Located in Lake Martin, this attractive house for $442 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Sunset Station is located on the point of Sunset Cove, Lake Martin, AL. We are 30 miles from Auburn University. The sun will set and rise on the dock which is 30 feet from the back porch. The back porch has a BIG lake view and is the length of the house. Hammock on the back porch is nice for reading and enjoying the sounds of Lake Martin. You will see sailboats, pontoon boats, bass boat, ski boat and a pontoon plane on the lake. The wildlife is amazing: you will see loons, duck, fish jumping, deer, geese and much more. We have a bald eagle on the lake I see often. Here on the lake you may see a snake, non-venomous scorpion, turtles, and coyotes; you can’t beat the wildlife sightings. You will have access to the canoe. Coffee in the morning will never be the same, forever memories of your stay at Sunset Station because of the big water view and closeness of the water. There are many restaurants on the lake with live music. Easy to catch fish off the dock. Fully furnished home with bedding, towels and other needed essentials. 55 inch television with full cable, high-speed Wi-Fi, grill, hammock, large deck, plenty of outdoor seating, dock, and plenty of peace and quiet. All local streets are paved, relatively untraveled, and great for running or walking. House is two miles from the public boat launch, plenty of restaurants including the Lake Martin rodeo club and Lake Martin's famous Col Toms. The views at Sunset Station did not let us down. The views at sunrise and sunset were truly spectacular. We spent an amazing weekend at Ward’s property on Lake Martin. From the get go communication was excellent. Like any trip we had a few minor issues come up but the owner communicated promptly and fixed all issues fast and properly. Thanks again for sharing your amazing property for our special weekend!

Location on lake was perfect. Beautiful view from porch. Close to The Ridge marina and Chimney Rock. Niffer's was just a quick boat ride away. It's not on Pleasure point but was quite a pleasure to stay! We are already planning a second visit there.

The property is fantastic, couldn't have been happier. Huge master with shower and soaker jet tub. Well stocked kitchen with both a coffee maker and a Keurig. The room with 2 sets of bunk beds would be great for kids. The views are amazing and the dock has plenty of room to enjoy the view. The back porch is huge with plenty of seating and a dinner table.

We habe have rented several houses on Lake Martin but this was the best one yet. Mainly because of the location and views. Also the host was uncomplicated and accommodating and the house was in good condition. We would consider renting this property again.

The property is conveniently located, and well equipped. Depending on the time of year, there may not be water at the dock. This was the case during our Christmas visit, but was not a problem. The home is spacious, and the sunsets from the back porch are SPECTACULAR! We will definitely be back if visiting Lake Martin.

We enjoyed our stay the Lakeview is beautiful. We had one beautiful sunset while there. We caught a few fish off the dock. Very relaxing fall getaway. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking it appears although we ate at most the restaurants. We will definitely be back. Ward the owner responded quickly to all my questions! Only recommendation would be more comfortable chairs for the back porch. One of the rockers is broke but still usable.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location for boating and very quiet. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch. Very relaxing. Be careful of the bottom step leading into the water. It is slippery and does not have a warning. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay and hope to rent again! The house is very roomy and comfortable. The long front porch was awesome. The deck is roomy and very fun for the kids! The sandy areas around the steps was wonderful. The view, the peaceful neighborhood! Close to many things. We come to this area with other family a lot and it's one of the best sloughs! Highly recommend this house!

Sunset station is a great rental, location on the lake is great, located mid lake close to Marinas and restaurants. Dock and slip are in great shape with docking for a couple boats, big water views facing west but somewhat in a cove with low traffic. House was very clean, everything worked as it should. Communication with owner was fantastic. canoe and kayaks available for use. Ample parking even for boat trailer. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Sunset Station! The location is beautiful with lots of lake activity to watch from the back porch, including an airplane landing on the lake! The owners were extremely easy to work with, and any questions were always answered promptly. The house is very well equipped and has lots of room for everyone to spread out. We would definitely stay here again!

Not going to beat this property. Walked in and it was very clean, property is easy to get to and in the best area on the lake in my opinion. Owner is quick to respond if needed. I would not hesitate for a second to stay here again. Can’t wait to plan my next trip already.
