About this house rental
Nestled in Emerald Isle, this lovely house for $423 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Recently remodeled modern duplex on the Oceanside 5 minute walk to the beach. Great living area with a state-of-the-art kitchen that has stainless appliances, is stocked for a chef, and has a granite countertop that functions as a working and eating bar. There is also a separate dining area. The living room has a large gas log fireplace and a 50" flat screen TV with cable, internet, WiFi, and a DVD player. The first floor has 2 bedrooms (one King Bed and one Queen Bed). Bath has a large walk-in shower. Outside has a 14'x24' screened porch with a hot and cold shower as well as a separate 14'x14' sun deck. The second floor has 2 bedrooms (each with super-quiet HVAC split system for individual comfort settings): one with Queen Bed and one "Kids Retreat" bedroom with 2 daybeds+trundles, plenty of room for activity, and puzzles and toys provided. The upstairs bathroom is large with a deep tub and spray shower. The owner's artwork and other surprises are found throughout the house.

What can I say, the house has everything we needed. Good location and great communication with the host. It was the perfect house for our little kids.

This property is well maintained and is dog friendly which is a "plus" in our household. The Owner and Property Manager were very responsive to our questions and made us feel right at home. We found the location convenient to the beach as well as to the retail and entertainment areas of the island. Lots of nice "extras" are provided such as beach chairs, beach cart and gas fired grille. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Peter Pan House"

Very pleased with accommodations. Kitchen had all appropriate tools and appliances. Marsha gave very good instructions regarding the rules and expectations of her guests.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, unique cottage near the beach. The house was well stocked and comfortable. We really enjoyed the screened in back porch and the beautiful beach near by. The home was located conveniently near grocery stores and restaurants but sat far enough off the road that it was pretty quite and separated from neighbors by hedges/trees. Marsha was very responsive to a couple of issues that we had and took care of everything in a timely manor.

Great house with 2 nice size bedrooms and a roomy living room /kitchen all on main floor with shared full bath. And two more generous size bedrooms upstairs and shared full bath. Lovely. Home. Looks newly remodeled and updated. Got a Quick response from owner when we lost the internet temporarily.

Note Golf Carts are illegal on Emerald Dr (Main Drag) although the house is very close to access side street James Dr—but cops do give out tickets for Golf Carts on Emerald Drive. Owner indicated there are attempts to change the rules for some groups of people on EI. TBD.
Plenty of nice parking area at house even though 1/2 of it is for downstairs renters.
I would rent this house again easily. (Also its very close to my sisters home!)

Nice place to stay just down the street from the beach. Extremely enjoyed the back porch for my coffee/reading and hanging out with the our little dogs. All it needs is a porch fan. It was peaceful.

The 1st thing that we loved was the layout of the home. Having 3 children, the youngest only 2, we were worried about having separation between families so that everyone could have quiet time and we were pleasantly surprised at how the layout provided that privacy. The beach was a short walk which did get a little bit cumbersome with all the kiddos but it wasn't anything that we weren't prepared for. The response time of our host was amazing anytime we needed anything she was a short phone call away. Love this place and hope to return in the future!

We were only able to stay a short weekend for a family members wedding but we will be staying at this home again! It was beautifully decorated, conveniently located to beach, stocked with everything you could imagine for a family. This house is roomy with 4 bedrooms, cozy screened in back porch, & a awesome kitchen. This is the best VRBO we’ve ever rented.

Not good. Caked up grime on the two wooden chairs on the arms in the living room, coffee machine didn’t work, frying pan worn out, no lighting on back porch, killed about 3 roaches, no ceiling fans anywhere, 2 rooms no tv’s. I’m just disappointed in myself could have had a much bigger house on the water for the same price. I do not recommend anyone to stay there. Whoever supposedly cleans up does a very poor job.

Well it was 2/3 of a mile not a bad walk but you carry chairs tarp towels snacks phone sun screen toys a 6 yr old it was not an easy walk so we thought we could bring out golf car which it is insurance and regist for state of N C and got a $50 fine

This is a great house with plenty of room for everybody!! Beds were super comfy, loved the floor plan---two bedrooms downstairs, (not a lot of stairs in general for a beach house). This is artist-owned and there are so many cool special touches--a porthole, a mural or two, very cool art and decor. It is off the main road which I didn;t realize at first but that wasn't a problem for us as we had other family there who live there. Awesome screened porch on back! The only areas for improvement might be seating in the main living area that was a little more comfortable (some of us are old!!!) and a ceiling fan outside on the porch. Otherwise, this place is stocked and ready to go. Awesome linens, cool A/C and more. Super great host, love that there were beach chairs, toys for the kids, games etc. One of our best beach trips ever.

This is the first time we visited emerald isle. We are very happy with everything. The house has everything we need, a short walk away to the beach and absolutely gorgeous beach.
Wish we could stay longer, but we will definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, quiet, everyone had a place to sleep, we didn't feel cramped, and we never ran out of hot water (which is rare)! We especially loved the screened-in porch (with shower) and deck. The walk to the beach was short and enjoyable, with easy access. We had four generations of family with us, and all ages had a great time!

This property had ample room inside for my family of six. The beds were comfortable, the WiFi was reliable and the kitchen was well equipped. The beach was a short 7 minute walk. The outside yard area was a bit small for my large dog but would be fine for a smaller pup. Owner was easy to contact.

Loved the house and all of the art. Great location and plenty of space. The shower heads left a little to be desired and the dog run isn't conveniently located. But had a great time with family and dog none the less.

It was our family and 2 friends. There was plenty of room for all to have there own bed. We cooked breakfast and dinner at the house. We had everything we needed. It was beautifully decorated. We look forward to staying there again.

We went for a long weekend and the house was absolutely perfect for our first trip to Emerald Isle. The beach was a five minute walk away and we went multiple times. Great location, close to a lot of other places. The house was exactly as shown. It was perfect for a three year old. He loved sleeping on the trundle bed and playing with the toys. We expect to book again! Thank you!

It was awesome! It’s not right on the beach but beach is only quarter mile behind the house. It was equipped well with most things you’ll need for cooking if you need to like dishes etc even had salt and pepper lol had towels and rags. It was great setup! I loved the house personally and will definitely be taking the family back again when I can!

Amazing time at Martha’s at Emerald Isle!! The house was very comfortable and clean with a lot of thoughtful board games and other amenities. The walk to the beach was quick and safe.

We had a house full and had plenty of room. This house is beautiful and fully stocked with linens and plenty of games for the kids. Sleeping arainmgents were easy being this house had plenty of space from the day beds to a kings size to a pull out couch even had trundles. Communication with the owner/property manager was simple and questions were answered way faster then expected. We will deffenity rent from here again if we come back.

We went for my father’s wedding. The house was beautiful and the renters downstairs were polite and friendly. There was some dirt on the floors when we arrived and we encountered a few bugs during our stay but to be expected at the beach. The beds were 8/10 comfort level but the screened in porch was very nice to have! The property manager was very accommodating and made for a very memorable experience.
