About this cabin rental
Located in Lake Martin, this charming cabin for $441 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Our cozy cabin is a great place for Auburn weekends or a relaxing getaway. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the other has two bunkbed sets so it can sleep a total of eight. There is a sleeper sofa in the den If needed. The den, kitchen and the breakfast area are all very open with high ceilings. On the water side there’s a huge deck for grilling and entertaining and a second deck down closer to the Water for hanging out. Things to do in the area..... New water farms is right around the corner. During warm months, they offer an non denominational outdoor church service Sunday mornings @ 8:30 you can go by boat or take a stroll over or drive over. It’s very casual shorts and tshirts are fine. There’s a Dollar General three minutes away on highway 49 and Renfro's grocery is about 15 min away in downtown Dadeville. They have a pretty good southern deli and Jacks and McDonalds are right there too. There are many restaurants within a ten minute drive or 20-30 minute boat ride - Niffers Place, Oskars (seafood and famous cheese balls), Coppers Grill, Chucks Marina (pizza), Poplar Dogs (deli sandwiches), ....oh and Lake Martin Pizza is fabulous (garlic knots). Renting a boat? Go to chimney rock 30-40 min boat ride. You can google. Please be careful if the kids jump off the rock ledges. Also in Auburn is a Robert Trent Jones course for golfing. Smith mountain fire tower is about 10 minutes away (easily googled) is a good 2 mile hike to the top and then climb the fire tower. You get a good view of the entire lake. It’s breathtaking. Or you can hike at Chewacla State Park in Auburn...it’s got creeks and just beautiful as well. If shopping is your thing you can spend a couple of hours walking around Angel's Antiques in Opelika and Tiger Town has a lot to offer. Auburn University has a ton of restaurants and it’s very family friendly. Some favs are Little Italy, Bow and Arrow, the Hound, Amsterdam Cafe, and all the chain restaurants. If you go to campus you must grab a glass of lemonade from the famous Toomers Corner. Thank you for viewing our little cabin on the lake.

This was our second stay at Randy & Toni’s home. Everything was clean, as usual. The area is quiet and the perfect spot on the lake as it’s only a short drive to all the local restaurants and gas stations. That side of the lake is also peaceful and very little traffic. We love it there.

This is a wonderful property if you want a peaceful quiet lakefront stay. The property comes stocked with everything you need to make your stay worry free. Communication was great. We even had an emergency that required us to stay in the area longer than planned and they were great in helping us extend our stay. I can't say enough good things about this property.

This house was perfect for our family to relax and and enjoy our son’s graduation weekend in Auburn. The hosts were wonderful to work with and the home and amenities were top notch. The view was beautiful and it was even a blessing to be able to include our fur babies! We’ll definitely stay here again!

The house was even better in person than online! It was perfectly suited for our needs. It was easy to locate and the directions were great! We had a slight hiccup before we arrived, but we were informed and the host stayed in touch until the issue was resolved. We rented a boat, relaxed, visited and had the best time! Lake Martin is beautiful and has captured our hearts, as has this house!

My brothers and I rented 3 homes within a mile of each other and ours was the absolute best! So comfortable and so peaceful! It was represented perfectly in the listing and we will definitely be back if available. We were celebrating our mom’s 80th birthday with all of my nieces and nephews and their kids as well. I was very happy that my mom stayed with us in this cabin. It was perfect!! The hosts were fantastic!

This house is loaded with everything you would need to enjoy Lake Martin with family or friends especially if you travel with a pet. Owners are quick to reply to any requests and were very accommodating when we need to check in early from a long travel day. The house was perfect for my family. We had our own private pier but there’s an inlet wrap around boardwalk for all to enjoy! You can walk to the pool from the boardwalk. Paddle board and kayak all around the area, (two paddle boards and one kayak furnished). House was beautiful, clean, and cozy. Thank you for a great stay.

Our family had an excellent stay. This was our first rental experience where it felt like someone was sharing their home versus “running a business”. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked with necessities as well as thoughtful extras. Beds were comfy, location is great, owners are very communicative but unintrusive.

Fantastic Auburn Game Day rental! Owner had great communication, property was just as described, plenty of room for two families with kids, beautifully decorated, and kitchen was well appointed for cooking! The owners were sooo nice and the home was adorable and very comfortable. Bed was a little firm for me. We enjoyed the little cove on the lake. The only disappointment was the location of the nearest boat ramp. Next year we have reserved a home with a boat ramp. Houses were a little close. Other than that, we thoroughly loved our stay there and even met a neighbor who knew aerospace engineers my husband knows.
