Drive through the private gate and onto the 33 acre estate and begin your withdrawal from your hectic life and slow down to enjoy the wildlife and glory that Rim Rock has to offer. Rim Rock Lodge offers the ultimate location in Hill Country getaways that will allow you and your group the chance to sit on the back porch, enjoy a glass of wine or ice tea, feel the cool breezes as they come up from the canyon, watch the deer, and experience the panorama of colors offered by the sun as it sets on the horizon. 1,000 Sq Ft game room with Movie Theater fireplace, pool table, ping pong, game table, foosball, air hockey, and 19' shuffleboard. Dedicated Theatre room with 10' screen and raised theatre seating with 9 leather theater chairs. 60" TV in gameroom with surround sound, and stereo system. Nice rock fireplace. Full Bath with walk-in shower. The covered deck is 900 Sq Ft and overlooks the valley view. The house was completed in October 2009. The features and amenities are all luxurious and are what you would expect in only the finest ranches and estates. A few of the features are offered below: There are a total of 7 bedrooms, each decorated with hill country charm and rustic ranch elegance. Total of 7 full baths, each with slate or travertine floors and walls, double shower heads ( except the master which has 5 ), and frameless glass doors. Granite on all counter top surfaces Great room with 19’ ceilings, open wood trusses, large grand windows open to every view, along with a wood burning rock fireplace that soars 19’ to the top of the Ceiling, that provides a great backdrop to the grand vistas of the view outside of every window, 55" TV in Living Room, All Bedrooms have TV's with Satellite. Game room in the house with pool table, ice machine, wet bar with granite surface, bar refrigerator, 42" TV, Whole Home Audio System (indoor and Outdoor), listen to music throughout the house or while enjoying the view on the back porch, walls are covered in wood recovered from a 105 year old farm house and with decorations to match, old doors taken from a famous old hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska. Real hardwood floors along with rock surfaces throughout the inside of the house provide an upscale ranch atmosphere Master Bedroom with Vaulted Ceiling, TV wiht 200+ channels, Fantastic Views of Valley Master bath with granite double sink, travertine wall/floor, large jetted tub, huge shower with 5 shower heads Kitchen with SS appliances, double oven, gas cook top, large wine cooler, accent lighting and fully furnished. All interior and exterior walls insulated for sound, allowing for complete relaxation. Dining room has an 8’ farm table that allows your entire group to sit down and enjoy dinner together while enjoying the million dollar views just outside the their back door. This is a beautiful place great for large groups. The deer came out each morning and evening. We enjoyed lots of porch time and the outdoor kitchen was great for grilling. It is very secluded and a little hard to find especially at night. Overall we had an amazing time and made lots of memories.

This property was an awesome choice for our yearly multi generation family getaway. We had 6 adults and 5 active boys ages 5-13 for a 3 night stay. The swimming pool, game room, media room, workout room, disc golf and pool table were enjoyed by all. The one story home layout with numerous bedrooms and bathrooms was great. We also loved the large dining table for family meals and card games. The well appointed large kitchen made for easy meal preparation. When needed, communicating with the property manager was prompt and helpful. Great family memories were made at Rim Rock Ranch and we hope to stay again sometime.

Rim Rock is a gorgeous house that is well built for a group holiday like ours. We were able to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday in this gorgeous property and space.
We enjoyed the beautiful pool, hot tub, sauna, and game room particularly. The view is unforgettable. One of the bushes in the front yard had hummingbirds each morning. It is also convenient to Wimberley and San Marcos.
Only items that were not five stars were the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub, both had some debris at the bottom (there were a lot of storms/rain).
We also had some navigation issues (not hosts fault but something to think about) with both Google Maps and Waze unnecessarily directing us through an unwelcoming neighborhood nearby.
Overall would happily visit again!

Could not have asked for a more spectacular view of the Texas Hill Country and the accommodations were 'on point'! The group truly enjoyed the stay and made many memories throughout the weekend.

Our favorite house yet!
Every year we go on a family vacation which includes 18 people total. It can be challenging to find lodging to accommodate everyone in one house but this place was perfect! The house is huge and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Everyone spent most of the time in the wonderful pool to cool down from the crazy Texas heat. We loved the open kitchen so everyone could hang out around it while cooking. The game room was a huge hit with the kiddos. Communication on the check-in process was super simple. We would definitely book this property again.

This was the perfect home and setup for our party of 16 to celebrate my husband’s 50th. When first walking up to the front doors, the view through the back doors was breathtaking - I had no idea based on the pictures just how amazing the view would be. The home is spacious, the bedrooms and bathrooms have a great layout (amazing showers with multiple shower heads), and lots of space outdoors. We enjoyed coffee on the outdoor patio each morning, followed by some ping pong competitions, sports watching in the theater room, and card games at the large picnic table. We utilized the indoor and outdoor kitchen, which is well equipped with everything you would need. Our adult children enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, while a few of us dipped our feet in the pool - only one was brave enough to get in (just a bit chilly this time of year which was expected). The only downside was having to leave!

Good property for family reunion. Lots of bedrooms, great game space, hot tub and sauna were hits. We thought there might be hiking trails. Beautiful views. Please note The pool is NOT heated. Property is very nice; loved that it was 1 story since we had older parents that have a hard time climbing stairs. Everyone had their own private suite with in suite bathroom. Plenty of room too spread out. Liked the location easy to get to near by attractions.

Each July our family spends time together. It isn’t easy to keep 15 people (ages 1-71) happy and occupied, but Rim Rock is a wonderful place to do just that. The game room, workout area, pool, movie theater, beautiful view and nice house gave us many options for making memories together. This was our second stay and we highly recommend this property.
