This home is perfect in every way; you will be delighted with the memories you will make during your stay. A romantic hideaway for a weekend getaway, a family vacation with the kids, or with a group of friends. A cozy, warm and down to earth place with the extras that make your getaway complete. >>>3 BR/2 BA. Sleeps 8. 1,800 square feet. NEWLY UPDATED in 2021!! Fire Pit with large seating area for your enjoyment! We recently completed our updating with a new king size bed in the master bedroom with new bedding and sheets, new queen size bed and new sheets and bedding in one guest bedroom, new LED flat screen TVs in the den and master bedroom, new sectional in the den, new towels in the bathrooms, new toaster oven and coffee maker in the kitchen, along with some new pots and pans and new silverware. We also have a new gas grill under the the covered portion of the deck. PLUS, we put new carpet in the bedrooms and new flooring in the master bath area! We know all of these updates will make your stay very enjoyable. >>>The kitchen is fully equipped for family meals or entertaining. Full eat-in kitchen, large den, fireplace, and separate sitting area. Kitchen has two full-size refrigerators, double ovens, smooth surface cook top stove, dishwasher, disposal, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender and cooking utensils. The den is huge with plenty of space for everyone. It has a sitting area by the windows overlooking the lake and another sitting area around the fireplace. Very large master bedroom has king size bed, his and her closets and a double-window over looking green space and lake. The Guest bedroom has a queen size bed, full-size closet, and a window. The Bunk room has two sets of solid wood bunk beds, full-size closet, and a window. Full bathroom with shower/tub combo is located in the hallway next to Guest bedroom and the Bunk room. >>>Laundry area with full-size washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board. >>>Direct TV satellite TV service! WiFi! Board games and books are also provided for your enjoyment. Totally relaxing. >>>Large wrap-around deck is partially covered. Gas Grill on deck. >>>Clean and beautiful inside and out! >>>Great truck and boat trailer parking! >>>Launch your boat for free at Cherokee Recreation Area or at Shiloh Park, Devils Fork Recreation Area, or Narrows Park. Very close to Shiloh Marina and Lacey’s Narrows Marina. You can pull up to the shore in front of the house for easy loading and unloading. The shore right in front of the house is a great spot to swim, float on a raft, paddle/fish around in a kayak or canoe, or sit under the famous (ok, not famous, but it is cool) mushroom shade tree by the water. You can fish in the lake in front of the cabin or ease back in to Budd Creek for some excellent fishing. Our cove is also a great place to teach kids how to water ski. The house is located in a secluded area just off the main bay of the lake. Bring plenty of food so you can grill on the deck or go to one of the many good restaurants nearby. The bedrooms smelled like a gym locker; rugs, bedding other than sheets had not been washed; ovens, neither frig and especially the gas grill need to be cleaned. The large frig leaks water, ice nor water is hooked up to it. The grill was not usable at all it was so nasty - even had food left on it.
The cabin has lots of close housing on both sides but the time of year was perfect so we didn't have noise and only one very quiet family in cabin next door new year's even night.
The cabin is lovely, kitchen is well stocked and easy access to the lake. Would stay again but ask host/owner to at least clean the grill if not everything else which was at least usable.

Wow! This place was beautiful! We booked for a weekend and all left wishing we had an extra day or two! The views and place itself was so cozy and relaxing. Coffee on the porch overlooking the lake and nighttime bonfires were top notch. The cabin was warm and inviting, and we enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen to cook our meals in. We all enjoyed being on the water and the views from the cabin were SPECTACULAR! We traveled with young kiddos and they had a blast! The cabin had plenty of room for all of us to sit and enjoy a game of cards and the kiddos to play on the floor. Even the dogs are thoroughly exhausted from such a good time! We are already planning our spring and fall trips to come back! Thank you for such a wonderful time and allowing us to stay at your beautiful place!

Superficially clean,but looking closer alot not clean.oven cleaned by me 2 cycles on self cleaning plus hand clean.blinds dirty.windows dirty.refigerator leaking water.cupboards dirty.my husband suffered from multiple bug bites from sleeping in king size bed.fleas or bedbugs?the cabin and location are nice.but not comfortable with the lack of cleaning.

Be advised the driveway is a little rough.

Quiet, peacful location, everything as advertised! If we come back to Greers Ferry we'll definitely try to stay at this cabin again. We found a road that dead ended in to the lake close to the cabin, was able to back our 20' pontoon boat into the lake unload as well as load up when we left, also we were able to tie up our boat right behind the cabin in the cove, great location!

The driveway needs a little work but other then that everything was really nice out and walking into the cabin was awesome great views of the lake and sun setting inside the cabin all the bed are really soft the inside needed to be cleaned alittle bit from maybe not having someone staying there dust on lights and hair in bath tubs we differently will be back in the summer

The house is out of the way, but we like that about it. There are two other houses in very close proximity, but we were there in December, so we were the only people in the area really. I imagine during the height of summer, one would have neighbors. The house was beautiful and nicely furnished. The master bed was VERY comfortable, something you don’t always get in a rental. I didn’t try the other beds but the kids didn’t offer any complaints. The water for the main refrigerator was not hooked up, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. We just bought bottled water. The owner was responsive and helpful. We had a great time and we’re thrilled that we could take our dogs with us. My husband was already talking about our next trip before we even left. Thanks for the great stay!

I loved this cabin very much. Perfect scenery and distance to either town of Greers Ferry [16min] or Herber Springs [30min] the cabin neighborhood is secluded but there are 2 cabins on either side which are close, luckily they are typically not occupied and I'm sure the people are fine. Everything you need is in the cabin except food. You can find the widest variety at Walmart in Herber Springs (they do have curbside) . When you turn in do not go straight down near the house if you don't have a 4x4 off road vehicle. I almost got stuck but luckily was able to manuever myself out. Just stay on the traffic circle and you will be fine 🙂 it's super dark at night so be careful if you do find yourself out at night.

Very much enjoyed our stay! It was a cold weekend but the cabin was very comfortable and everything was as reported in the listing. There are several nearby cabins but but no one was staying in any of them and it was like we had that part of the lake to ourselves. We do look forward to coming back and will definitely return to this cabin!

This was our second time staying at this great cabin. Sitting on the porch and listening to the water and nature all around is wonderful and relaxing. The house is always beautiful and clean and our family really enjoyed being so close to the lake. We will be returning here to enjoy the tranquility this place can provide. A+

This is now my most favorite place! The setting is serene and quiet. The pictures are extremely accurate - save the one of the firepit that doesn't show the lovely red adirondack chairs around it. Sitting on the deck made me feel like I was in the tree tops. The tree by the lake is a really picturesque location for reading. The cabin is well maintained and well furnished. I always try to give property owners feedback on any improvements that could be made and I couldn't find anything!! It's perfect just the way it is! Thank you for the opportunity!

Our family really enjoyed this lovely place. It was an easy walk on a path to the water. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware! We Enjoyed the fire pit and grill too. Spacious and easy to fit everyone in for family time.

The property location was perfect for what we were looking for. Its very peaceful and has plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable. The cabin was very cozy, but spacious. All the bedrooms had large closets and places to unpack your things and make yourself at home away from home. The kitchen was large and included a lot of kitchenware and cooking supplies to use if needed. The outdoor space was really nice too. Huge deck with furniture to sit and enjoy the view. The fire pit area was inviting and exactly as pictured although we were not able go use it this time due to the burn ban at the time of our visit. If you like to fish or kayak, this is a perfect fit. There is a trail behind the cabin that leads to a calm portion of the lake.

Perfect
The cabin was beautiful and the view was fabulous. The best part was the path to the water. That path led us to more fun, jumping from mini cliffs, swimming and basically fun!! We enjoyed Greers Ferry- first time there and did not disappoint! Can’t wait to come back.
