About this house rental
Situated in Homer, this attractive house for $349 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. A 2000 sq. foot 2 bedroom 2.5 bath custom built home located on 3 private acres. Beautiful spruce trees and wildflowers surround the property. Heather View Vacation Rental is great for couples , families and friends. The master bedroom has a queen size bed,walk in closet, a sitting area with a lovely view and an attatched deck. The main bathroom has a walk in shower and jacuzzi tub for two. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities needed to make your stay perfect including all cooking utensils microwave, coffee maker and breakfast bar. There is a comfortable living room with leather furniture and a separate dining room with sliding glass doors. The lower level has a trundle bed that can be 2 single beds or 1 king bed.There is an entertainment center with a large sitting area and a leather couch and a leather recliner. Also a 50' flatscreen t.v. with cable. The entire house is equipped with WIFI. Outside there is a large wrap around deck with BBQ grill and large landscape lawn with picnic area and firepit.

Maggie Burns the owner was awesome. A group of four of us fishermen stayed five days, self-catered ,and enjoyed having the two and one-half bathrooms. Of course the views from the decks were magnificent.

The property was fantastic. Actually the photos on web did not do it justice. It was a beautiful home, nicely built. Three bedrooms and three baths. we'll rent it again in the future, for sure.

The whole process of checking in and out as well as communication before and during the trip with Maggie was seemless! We would highly recommend this stay! We really enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine from either outdoors on the deck or indoors from the dining room, livingroom, and master bedroom. We even saw 3 moose- 1 coming right into the yard! It was the perfect Alaskan Getaway! The location was ideal from Homer- super easy access to get into town, yet in the country with the more secluded feel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, house was stocked with everything we needed. A short drive to grocery store and shops. Nature Center nearby was great as was the guided tour.

We loved our 5 night stay in this very private, large home. Great views, saw a moose and her calf in the neighbor's yard, comfortable beds and great kitchen (with sharp knives, a rarity for rentals!) Would definitely stay here again next time we're in Homer.

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The owners were awesome in assisting me with ANYTHING I needed. The accommodations are everything advertised and more. I really enjoyed being able to sit outside, at the fire pit, taking in all the beautiful surroundings. Lots of outside deck space also to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Close to town, shopping and restaurants. The house is very spacious and has everything I needed. I will definitely be returning next year.

We had a great time in Homer. Property pictures very accurate. Owner on property on site but out of sight. She was VERY responsive when we had a minor issue. Really appreciated the kitchen stocked with coffee, teas, spices, etc.

Such a lovely home situated on the hillside. Our 3 nights/days were mostly cloudy so we never got to capture the entire view.. but we know it must be amazing! Large living area, bedrooms were comfy, and Loved all the art from around the world! Highly recommend a stay here!

We’ve stayed once before and I will continue to seek this property out when we stay. Beautiful view, place for the kids to run, and very comfortable. Property owner is easy to communicate with and very kind and helpful.

Peaceful retreat!
My husband and my father stayed in this wonderful home during our stay in Homer. We enjoyed staying here because it was cozy yet spacey enough to have our own space and feel at home. We loved the spectacular views of the area and of the bay and surrounding mountains…even watching the mama and baby moose that wandered into the yard! We enjoyed that it was just a short drive to town so restaurants and shopping and activities on the spit were very convenient. Maggie was a wonderful host. She had everything ready for us and gave us all the info we needed. It was a 5 star stay for us! Thank you Maggie!

Just "wow"! Wonderful house that sits up high on a ridge, beautiful master bedroom, views everywhere, and great decks. Wildlife (moose, sandhill cranes). Quiet neighborhood. Just a few minutes away from most things. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Superb as usual!
The views are spectacular and Maggie's place is always a perfect getaway. The house is clean, well-furnished & stocked and only a short drive from all the amenities in Homer. We particularly enjoy the quiet and peaceful surroundings and all the little touches provided such as the fresh flowers on the dining table. This is by far our favorite rental in Homer and we can't wait to return! Thanks for another superb stay!

Diamond Ridge is perfect for those who want the most beautiful view of the mountains, volcanoes and ocean! Maggie was an incredible host and the house had everything we needed to make this the best trip we have ever had to Homer! We will definitely go back!

Exceptional stay!
Our stay at Heather View was perfect! From the very first phone call six months ago, Maggie gave us great communication. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. We appreciated how clean and comfortable the home was. It was well stocked with upgraded appliances and was tastefully decorated. Fresh flowers on the dining room table, comfy beds and sheets,, and a Bose radio tuned to a great Oldies station! But - the best part has to be the view. Wow! The bay and mountains provided a beautiful vista from virtually every room (plus, of course, the spacious deck). Thank you, Maggie, for providing a wonderful end to our Alaskan vacation!

This property exceeded our expectations, the layout of the house is great and the views are unbelievable. Maggie is an excellent host and was very responsive to our inquiries both before and during the trip. The house is very well equipped and made us feel at home after a long day of exploring Homer and the surrounding area.
