We very much enjoyed our stay at the Dream Cottage. A group of 4 with two small dogs, the property was perfect for our getaway after Christmas and through New Year’s. Outstanding proximity to the beach. The fire place is gorgeous and the centerpiece of the house. Quiet, cozy, comfortable.

The Dream Cottage is aptly named, It's architecturally elegant and every bit as beautiful and as its pictures, the owner is delightful to communicate with, and despite the wild December weather, we stayed warm and cozy. The hot tub was perfect after a walk on the beach. Cooking in the well-equipped kitchen was a pleasure. We are already looking forward to another visit.

This property is about as good as it gets in Tofino in our opinion. The house and grounds are beautiful (as the pictures show). It is located in a quiet neighborhood but on a very private lot. You are walking distance to coffee shops, the Wildside Grill (fish tacos!) and Chesterman Beach. Diane was a great host and very responsive. The place is very well stocked - we made a big meal and weren't lacking for anything in the kitchen. Book it, you won't regret it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the quiet and private cottage near Chesterman Beach. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed and the owner was very helpful and quick to respond to our requests. One suggestion for making the outside deck more comfortable in November would be a fire pit table…😁

Warm and welcoming. Exactly as portrayed in the photos; clean, and well-equipped. Very comfortable place for the 5 of us, and a sixth person would've been an easy fit. The hot tub was lovely, even more so in the pouring rain. Beds were comfortable, with enough bedding, and extra blankets and wraps were provided for napping on the couch etc. The walk through the woods to the beach was delightful and took only a couple of minutes. Highly recommended!

Super digs at a great location! What can I say. We enjoyed our stay in Tofino so much. Great accommodations with a nice kitchen for cooking when you want to do your own thing. Access to Chesterman beach, bike rentals, early morning coffee and Tacofino! Hot tub was greatly appreciated following surfing! Thanks for the wonderful time. Many updates from Dianne on road closures etc to always keep us informed. Wish we had stayed longer.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home. Its our favourite place by far in Tofino. Location is wonderful- short 2 mins forest walk to the glorious Chesterman Beach. After a day of “surfing”, we’d relax in the hot tub and enjoy dinner on the patio. Very spacious for family of 5 plus dog. Very clean and well-kept. Highly recommend. We’ll be back.

We were comfortable both inside and outside the cottage. Our group respected the water restrictions and did not use the hot tub or outside shower ... these could be good for cooler weather. We did not have cooler weather, quite the reverse, it was a week of incredible sunshine all day long with very hot day time temperatures, at least for Tofino! As a result, we appreciated the fact that Dianne's cottage is a short walk to Chesterman Beach because that is where we hung out most days. Surfing, beach bike rental, walks, all very much enjoyed. Dianne was very helpful with a slight glitch, which was also appreciated. If you want to be close to what is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, this could well be the place. Enjoy!

Great location, lovely spotless home with all the amenities and super comfy beds. Easy check in and very good communication with property owner. Would stay here again in a minute. The only thing is no blinds on the windows in the loft so bring an eye mask for sleeping unless you’re a super early riser. Wonderful experience!

Good location easy walk to the beach, good big kitchen for cooking, warm fireplace, like the big deck all around the house with the outdoor shower, BBQ and hot tub. Would have been nice to have a cloth line or something like it to hang the wetsuite.

Nice cottage, great layout for group. Beds were comfortable. We had a group of 3 couples and enjoyed going for bike rides around the area and into town despite the snow (the bike path was mostly clear from our location into town). We enjoyed a hottub after outdoor activity and playing games in the evenings. Thank you for our enjoyable getaway.

It was a very nice stay , the house is pretty but the third bedroom was a mezzanine not a proper bedroom. The sound proofing was not perfect . Very functional house with the most amazing hot tub.

We had a fabulous stay with friends to celebrate a couple of birthdays. The location is excellent for proximity to the beach and darkness at night for stargazing! The home is well maintained and as described The pictures are accurate and bonus to have a super clean hot tub to use :). We would highly recommend this place to stay for a family, girls getaway or friends weekend like we did. Super fun. True west coast style!

Galiano Dream Cottage is located a short distance from Chesterman Beach in a lovely, neighbourhood cul du sac. We went in off season and it was quiet and restorative. The hot tub was such a treat returning from the surf and the kitchen well stocked with ever pot, pan and serving platter we could need. Beds were comfortable, fireplace cozy and the large deck a great place to hang out. Dianne gave us lots of privacy but where there if we needed anything or had questions. Thank you for a beautiful stay!
