Great location for all of us to gather. Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Peace and quiet but not too far from shopping and restaurants.

My daughter’s wedding was nearby at Ridge Pointe so this was the perfect place for the entire family to stay. The view of the water was beautiful and we enjoyed sipping coffee while watching the sun rise.

The location was perfect! Right on the lake. It was nice to go out and sit on the dock and watch the sunrise every morning. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and a teenager in the house. Lots of seating with the dining table, couches and the bar on the main floor. Down in the basement there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed playing pool and darts down there as well. Lots of lighting throughout the house and the air conditioning worked great in all levels. We stopped daily at the Cotton Patch gas station/convience store just a few minutes from the house. They had amazing and affordable food. The owner was very nice and responded very quick with any questions I had prior to my stay and during.

Nice, big house with plenty of views of Logan Martin Lake. We enjoyed the pool table and sunroom located downstairs and the deck upstairs. Very quiet cove and area of the lake. There are a few steps to get down to the dock/lake, but convenient for docking a 24' pontoon. Joel, the owner, was quick to respond to any questions and easy to work with during our stay.

Basement with pool table, dart board and tv was a hit.

This is a comfortable and roomy house with a nice dock and gazebo. We had a lot of rain and extremely high temps the week we were there but the pool table, dart board, and puzzles provided us with plenty to do.

This is a great house and even better access to the lake. It is a little dated, but everything worked as it was supposed to. Kitchen had great counters which is vital for a short term rental, and there were tons of chairs on the huge deck overlooking the lake. The ladders off the dock made getting into and out of the water super easy. My only complaint is the basement. Even with humidifiers on, the mildew smell left it almost inhabitable. This was the only reason for four stars vs five. The upper three bedrooms can easily sleep three couples, which our group was, but I wouldn't count on using the basement bedroom. The basement bathroom was fine to use, and after airing out the basement for an hour or so, the pool table was fun to use. The sun room off the basement is just fine. Very large with great seating and a fun table to play games on.
All in all, we really liked the house and wouldn't hesitate to stay at again.

I love the deck and how it sits in the trees with a view of the water. It is stunning at night with all of the stars. This is a quiet area of the lake and very peaceful. Tons of room inside. The inside is rustic but good for a lake cabin. The host was excellent at communicating.

Our family loved the proximity of this home to lake and the pool table which entertained all ages for hours. The host was very attentive and helpful before and during our stay. Thank you Joel.

Location is very relaxing. A bit of a drive to restaurants, but we stopped by Piggly Wiggly and used the fully stocked kitchen for most meals.

Great home for the value . Outside upkeep could use some work and a bit of a bug issue . Could have been just the time of year . Joel was a pleasure to deal with .

The location was perfect for our family get together. We love hanging out in the lake and this location was perfect! There isn't too much boat traffic and it was nice. We met the neighbors who were very nice. The major problem we had was getting down to the lake. There is no easy access to the dock/lake. You have to walk down lots of railroad ties for steps that are uneven, rotted out and the railing is very flimsy. The backyard has lots of trees, bushes and landscaping which made it difficult to enjoy the yard and sit by the lake. There were also alot of wasps by the dock where a boat is lifted up and it seems the wasps have quite a few nests inside the boat and in the light fixtures along the dock. We loved the location, the lake was great but with difficulty of getting down to the lake area we woullook for something with easier access so we can all enjoy the lake. The house is very spacious and has lots of room, the kids loved the pool table!

We had a wonderful time at the lake house! There is an abundance of room for everyone. We enjoyed spending our days on the dock and evenings on the back porch and in the game room. The views of the water are gorgeous! Pictures are a good representation of the property. Plenty of parking too. Joel was a great communicator.

It was a very nice property, it does need some updating and should be sprayed to limit the number of bee's, other than that it was very enjoyable & Joel was always available when we needed him.

The views from the deck and back of the house are amazing. Joel is very attentive and was ready to help us at any time. The boat dock had everything needed to dock our rented pontoon boat there and was a great place to fish.
If you are a millennial or younger, you will love this house. It is a charming mix of shabby-chic with a strong retro vibe. It’s large enough for an entire family, or several for that matter, to enjoy time together on the lake. The game room in the basement will be a favorite for kids of all ages.
However, if you are a baby boomer and prefer a comfortable place to stay, you might want to reconsider. 4 of us stayed here for 5 days, and all of us are over 65 (2 were over 80). The furniture was very uncomfortable for us and the beds were too low and hard to get out of. The patio had one table that wasn’t rusted out with damaged chairs. Those were OK and we enjoyed sitting outside when it wasn’t too hot.
Access to the dock is great for younger guests, but not for anyone with any mobility issues. There are no traditional stairs; there are railroad ties dug in the hillside to create steps, although several are rotted out and difficult for an older person to navigate. There are no handrails on the longer set of steps, but the shorter set does have good handrails. But then, there is a sizable hike down the rest of the hill over grass with exposed roots that can be difficult for an older person.
As for the decor, if you’re into shabby-chic/ retro, you’ll love it. For us baby boomers it was a blast from the past, it was just shabby. It reminded us of why we worked hard all those years to earn enough money so we’d never have to live with harvest gold, mustard yellow and aging shiny gold faucets and fixtures that were rusted in many areas. The bedspreads were stained and some of the furniture was very dusty, but other than that it was clean.
The kitchen had a very eclectic mix of low-quality utensils and cookware. It was so disorganized that we found it difficult to find anything, but for many people that would not be an issue. The electric can opener didn’t work so we were thankful to find a manual one. Even with the inconveniences and issues with not being able to regulate the water temperature in the showers, we had a nice time with our friends and enjoyed our time there.
