We had a great stay in this cottage by the sea. The first couple of days were pretty cold, and the owner was relentless to get the heat working; sending a tech out at night and staying up until 1 am to make sure it was fixed. After that, we had warmer days and it was so nice to be able to walk 1 minute to the beach and to have a panoramic view of the waves crashing on the shore. The cottage was clean, tastefully appointed, and stocked with just about everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this great little cottage, and if you do decide to stay, head down the road about a mile to Alfie's Restaurant and get a piece of the BEST key lime pie you'll ever have!

This Beach Cottage was breathtaking, peaceful, restful, tastefully decorated, and meticulously clean! The hosts, Ed and Trish, are the sweetest and kindest people we have found on VRBO. They do not treat your vacation as a profit but place people above the business as an act of service to ensure a comfortable and memorable trip. Trish responded promptly to any questions and was 'attention to detail' with vacation information for an enjoyable family stay. The host also accommodates your situation within reason. You need to ask. Pet-friendly and roomy enough for an 8-person retreat. The host thought of everything, so you have the total comforts of home, from a fully stocked kitchen to a garage full of beach fun. You do not need to spend more $ as this is a fully operating & functional cottage. Within a short drive is the Peach Valley Cafe for breakfast, Publix for groceries, and other storefronts. It is a small complex of beach cottages some rentals and other homes but an excellent friendly environment only a few paces away from the beach. The VIEWS are incredible from the big bay windows. And the long 8-seated dining table made for plenty of meals and gatherings. The closets were stocked with board games & the home had no design, fashion, or decor shortcuts. Everything was elegant and classy. This is the place to be. I will recommend it and will return again! From start to finish, this cottage and its beautiful-hearted host make for a memorable vacation. Our family had the BEST vacation we’ve had in years! The house is immaculate, beautiful, and well appointed with every possible item you could want when staying away from your own home. The beach views we enjoyed from the home were spectacular, and Trish was by far the most amazingly gracious hostess we’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. One of our favorite activities was having everyone gather around the large table at night for food and games. The laughter and good times ensued. I can’t recommend this vacation home and hostess enough. It was definitely a restorative, relaxing, and enjoyable vacation for each one of us!

Wonderful welcoming beach house❤️. Everything you need for a wonderful beach week is here chairs beach towels beach toys-all in the garage. Inside kitchen is well equipped if you like to cook or walk to the many restaurants near by. Games, toys, and puzzles! We had such a great week can’t wait to come back

My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cottage. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. The cottage met all our expectations. We really like how the cottage was decorated, and just being steps from the beach was great. There is a great view of the ocean, we were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins swim by. Trish, is an excellent host. We look forward to renting her cottage again.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. This cheery and comfortable home is just as pictured/described. We absolutely loved being steps from the beach and saw the sun rise over the ocean every morning with our coffee and our dog.. In my opinion that's the perfect beginning to any day at the beach...

We had one issue within a day of checking in but we contacted the owner and they fixed the issue right away and rectified it. Highly recommend this place! So close to the beach and it was nice having the garage bc we had a Jeep and we’re able to take the top and doors off and just park in the garage all week so we didn’t have to take all the pieces on and off every day.

During the entirety of our stay, my group had a great experience with this cottage. Check in was very easy and the house was clean and ready when we arrived. The views of the beach are amazing and it really is a 30 second walk to it. The beach itself is quiet and umbrellas, chairs, beach towels, and shovels are all provided. The house is very close to the supermarket and the neighbors are all very friendly. It is also just a 15 min drive to Tomoka State Park and Daytona Beach. The TV is very easy to use, and there is a list of channels and the remotes are labeled. Additionally, there are many movies on DVD and VHS and plenty of board and card games to choose from. Trish was very responsive and helpful whenever I reached out. Would definitely recommend staying here!

this place is awesome,very roomy,comfortable a/c,beautiful views,beautiful sunrise and sunset,steps to the wonderful non-crowded beach,anything you may need is here from cooking needs to beach needs,very convenient,there is a must have at my house after staying here,that is the outdoor shower behind the house,it is awesome,i did not use the indoor shower the entire week,feels so free,you just don't want to leave,looking forward to next year

This was our second time staying at this beach cottage. There is nothing you could possible want for during your stay. The owner has thought of everything and the furnishings are very comfortable, including the beds. The grocery store is right down the street which is also quite helpful. The owner Trish is a wonderful communicator and will make sure things go smoothly for your visit. This is an amazing cottage well maintain and fully stocked for all your needs. My family and I were extremely pleased with this rental! Amazing ocean view from the dining room table. The beds are comfortable. Very close to the beach , quite street, beach not crowded . Publix and Dunkin’ Donuts within walking distance. Trish is an excellent host, thank you! Check in was easy, communication just a text or a phone call away.

The cottage was fully stocked with everything you could need for a beach getaway. We packed too much! Beautiful views from living, dining and master bedroom. Less than a minute walk to the beach. Publix and restaurants walking distance. Quiet and private yet minutes to Daytona night life. A must stay! Trish responded very quickly and was great. Definitely will stay again.

After a long drive we were thrilled to arrive at the property. The owners were there finishing some maintenance and they are wonderful people to meet. The house is situated where you can view the ocean from the kitchen, living room, and dining room. The property was as stated in the description. We didn’t have any issues. The neighbors were very friendly especially since they knew we were “short-timers”. Many shops and restaurants are close to the property too. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

This was the perfect family spot away from the crowd! We enjoyed everything about this place! I would say the only thing that could be an issue (which we only had for one day) is that if someone is staying in the house in front of you and parks in the driveway they block the entire view of beach.

Sure, there are places on the beach in Ormond, but they are mostly condo units stacked on top of each other. This place was on the beach and we had four walls to ourselves with no one above or below to worry about! There is more living space than the photos make it seem to be. Our family two adults and two children under 9 and dog, had a great time and plenty of space to spread out. My favorite room was the dining room with the large table by the picture window that looked out to the beach.Lots of space in the well stocked kitchen. I don't like to cook much for week long vacations except breakfast. I love not having to worry about packing seasonings, spices, and oil. There is filtered water with reverse osmosis system at the sink too.The kids slept great in the double bunk room. We kept the storm shutter down for room darkening. The king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We took off the down comforter as it was still warm out. The bathrooms are on the small size, but did not impact us. In fact, both kids only showered outside the whole week. There are plenty of towels and wash cloths. Very appreciative of the full size washer/dryer (and laundry soap). Thanks also for the homemade jellyfish spray, which we used once. The other great part of this beach rental were the beach items for use- so great to not have to pack all of these things in the car! The beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards, and of course oversized, fluffy beach towels. Location- of course, steps to the beach. Beach was not crowded at all. Across the street from two of the best pizza places in Ormond and donut shop. Just a minute from Publix. Owner was very responsive with any questions we had. We will be back!
