We are a family of 4 adults and were looking for a completely relaxing vacation. We found it at Casa Amigos de Corazon! What did we like about the HOUSE? The OCEAN VIEW! The SPACIOUSNESS! The POOL! The upstairs OPEN AIR OUTDOOR AREA! The NEIGHBORHOOD! The SECURITY! Able to WALK to TOWN! Easy to GRAB a TAXI at resort next door! Access to a WASHER & DRYER! Those are just a few of our favorite things! The TRUE GEMS of Casa Amigos de Corazon are TARA & LUIZ, the property managers! They were friendly, informative and fun to be around!! They had INCREDIBLE restaurant recommendations! They set us up on a FANTASTIC snorkeling excursion in Cozumel! They set us up with Marianna & Arturo, FANTASTIC CHEFS! They offer a grocery service so your house can be stocked with groceries when you arrive! They attentively answered each and every question we had! One of the things I noticed as we walked the neighborhood, which you should do to see all the cool houses, was that Casa de Amigos de Corazon is unique in that it truly has a BEAUTIFUL beach view. There were many homes available for rent, but very few that offered an unobstructed view of the ocean as well as a 20-30 second walk to the ocean, barefooted!! The home is situated on a dead-end street with no traffic except the security personnel that drive by constantly. Unless of course you hire the Chefs recommended by Tara & Luis! They park there to come in and treat you to an amazing culinary experience! We had them prepare 2 dinners and 1 lunch for us. It was such a treat! They even made a special Dos Leche birthday cake for my husband’s birthday at no additional cost! YUMMY!! All of us noticed that the people of Playa del Carmen are thoughtful, kind, & friendly. It was such a pleasure to interact with and learn about them. We left relaxed and so sad to leave! Seriously, book this place and start packing!

We couldn’t have asked for better. Tara and Luis made sure we had everything we needed, Elisa kept us organized, and we felt perfectly safe and at home. Would love to come back again!

My friends and I recently stayed at Casa Amigos to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't ask for a better vacation. The house is located in a private gated subdivision which includes a mixture of residential homes, condo's and other rental properties, and is at the end of the street which lends for more privacy. Although it is not directly "on" the beach, it is only a few steps away and has an unobstructed view of the beautiful white sandy beach and turquoise waters. The pool was also nice to relax by. There were 3BR's on the 1st floor and the master suite on the 2nd which included a wrap around patio complete with bbq grill and patio furniture. The kitchen was well equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, and other necessities which allowed us to prepare breakfast and lunches. There was even a welcoming basket of fruits & vegetables. There was also an abundance of beach towels and extra linens. The house was clean and spacious. Tara & Luis were absolutely AMAZING! From the time we booked the house until the day we left, they were there to meet our every need. Unfortunately we had some issues with 1 of the a/c units, but Tara & Luis rushed over each time to help resolve it. I strongly suggest purchasing the insurance for any incidentals as we ended up using it to cover a pool chair that broke when my dear friend casually sat on it while waiting to go to dinner. The one negative for our group, which may not be a problem for others, is that we were constantly worrying about going over the allotted 100KW of electricity. Although we understand conservation, it was hard to always be mindful to turn a/c's on&off especially in warmer temperatures. On the last full day of our trip, we were forced to stay inside the house majority of the day because there were trucks loading dozens of bags of sargasso/seaweed from the locals cleaning the beach and the smell was absolutely unbearable. We even asked the hotel next door if they could kindly wash off the liquid remnants from the street. It was terrible and so that day we couldn't even open windows/doors and had to run the a/c. Besides that, I strongly suggest booking this house for your next vacation. You will love it and Tara & Luis were outstanding and attentive every step of the way. Forgot to mention, security passed by every hour if not more to make sure everything was in order & safe. I will definitely contact them for any future trips to that area. Worked very well for six adults. Managers Luis and Tara were attentive but not overbearing. We did not cook as we used the facilities of Fisherman next door. Lots of restaurants in town. Would easily recommend.

We can't say enough about Amigos de Corazon. Our experience from working with the owners and their property managers Tara & Louis were second to none. We have rented vacation properties multiple time and have never experienced service like this. We were a party of 9 ( 6 adults 3 teenagers) the Casa had plenty of room for all of us. It's a great location and we always felt safe. The security guards go by on a regular basis day and night, The rooftop terrace was a added bonus with the bbq and view. We had a few issues but they were taken care of immediately. Tara and Louis were always available to answer any questions and stopped by on a regular basis to make sure everything was ok. We highly recommend vacationing at Casa Amigos de Corazon and hope to return in the very near future.

The home is beautiful, exactly the way it is in the pictures. Great location, quiet and with an open stretch of beach right in front. There are many beautiful details throughout the home. The managers, Tara and Luis, are fantastic. They are ready to help with any problem. Our TV did not work and they immediately came to fix it. Their suggestions for food, activitites and transport were always perfect. We had a fabulous time. There were eight of us, 4 couples, and the house was perfect. Enough private and common areas for all. Thank you!

Great beach house, exactly as pictured and described. Very responsive management team, proactive and always helpful. We were 8 adults and one eight-year old grandchild, the house was perfectly equipped for all. The refrigerator never worked well, despite management's quick intervention. It was never able to make ice. Needs major maintenance or replacement. Water tap screens should be cleaned before rentals to ensure good water flow in the high water calcium environment. Finally, we would rent the house again. Thanks for providing us a place for a wonderful family reunion.

This place is a gem. The house has a wide open view to the ocean and beach with a quiet dead-end road in front. We had 9 people, including 3 children ages 7 and under and house was perfect, very clean and well maintained with lots of space. It has a well-equipped kitchen and other items such as pack 'n play, pool chairs, beach toys and beach towels. We spent most of our time in the pool or on the beach, but loved that we could walk into town for some shopping or extra groceries. And the managers, Tara and Luis, were so helpful both before we got there and after we arrived, checking in regularly to see if all was well. We pre-ordered groceries through them so when we arrived with little kids we had essentials. Also we had incredible, delicious chef-prepared dinners on several nights with Mariana and Arturo (onsitepersonalchef), which Tara had recommended and which we highly recommend! The security team in the community are very visible and drive through the cul-de-sac almost every half hour. There are snorkeling excursion boats down the beach which we used also. Just perfect place for our family vacation. Thanks to the owner and managers and chefs for making it so great.

Everything was perfect!!!! House was so comfortable and perfect location. Tara and Louis were awesome very attentive to all of our needs!!! We can’t wait to go back.

Loved this wonderful property. Pictures do not do it justice. would highly recommend. Host was wonderful, did an excellent job, had a minor light issue and was immediately fixed. Recommended an in house Chef that was absolutely amazing, so great we booked her for a second night. the property was comfortable for our 4 adults and 5 young adults. great access to 5th ave. in a very secure environment. with Views that are amazing. Air-conditioning was great! Stayed the week of Feb 13-21 and the weather was perfect! You cant go wrong booking this property!

I'm picky, but not into perfection. I didn't look for things to complain about, but I also never found any. The location and beach are wonderful. You can catch a cab next door easily, if you don't want to walk into the center of Playa. I spent about 2 minutes in the living room, it was nice, but outside on the patio and pool area are heavenly. Each bedroom was roomy and comfortable. Kitchen seemed very nice, although we didn't do much cooking outside of some eggs in the late mornings. The extras that made it a place I want to revisit: welcome basket with bread and some fruit, nice big stack of good beach towels & a ton of sunscreen products, every thing you might need to really hang out on the beach, the outstanding view and sound of the surf. The manager was stellar! She checked in on us & made me feel like if there had been any kind of problem, she & her husband would have done everything they could to fix it. You do NOT find that everywhere, so it was a bonus and gave us an added layer of relaxation. Hope to rent again in the future!

I and 8 of my friends spent a week at Casa Amigos and had the time of our lives. Everything was near perfect. Tara was especially attentive to our every need, going out of her way to ensure we felt at home. The house is amazing and perfect for an intimate group of friends. 8 is the perfect number of guests. I wouldnt advise more than 8 guests unless at least a few are children. The bedrooms are all comfy and roomy. The kitchen is perfect for cooking in. We splurged and invited a chef in for a few meals which was both delicious and luxurious. They shop, cook and clean. So wonderful. Just steps from the beach, we couldnt have been more pleased with our morning dives in the crystal clear water and evening walks. Skydivers land right in front of the house on the beach which is cool to watch. . Town is about a 15 minute walk from the house, though we spent most of our time enjoying the house. We had some issues with the AC's which were resolved completely and promptly. I don't have a single complaint about our stay. If you're thinking about renting Casa Amigos, go ahead and pull the trigger.

The vacation rental is wonderful! It is in a great location within walking distance from many restaurants and shops. It was great to have a pool and the ocean a few steps away. If you have a rental car, it is also easy to visit other nearby towns. We visited Tulum, Akumal, Puerto Morelos, and Cozumel, which are all fantastic places. Really cool snorkeling is Akumal. Thanks for keeping a nice clean, well maintained house for guests.

Fabulous home, location and service. The home was perfect for our family of 9 (6 adults/3 kids). Well-maintained with common space to share and plenty of privacy for a break. The pool, beach and ocean could not have been more perfect. And it was a nice walk into town (or the resort next door made it easy to grab a cab) if you wanted to be part of the action. Security personnel from the neighborhood were professional and on frequent patrol. Local house manager (Tara) was so responsive and helpful - arranging grocery delivery and transportation and providing lots of other helpful recommendations. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Cannot wait to plan a return trip!

Tara and Luis are the managers for this property. They can help you arrange EVERYTHING! From being picked up in an air conditioned van (we had 9 people) to buying the food for the house, to planning our tours, to helping us find a fishing boat where we caught 22 mackerel, you just can't beat their help. NEXT, the house is just AMAZING! You are right on the beach, air conditioning in EVERY room for each persons desired temperature. We used the kitchen almost every day, fully stocked with all the utensils one would need! The location of this property is perfect for everyone. The totally professional security on the property is quiet yet very protective and professional. We had total of 9 people like I said, and that was perfect for the size of the house. PERFECT PLACE TO VACATION!!!

Perfection. We loved every bit of our stay. The house was gorgeous, very clean and well maintained. We swam in the ocean and the pool every single day. The managers were SO AWESOME!!! Tara was so accommodating and checked in on us regularly to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Having the Fisherman's Village right next door made getting a taxi very easy and we were able to give that location out for excursions among other things. Very comfortable beds and AC units worked awesome, we all slept very well. I have no complaints and we will be back. Thank you for everything!!
