and Spit. Very comfortable house to stay in. Clean and quiet. Sand Cranes flew into the yard every day. I would highly recommend this home away from home house to enjoy Alaska!! Thank you Doug and Gloria!!!
