About this house rental
Located in Tofino, this attractive house for $698 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Perched high on a hill, Eagle View House has stunning panoramic views stretching from Bedwell Glacier over Lemmins Inlet through the old growth forests of Meares Island, Clayoquot Sound and Tofino Harbor—you can see all the way to open ocean! The house was custom designed by the award-winning architect George Morrow. Located a short walk away from the many art galleries, restaurants and shops of Tofino. This house offers a unique accommodation experience. Lovely local beaches, kayaking, surfboard, wetsuit & boogie board rentals and whale watching are just down the hill. The view is fabulous, yet the location is quiet, private and you feel like you're a world away. In addition to the house being on Tofino's doorstep, Chesterman Beach is a five-minute drive away. Please note to get to Eagle View House's stunning views, there is a long steep driveway. Eagle View House is versatile; ideal for a couple on a romantic getaway, the master bedroom offers a stunning view, and your own full bathroom with shower/tub combo. If you're travelling with family or friends, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a single up top and full size bed below. The main bathroom also has a shower. The living dining area has an open concept flow with views from every part of the house. There is a piano in the living area for guest to enjoy. Just off the living area is a large deck equip with a BBQ and hot tub. Please note: the master bed has been upgraded to a king bed and is not accurate to the current pictures. Please note: The driveway is extremely steep and may be challenging for those with mobility issues to walk up. During the winter snow tires are required to drive up the driveway(if snowing or icy) During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. 3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays We offer discounted rates on month long stay ONLY during our low season (Dec-Feb) Pet friendly after owner approval. Pet fee $50 (plus taxes) per dog (2 max). No cats allowed Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals! Accidental Damage Protection: The occasional accident is bound to happen during your holiday. The ADP covers accidental damages of up to $1000, provided damages are reported to Tofino Vacation Rentals before your check-out in writing. The ADP is a mandatory fee of $10 per night that is included in your nightly rate. Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day cancellation policy from September through June and a 60 day policy from July through August. If you provide us with the 30 or 60 days required notice you will receive a full refund (minus a $73.50 non-refundable processing fee). Unreal views all over the home!
The communication and coordination with the manager was easy, and they were very helpful.
Very clean home, with plenty of space and a very roomy fully equipped kitchen.

Cozy house! Beautiful views. Beds were very comfortable, showers were great. Driveway is steep with blind curves so plan on that if going out for a run, etc. Very nice to have a couple mornings worth of coffee provided- thank you for that.

House was in a great location. Quiet but still close to everything you need in town. Really nice bathrooms. The view is what makes this house so special. The property manager from Tofino rentals was very attentive, helpful, and polite. She made our stay perfect!

Pros:

Sliding Patio Door is extremely hard to open
Some patio furniture is wearing out.
Although there were many aspects of Eagle View House we enjoyed and appreciated, the above-noted deficiencies are surprising when paying $1000+ per night. Some of these issues could be resolved with reasonable expenditures. Had this house been priced more appropriately, we would have given this a higher star rating. In addition, the 30/60 day cancellation policy through certain booking site is increasingly problematic. Travel is too uncertain in current times (eg. the Hwy 4 road disruptions and sporadic closures) and guests can suddenly find themselves out thousands of dollars. In the future, we will be looking to book accommodations that guarantee the quality meets the cost as well as offering more flexibility in their cancellation policies.

Amazing location with one of the best view in Tofino. Great walking distance to town - just down the road by 10 minutes. Bathrooms were updated and clean and the house was in decent functioning condition. But honestly for the amount you pay you would expect the mold to be cleaned off the windows, the deck door to be able to lock when closed and for the house to be in better condition (the carpets are overdue to be replaced with old stains, furniture is old/dated and worn, furnishing/pillows were old could be updated). If it was available at a more reasonable rate this would be understandable however at over $1k a night we felt this rental was far too overpriced for how it was presented. Again the location and view is amazing but that is basically the only thing you are paying for. Other little things like not having any kindling ready to start a fire to use the fireplace was disappointing especially when the check in is late and guests are driving 5 hours + then have to cut wood in the dark. Little things that can go a long way when you are paying a lot of money to stay somewhere with mold in the windows and dirty curtains etc. Disappointed as we were really looking forward to staying at this place as the pictures looked amazing but it wasn’t what we expected. Enjoyed our stay but believe this is overpriced for what is being offered especially when there are a handful of other airbnbs in Tofino at offer and in better condition.

A breathtaking view from the moment walking in the door. Even after dark the cheer remained with the beautiful lights outside. Property management was a 10. The decorated tree was an unexpected touch we really enjoyed. A short walk to town but the driveway is crazy steep. Enough so, that some may not enjoy the walking challenge. We did not use the hot tub but it looked very clean and well serviced (watch the deck in winter - slippery!)
Room for everyone to spread out and the beds were so comfortable. Very quiet, peaceful area with ever changing views and colors over the water and mountains.
We would definitely stay again.

We loved staying here. My husband and I stayed here together with our 2 adult kids and their partners. The location was a short walk to the Main Street. The house was well laid out. Super comfy couch in the living room. Well stocked kitchen. Hot tub right there on the deck. Amazing views and sunsets. Loved it!!

We loved our stay at the Eagle View House - it was in an excellent location, private, quiet and with stunning views of the inlet, mountains and oceans. The hot tub on the deck was amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. Overall, an excellent property.

At first glance my children and I were overjoyed with the home we had chosen to stay in. It is a gorgeous, spacious layout for 6 of us, beautifully decorated and the view was breathtaking. It was a lot of money for us to spend but I felt we got our money’s worth. We enjoyed the hot tub everyday after surfing. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer. My only complaint was the pile of lumber in the parking area which made parking with two cars a bit tricky, with the steepness of the hill, especially when a 3 rd car would park there from the person living on site

We stayed 5 nights at Christmas; December 23-28. It would be nice to have had a few Christmas decorations to make it more festive. Very disappointed the barbecue didn't work as it never reached cooking temperature because the burners weren't working properly.

We had an amazing few days at Eagle View House. The views are beyond description! It was the perfect base to explore Tofino - which is just magical, because even when in the house you can experience the mountains, shoreline and harbour activity! We loved watching the sea planes come and go and then booked a flight! I would thoroughly recommend it. Even though we had seen the photos, the actual view was fabulous and we had perfect weather to appreciate the view. The property was well kept and clean. We turned the hot tub jets on by just pushing buttons; instructions would have helped. However it was a perfect location for our family reunion.

Great location, stunning views!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of blocks from restaurants, coffee shops, tour companies, and surf shops. Located at the top of a very steep hill which provided stunning views from the deck (with hot tub), master bedroom, living/dining area, and kitchen. The unit was well equipped with most everything you needed. The three bedrooms offered the perfect option for two couples and two teenagers. Would definitely recommend!
Hope to stay here again on our next trip to Tofino.
