Situated in Logan Martin Lake, this attractive cottage for $247 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Charming 2bd/2ba cottage features open floor plan, hardwood floors throughout, gas starter fireplace, screened porch with uninterrupted views of lake, adjacent deck, fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, Kurig, microwave, toaster oven and chef’s utensils available), fresh interior paint, w/d in hall, private master with new bath featuring large walk-in shower,gorgeous interior with loads of charm, charcoal grill,outdoor fire pit, private lighted dock- ideal for fishing, swimming and docking boat during your stay. Flip flops and groceries are all you need for an enjoyable get away. We require a 2 night minimum stay and offer special event pricing rates for Talladega Motor Speedway race, holidays ($179-189 night) and short term leases. Our home is a 10-12 minute drive to speedway. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Birmingham/ airport and 18 minutes from Pell City. We recommend River’s Edge Marina and Poorhouse Branch Marina for boat rentals or you may bring your own, launch nearby and dock at the cottage during your stay. This was our first time ever staying at a lake house because we live on the coast. I was a little unsure, but once we got there, it was so tranquil and so perfect. The house was quaint and comfortable. I love the layout, and the views were incredible. we swam off the dock with floats and also brought our boat. It was a little bit of a trip to put the boat in the water and drive it back but once we did, we just left it tied to the dock. Once we got there, we never left for three days and nights. Cooking was not a problem and we had everything that we needed. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Mo’ Fun Cottage! The views and access to the lake are everything. We savored the magical sunsets, peaceful morning fishing (and reading) from the dock and that screened in porch. We had a few little issues while there and Susie was both quick and kind to remedy those for us. She was great at communicating all the needed details and taking good care of us. We’ll treasure our stay here forever!

Very quaint and relaxing. Beautiful views! Quiet neighborhood! The cabin is set up perfectly and nothing is missing except your food. I love that everything is available in the cabin! It’s really quite perfect.

The cabin is placed right on the lake with a nice pier to fish. The bedrooms are nicely appointed with two baths fireplace also with a nice family sized table. No TV or Wi-Fi but we play games and finished so it was nice

We were in the area for a wedding; booked this house for the stay. Luckily the wedding venue was located just 1.6 miles away! We had a wonderful stay. The first day was beautiful weather for sitting on the porch and seeing the fall leaves and lake. The second day a windy cold front came thru, but we lite the fireplace and sat by the fire and again admired the view. This is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing place to unwind and get away from the noise. Loved it! If we are ever back that way in Alabama will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place with us.

The pictures don't do it justice and it is a gem of a property. We didn't miss the TV or WiFi at all ( 4G LTE no problem). The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, the bathrooms are clean and plenty of towels at hand. The bedrooms and general furnishings are eclectic and curated with love and a keen eye. Games galore, a large dining table for a big crowd and a general sense of peace and tranquility. I can only recommend Susan's gem of a cabin for anyone looking. It is 25 minutes to CMP and 30 minutes to the Speedway. The evenings on the porch are conducive to conversation. There were little to no neighbors around during our October stay and the only encounters were with a fisherman or two in the early mornings. Highly recommend if you are seeking a peaceful spot with just the right homey touches tastefully done.

The porch is perfect for morning coffee and nighttime reading and relaxing. Even the kiddo loved the house. The dock is in great condition. Being off the main channels made it a fun and safe place to swim.

This is the place to be if your focus is on the lake. The home was cozy and comfortable. We spend hours on the screened porch and the dock simply enjoying the water. There is no need for Wifi or cable. The rest of the our stay was filled with reading, playing cards and games, and cooking meals in the kitchen. This house had everything we needed to simply relax and be together. I felt myself truly relax within an hour of arriving. Suzie was quick to respond to any question or needs. And very kind as well. I cannot wait to return.

We stayed at this cottage while we attended the Talladega race weekend. The view of the lake is breathtaking. The back screened in porch is decorated so cute you just want to spend the entire time sitting out there. The downfall was that it was covered thick with pollen and would have been nice to have that cleaned up before our arrival, we made it work. Huge dock if you have a boat or I believe there is a place to rent them nearby. The bedrooms are so cute and cozy. It's a cabin vibe for sure, reminded us of the lake we use to go to as kids. You in the middle of nowhere with peace and tranquility it's like your own private lake. Adorable. Susie was super responsive. My only disappointment was the kitchen the stove/oven needs to be replaced very old and dirty, no strainer/colander to drain water or clean veggies etc that I could find and we also could not find the gas grill. I rented this instead of a hotel as I needed to be able to cook my son his own food as he can only eat certain things. Also wish the beautiful back porch was cleaned before arrival. Otherwise this is a must stay vacay if you are in the area. Henny Penny the onsite chicken was also very friendly and cute.

This was our third time staying at the cottage. I absolutely love the no tv and internet. Such beautiful scenery to enjoy. We would sit around and play games in the evening after we spent most of the day fishing. Such a relaxing place to stay!! We will be back!!!!
