Situated in Manasota Key, this attractive house for $528 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. See VIDEO for walk-through views! Tropical island private home with pool on Manasota Key, with access to your own beach on the Gulf of Mexico and fishing (not boating) dock on Lemon Bay (less than a block from each). Newly screened-in pool; gas grill; House has tile floors throughout; Central air and ceiling fans in every room (or turn off the A/C, open the windows, and listen to the sea); all kitchen appliances and washer/dryer; Beds include one king, one queen, two full, and the sun-room's pull-out couch makes a queen size bed; Master Suite is connected to the main house, but has its own bath and exterior door to a separate garden; Games, Book-exchange, Cable, WIFI Internet; Fishing poles, beach bikes, beach chairs, toys, and more; fully furnished with kitchen ware and linens. As teachers, this home is very child friendly, including games, toys, a booster seat, and pack-n-play. Yoga on the beach every morning, just a bike-ride (supplied) away! Upper veranda on garage gives a lovely view of the gulf. Our semi-private beach has been restored, just across the road! The garage holds many toys and extras, and may be used to house your bikes and/or small car. Four beaches are as close as 1.2 miles and all within 5 miles! NOTE: Roof repair (damage from Hurricane Ian) may occur 5/14-5/19 - so 40% discount those days.

My family and I enjoyed our time. The property owners were very responsive and communicated with us as needed. Location to the bay and beach were a short walk away. The pool was refreshing during the hot afternoons! A few updates to the pool area and guest rooms would make this perfect. I recommend this property to a family or couples wanting a relaxing beach vacation.

Overall this property is really great- especially if you have a large family with adults and older children. It was especially nice to have a private pool right outside the door! We had access to an abundance of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. which was much appreciated. Really, my only complaint is the distance to the beach. It isn’t a *far* walk but I wouldn’t consider it a short one- certainly not a convenient one if you left something behind. When my children were small this distance would have been a deal breaker for me, however with adults and older children it is manageable and we made the trip several times a day. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and there was plenty of space for all of us (4 adults, 3 kids). The beach wasn’t crowded and it was a nice, quiet vacation that we all enjoyed!

The property is perfect for family and has EVERYTHING you need for a Florida vacation! The open living room/kitchen/dining area so spacious. The pool outside the kitchen is a so perfect for a day at home instead of the beach. And just a short walk to beach and AWESOME fishing dock.

Everything you need for a beautiful relaxing vacation, is exactly what you get with this gorgeous home. The short walk to the beach everyday, was our favorite. The pool was so refreshing after a hot day. The home is as listed, plenty of room for a family, and very comfortable for us as a couple. We will definitely return.

Judy and Jim will restore your faith in hosts if it is lost! Great home with all the amenities needed. It truly felt like we were staying in a home instead of a rental. From the bike tires being pumped to the pool heater on, this place was ready to enjoy the moment we turned the key. Easy access to the beach and pier, our family enjoyed it all.

This house is in the perfect location-so close to the beach and the dock to Lemon Bay for fishing-yet tucked in so you still have privacy. Shopping, groceries, golfing, and restaurants are all close by as well. The semi private beach was not crowded at all which was the best! We had plenty of room in the house for our family of 5 plus 2 more family members that came to visit for a few days. The house had all the essentials. The screened in pool was amazing and definitely a hit with the kids. The owners were pleasant and prompt at responding to all of my questions both before booking and after. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Enjoyed ourselves
Jim and Judy were wonderful. Judy walked my kids to both beaches so we would know the way. Jim was telling me about future improvements. It'll be even nicer next year. My family found lots of shark teeth and some sea glass and shells. Do these nice hosts a favor and leave the teeth in the porch.

Semi-Private beach with breathtaking sunsets
The hosts are wonderful and accommodating. Description and photos of the beach house are accurate. Clean, smells nice, very roomy and comfortable beds. Full kitchen and also an outside grill. Nice screened in pool to enjoy if you’re not relaxing on the beach. We were able to visit the beach a few times a day since it is located just across the street. The beach is not crowded, and the people are very friendly. Good restaurants and shops nearby.

Perfect beach and chill house
The house is spread out which allows the family to be together but not driving each other crazy. The pool is great and perfect for large family. I love the location of the home as it is a short walk to the beach and dock on the river. We had no complaints from anyone in the family. Would recommend this home and would love to come again.

Thanks for the good time! It was too cold to use the pool, but it was nice that it was there. The hosts were accessible when we had questions, location was exactly what we wanted. Nice to be close to a private beach access and the dock. Overall, great trip.

January stay at Manasota Key
This was the perfect house for my family for this vacation Jan 8-15. The house was well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils. The bedrooms were supplied with extra pillows and blankets.
The pool and deck were wonderful, Everything was clean, and the hosts were very easy to contact. They responded immediately when we had a question

Very spacious-easily fit our family of 7 and visitors. Great location-close to the beach and shopping/ restaurants. Pool is a highlight too! The only reason for 4 star overall rating is because the bathrooms needed more cleaning attention.

This was our first time staying at a house and not a hotel. We will be staying at a house from now on! Private pool and beach were amazing!!! House was very clean and well stocked with needed items. Owners were easy to communicate with.

So many beaches have become commercial. Manasota Key still has the old Florida charm. Jim and Judy were great to work with and provided a respite for our family.

The location of this property is great. Easy walking distance to the beach and the dock. We enjoyed the beach and the pool is also really nice. Old Florida at its Best
Larger than it looks online plenty of space we split with my sister and her family. A total of 8 people and had plenty of space to sleep and relax at that same time. Love that the matter suite closes off from the rest of the house for early sleepers. The pool was perfect and the new screen cover was definitely worth the investment. The owners are courteous and respected our privacy such wonderful hosts! They were immediately available to answer an questions as well. The house came stocked as expected with plenty of towels and bedding, and but of everything to get you started. Grocery is not far at all and neither is a convince store. I would highly recommend Jim and Judy to families looking for a relaxing spacious home close enough but not in the heart of it all. Private beach access is a bonus too. Thanks again Judy for making us feel like family. Excited to come back soon.

Wonderful vacation
This is a great family place! The pool-definitely a highlight- was warm and has steps to make it easy for the little ones to play and get in and out. Our 1.5 y/o, and almost 5 & 7 y/o really enjoyed the pool and also the children's books, toys and games. the short walk to the beach was very doable. We were blessed with beautiful weather while we were there, so no complaints. Jim & Judy were great. Thanks! We hope to come back!

Nice Family Getaway
Had a great time at the house, worked well for family with small kids, beach was close walk and made it easy to pop over for short time and enjoy the ocean. Beach was not crowded and the pool was wonderful to enjoy as well.
