Located in Lower Township, this attractive condo for $200 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This private self entry suite of 3 rooms (Queen sized bedroom, private bath, sitting room) within the front of my home is located only a 10 minute bike ride from the best sunsets in South Jersey, overlooking the Delaware Bay. You will be only a 10 minute drive to the best beaches, restaurants, and attractions of Cape May and Cape May Point. The rooms were recently renovated with new paint, carpets and memory foam mattress. The bathroom offers handicap access, grip bars, subway tiled step in shower and glass door. All complete with granite and marble appointments. The bedroom offers a Queen sized bed with memory foam top, elegant Egyptian cotton or bamboo linens and comfy pillows. The sitting room offers a full sized leather sofa and a 40 inch Samsung smart TV and Sony DVD player. Easy access to streaming apps. For sound there is a surround sound Polk sound bar fot TV or streaming music from your phone spps. There is a covered front porch with cushioned chairs for private use of guests. Please be advised there is NOT A FULL KITCHEN, however there is a toaster oven, microwave, and utensils. Other amenities include Kuerig coffee maker and under counter refrigerator. If you need more refrigeration, I have a full-size refrigerator with easy access for guests. I’m happy to share a shelf or offer shared freezer space. Guests enter through a separate front door, which offers secure keyless number pad entry, programmed with a unique code for each guest. I live in the rear of the home with my very friendly Maltese Yorkie Terrier named Guapo. Guapo is a calm adult male Maltese; a hypoallergenic breed so there would not be any allergy concerns. I am available for any questions and advice. I have lived in Cape May for most of my life, and have extensive knowledge about restaurants, history, and fun things to see and do! After my guests reserve I send a welcome email response with a PDF attachment with information about my property and the area. It’s important to make restaurant choices with reservations well advance of your stay. Go to Capemay.com to make selections and find out restaurant websites. I highly recommend that you print the PDF and bring it along. There are now many wineries, breweries, and only minutes away Nauti Spirits distillery. Please pay special attention and read the details about parking and how to use the keyless entry lock. I welcome you to come, relax, enjoy the peace and quiet, and the beauty of the CAPE MAY area.

Quiet residential area close to Ferry Terminal. Nicely maintained property. Unit, consisting of a living room, bathroom, and bedroom, is attached to main home but has own entrance. Good value.

We reached out to Craig two days before our arrival asking for recommendations, and got no response. Upon arrival, it was very hot in the apartment, so I immediately messaged asking for him to cool off the space. No response. Then I noticed the bed was unmade. It almost looked as if somebody had just gotten out of the bed and left it. Then I started noticing other things. Used towels hung on the bathroom door and no clean towels. Trash was full in both the living room and bathroom. I messaged about these things and asked if the place had maybe not been cleaned. No response. After being suspicious of the lack of communication, we decided to google his name and street and based on what we found, decided to leave the residence a night early after feeling unsafe. We are hoping VRBO can refund us for our stay and extra cost for the hotel we had to get.

The property is in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the downtown area. Ample parking on the street with friendly neighbors. The place was furnished nicely with a mini fridge and microwave supplied. We liked that shopping bags were provided if you look to grocery shop at one of the stores nearby. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Craig was a wonderful host. His dogs were cute and friendly. I was visiting Cape May for a week of birding in several locations and this home provided a great location and gave me solitude from the tourist crowds. The property was clean and I felt safe. I would definitely return for my next birding trip!

Craig was an amazing host providing excellent recommendations and super responsive!! The guest suite was perfect size and very clean. I have this four stars because although it is only ten minutes from downtown sometimes it took closer to 20 minutes with traffic during high season. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet however. Parking is a breeze right in front of the house! We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was as advertised. The bed was superb. The host was very responsive and friendly. As this is an attached guest suite to the main home, noise and talking are easily heard through an adjoining door. Great location to reach various beaches, shopping, farms, and wineries.

We stayed at the Osprey Nest for three nights last week and it was wonderful. Firstly, the neighborhood it is located in was about 10 minutes from everything we wanted to do. Also, the dwelling is spacious and very well-maintained. Craig has everything you would need for your stay- beach badges, Keurig, a toaster, plenty of linens and products in the bathroom- even books you can borrow! We loved how private it was yet beautiful and accessible to Cape May beaches, great restaurants, and shopping. Craig was a wonderful host, both friendly and unobtrusive, as we were there to celebrate our anniversary sans kids :). We highly recommend staying at the Osprey Nest if you plan to visit Cape May!

My wife and I loved this place! It’s off the beaten path so you can avoid crowds, but it’s only minutes away from the middle of town. Craig was a wonderful host and really kept the space clean and welcoming and he provided a guide with local restaurants and things to do.

The owner is friendly and respectful, his place is perfect for a couple, its clean and Greg is always there for you if you need anything. This is a perfect little, clean and comfortable one to celebrate your anniversary or just get away and enjoy the beautiful Cape May. I hardly recommend!

This ocean side town has been on my Bucket List for many years, and turning 60 was the year to go! We felt completely “at home”, as the pictures and description were completely accurate. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful place to retreat to from the hustle and bustle of Cape May, this place is perfect. We enjoyed the front porch, and even though the owner had company, they were very polite, congenial- and then- gone! We cannot recommend Craig and his clean, comfortable “home away from home” highly enough.

We only stayed for one night but it was lovely. The host communicated everything clearly about the check in process, and checked in with us to make sure we arrived safely. the rooms were perfect size for two people, even the bathroom. Highly recommend!

The apartment was great, much better than renting just a room at a hotel. Craig had the windows open and fans running when we got there. He even had a small vase with fresh cut flowers that smelled lovely. Everything was clean and tidy. Craig's home was located in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood. We had a great time at Cape May, great restaurants and lots to see and do. Great experience for our first visit! Thanks Craig for sharing your home.

Craig was very thorough in the information he provided throughout the process; everything was exactly as represented. He was very accommodating and friendly. The "Nest" was very clean and had everything we needed for a couple days away from home. It's located in a quiet, residential area and is close to everything you might need. Craig has maps, brochures and lots of information available about the area and attractions. He also provides beach passes. There's a single-serving coffee machine, a microwave and a toaster oven as well as real dishes. There was hot chocolate, tea and there was even some creamer in the mini-fridge! The step-in shower is big and has safety bars. All in all, it was a really nice place to spend a couple of nights. We highly recommend the Osprey Nest.
