Als Ferienaufenthalt ungeeignet. Selbst als Zwischenaufenthalt für eine Nacht verschwendete Zeit. Für das schlechte Ange

Einrichtung des Resorts ärmlich: Keine Angebote für Freizeit, Besichtigungen oder Ausflüge. Das Ambiente des Resorts lässt keinerlei Südsee-Gefühle aufkommen. Auf der Website des Resorts ist ein attraktives Schiff abgebildet, nur ist es seit Ende Corona, also seit einem Jahr, fahruntüchtig.

Échte teleurstelling op droomlocatie!

Ligging en het uitzicht.

De weg naar het huisje was te steil, vanwege knieblessure. Moeilijk begaanbaar! Lichten ‘s avonds bij de opgang waren uit. Gevaarlijk! Buitenlicht van het huisje doet het alleen als je binnen je kaart in de houder steekt. Dus is het lastig om bij je deur te komen en gehannes met sleutel. Er stond een grote computer op een kast in onze kamer. Die stuurt van alles aan voor alle huisjes. Koeling bleef heel de nacht irritant zoeken. Kostte ons de nachtrust. De tv werkte niet. Kon ook niet worden gerepareerd. Airco deed het pas, toen ik zelf de batterijen goed in de afstandsbediening had gedaan. Er was niet genoeg wc-papier. Ik wilde een rol halen en kreeg als antwoord: housekeeping komt straks. We wilden met twee stellen samen boeken, maar er was nog maar één accommodatie beschikbaar op de website. Toen we aankwamen waren we de enige twee gasten op twee managers na. Het bedrijf was nog druk aan het verbouwen. Er kwamen nieuwe huisjes bij, direct boven ons. Rommelige indruk, lawaaierige start van de dag. Het was dus echt ongezellig.. we zaten met ons tweeën te eten. Beetje gênant dat er veel personeel was, die vervolgens nogal traag en onverschillig ons tegemoet traden. (Kauwgomkauwende bediening aan tafel!) We moesten ondanks al dit personeel toch ruim 3 kwartier wachten op ons eten. Toen kregen we het voor en hoofdgerecht tegelijk. Volgende morgen weer een eenzaam ontbijt. Toen we na aandringen toch het management te spreken kregen, zei die dat ze niets voor ons konden betekenen, omdat de boeking via Book.com gaat. Daar moesten we ook een eventueel refundverzoek en klacht indienen. HIERBIJ DOEN WE DAT GRAAG!! Het was een erg dure overnachting, waarvan we veel meer verwacht hadden. Dikke onvoldoende! Normaal gesproken schrijven we nooit recensies. We zijn met normale kwaliteit meestal tevreden. Nu wilden we dit echter wel melden, omdat we echt geen waar kregen voor ons geld.

Nice place to stay to explore the region - we were diving Bligh waters.

Breakfast was the same every day but we loved it. It had Indian vegetarian dhal or curry and roti, lamb sausages, beans, hash browns, scrambled egg . Plus cornflakes, weetabix, toast jam. Fresh fruit. Orange juice, tea, coffee, water. Self service.

The road up to the villas was a bit rough. Pot holes and stones. Building work on new villas all day every day. Drilling noise.

Enjoyed and would like to re-visit soon but definitely need better management of location.

The location was excellent and very scenic. The breakfast had good choices but sanitation was an issue. Flies were caught under the cover and it took away our appetite. The dinner was okay but the ambiance was missing. The staff were pleasant and helpful but were unable to provide any form of music.

The night was beautiful and it could have been better if there was music. We prefer native music and it was void.

One of the best accommodations in Rakiraki, Fiji.

Brilliant location, great staffing, and most of all, the food was amazing, especially the breakfast, which includes continental buffet and roti accompanied by curry.

The security of Indian descent was very rude at times. Maybe he thought that he was the 'big boss' of all the guests and including the 'big boss' of the resort staff. It's understandable that the site is under development, but the staff are overworked, especially room service staff and the housekeeping staff. They don't have any other means of getting up and down multiple times to the Villas except climbing the steep hill on the legs.

We loved our time at Dua Dua! We would definitely book this accommodation again. We loved the kind and friendly staff.

Amazing staff, very kind and friendly. Location is quiet with lovely views of the water and sunsets. Restaurant had decent options and breakfast was a nice buffet. We had fun kayaking around the area in front of the resort.

Do not recommend going here

The view

Very bad service, blood stained sheets, pee stains under toilet seat. Upon asking for new sheets we were told housekeeping was gone for the day. They brought a new sheet finally which was also stained . When we arrived we were told the golf cart wasn't working so had to carry our luggage to the room. They charge 10$ extra for room service even tho you are paying to stay there. The roads to come in to the resort are very bad especially when it rains. They are also still building more villas so there is lpjd construction noise early in the morning.

Disappointing

The gardens were tidy but everything else seemed to be lacking in care! From the roads to the bathrooms - hate to think when handbasin had last been cleaned in restaurant loos! Breakfast was pretty dismal. And as for value for money … it was expensive $$$ First walked into our room - locked up and strong smell of smokers … tiny ants in bathroom that ended up all through my sponge bag. It says luxury rooms - they ain’t!

Made special request n got a confirmation that it got approved but when asked at the reception.the receptionist said she wil asked her manager n let us know but they never did that.after checking in went in the room n there was no towels,was told by the staff that wil get it once it’s dried.also they don’t have enough pool towels.

3 bedroom staff quarters villa.

Outdoor restaurant and pool area.

3 bedroom villa, is away from the resort. It is a staff quarters converted to resort villa. Villa facing the resort resort workshop not the water view that shows in the photos. Cooking appliances is average. One of the three bedroom without a window. This no bedroom window is a safety hazzard, if there is a fire in the Villa you likely trapped while sleep in it.

Dua Dua didn’t care about our situation at all

Breakfast could have been better. I tried to cancel my second day stay as my mom who was 94 years old with us and started feeling sick. So we wanted to check out l. Tried with Booking. They emailed property. But never got any response back. They charged my credit card in full as soon as we checked in l. So I don’t think Dua Dua really cared.

That nobody was willing to help when we asked for the second day that we couldn’t stay. But they took the money in full. We checked out anyway after one day. Even though we paid for two nights

Beautiful views, clean rooms and isolated.

Beautiful remote location, hardly anyone there when we stayed,. Food at the restaurant was good.

Sorry, but it shouldn't be called a beach resort, the beach is rocky, not sandy. The pool area is small and poorly equipped. The place does need a bit of maintenance and updating. The road in is through a sugar cane field and is very rough, take care if driving.
