The historic La Rambla Loft, beautifully restored, offers you a unique lodging experience all within walking distance to all that downtown McMinnville has to offer. La Rambla Loft is in the historic Shilling Building built in 1884 originally the 'Boss Saloon'. The 2000 sf flat is located above La Rambla Restaurant. Fully renovated with teak floors, skylights and mahogany wood throughout featuring a king suite, queen bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 2 gas fireplaces and a great room complete with a gourmet kitchen, dining and living room. There is also a desk with WIFI located off the kitchen area. The great room includes a large open kitchen with island, bar and table seating with Wolf gas range and ovens. The kitchen comes complete with appliances, cookware, china and glassware. A natural food grocery is conveniently located across the street with juice bar. The dining area is furnished with mahogany table, 8 chairs and buffet cabinets. The living area is furnished with two sofas, ottomans and an 18' velvet cushioned window bench beneath four windows overlooking Third Street. The mahogany library wall includes a gas fireplace and 50' HDTV with HBO. The office area includes a desk, computer and free WIFI. The king suite is furnished with a deluxe king bed, luxurious linens and pillows. The suite includes a gas fireplace and 48' HDTV with HBO. Located within the suite is a tub, bidet and laundry with Egyptian cotton towels. The queen bedroom is furnished with a deluxe queen bed, luxury linens, pillows and HDTV with HBO. The bathroom is located outside the door with a large walk in travertine shower and Egyptian cotton towels. Room service provided by La Rambla Restaurant and Bar and the Gem Creole Saloon during lunch and dinner hours. I highly recommend this loft! The location was perfect! We visited wineries during the day and were then able to relax at night with an easy walk to dinner in downtown McMinnville. The loft was stunning, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We were a group of two couples, so the only callout is that the primary bedroom is a spacious, luxurious suite with an ensuite bathroom; the second bedroom is small, windowless, with no closet; the bathroom for the second bedroom was next door accessible via the main hallway. It worked fine for us given we were out and about a lot; it's not something that would deter us from staying here with another couple again.

Wow, from the minute we walked in we were impressed with the property. First off, it’s right downtown and walking distance to everything.
The living room, dining room, kitchen were so easy to relax and enjoy ourselves in. Very comfortable couches and chairs. Plenty of pans, plates, glassware to make meals. We made use of the fact we were above one of the best restaurants in town, La Rambla. We ordered and they delivered our meals to the condo. Let’s just say the Paella was out of this world! Having it with wines we purchased locally made it all the better.
The two bedrooms have super comfortable beds. The larger bedroom in the back had a fireplace and a double sink vanity.
We would rent again in a heartbeat.

This was an amazing experience. We have stayed in many places and are picky. Sometimes we like the properties that are clearly just rentals because they know what travelers need. However, this was a different t experience in all the best ways. Kitchen was gorgeous and stocked like you would expect at a friend’s house. Beds were so comfortable with lots of extra linens and towels available. You should note that the second bedroom has no windows but my adult daughter and her husband didn’t mind at all. Really felt like we were staying at a flat in Rome owned by the friends we wish we had!

We only stayed 2 nights but wish it was longer….the place was beautiful and so cozy and centrally located, right in town…. We walked to dinner both nights! but drove during day to our different activities…loved the wineries that we went too!!!!

Spacious loft that immediately feels like home, with so many thoughtful details. It’s well insulated in both sound and aromas from the La Rambla restaurant downstairs, and the night we ordered in, it felt like having a private chef at your doorstep. Perfect location for a wine tasting weekend with plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. We can’t wait to stay here again!!

Can't say enough how outstanding this VRBO is. It is beautiful, everything you will ever need is there. The furnishings are so comfortable and beautiful. AND it is right in the town over a fabulous restaurant that we went to twice during our stay. I would definitely recommend this rental and would rent it again. The host is responds immediately if you need anything.

This is a great apartment! Very unique and beautiful decor and central to everything. The only possible issue is for two couples traveling together like we were. The room accommodations are very different with one being faaaaaar better (one is an interior small room with a hall bathroom and one is a giant primary bedroom and bath). It was no big deal to us because we had a similar situation at our stay in Hood River and we just swapped who got the primary room. But we all could not stop commentating how beautiful and clean and comfortable the apartment is. It is not your typical rental and is decorated as a home. The food at the downstairs restaurant is superb.

The property was perfect for our stay. Amazing location, clean, all the amenities needed, and just a flat-out cool spot overlooking downtown McMinnville. I’d highly recommend to anyone exploring Oregon wine country.

We loved our stay here! It is directly above the La Rambla restaurant which makes for a great location in downtown McMinnville and a short walk to not only La Rambla but lots of great restaurants. The apartment itself is huge and has everything you’d need. We felt right at home! We were a little worried about noise at night but that was not an issue at all. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

The property is beautiful, clean and well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could want, and there is plenty of space for 2-3 couples to have a great time together and still spread out. The location is right in downtown, so you can walk to numerous great restaurants, shops and wine tasting rooms. We will definitely look to stay here again!

We just love this house. We have stayed here with friends 4 times, so it's perfect for 2 couples! The location is great, as well as the tapas restaurant downstairs. You can walk to shops, restaurants, the store & more. The house is beautifully decorated, the beds are super comfy & very clean. Kathleen has literally thought of everything, and is a great host if you need anything at all ( which we never do:) We will be back again next year for more great wine tasting, and hopefully many more years after that. No need to look around, this is the place. Trust me.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The loft is everything it claims to be. I love all of the European decor, and not a spec of dust to be found - it is immaculate! We loved walking around the perfect little town of McMinnville. Check in and parking was a breeze. I felt like we had the best place in town!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, large space. Furnishings were great and you can’t beat the location. Also, the delicious restaurant below delivered dinner right to our door. Communication from host was very good.

Kathy was extremely hospitable and let us drop our things at the unit before the official check-in time so our food and wine was not sitting in the car during the event. I understand that this might not always be possible, but it was truly an example of going above and beyond for guests.
Hard to believe, but things even got better from there! This unit is large, clean, spacious, and extremely well appointed. The unit even included bathrobes for guests, which is such a nice and thoughtful touch - one of my favorite amenities!

Great spot in the middle of downtown. Easy to walk to everything and the parking pass included was a plus! Well stocked kitchen and plenty of space for all guests.

This loft property is one of the best-appointed we've experienced. Everything you need for a home away from home stay. The host is very responsive, the beds comfortable, and the location downtown couldn't be better. Highly recommended!

The pics online don't do it justice at all. This place is just incredible. Situated in the heart of downtown McMinnville, you can walk everywhere and enjoy all that 3rd Street has to offer. I would stay here again and again. We can't wait to go back.

The “loft”is our favorite place to stay for short getaways. It’s very well appointed and extremely comfortable. And conveniently right above the best restaurant In McMinnville. We always enjoy the 3rd street shops and restaurants, the farmers market, and great wine.

Wonderful to be able to choose each moment whether to walk downtown, sit in the restaurant, enjoy wonderful food and wine in “your own” dining area, chat next to the gas fireplace, or enjoy the view of street life from the window seats. Nice collection of books and magazines to help plan a day in the vineyards if you arrive without an immediate plan, too. Lovely!

Walked up the stairs and had that jaw dropping, we get to stay here moment. Elegant, top of the line renovation. Chefs kitchen with 3 sizes of micro planes. The town is adorable even on a cold February day. Lots of great food and wine
