Nestled in Wild Dunes, this charming house for $892 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. 31 Marsh Island Lane is located on an island surrounded by marsh land and wild life. The view is 180 degrees of marsh land including the Atlantic Inland Waterway. Marsh Island is in the gated resort community of Wild Dunes which is located on Isle of Palms, 20 minutes from Historic Charleston, SC, voted as a top US City for numerous years. 31 Marsh Island was completely remodeled in 2014 with a Chef’s Kitchen including a five burner Viking stove and other Viking appliances, hardwood floors throughout, three spacious bedrooms and three updated bathrooms, “heavenly bed” mattresses, new deck railing to enhance views, a dual HVAC system, sauna, wood burning fireplace and custom décor, including custom Daisy Berry Linens. There’s also a sunroom with panoramic views and a hammock within a screened porch, plus a sauna! This home is ideal for those wanting to relax and reinvigorate! Ask about our return renter discount!!! ***As of 2022, Wild Dunes has decided not to allow guests of non-Wild Dunes Rental Company to use the community pools and fitness center that the owners would purchase access for through the sports card. Our guests will still be able to access the tennis courts, pickle ball courts and book tee times at either of the golf courses. We choose to privately manage our home due to the personal attention we can give our renters as well as to the personal amenities we have included in the home. Our family (mom, dad, 3 brother's and sister) all 45+ ages needed a place for a long overdue reconnect weekend. The setting is like something described in a Pat Conroy novel, and really set a perfect scene for all of us to spend time together and just talk and catch up. We absolutely recommend this home, its set apart from the rest of the resort , quiet, and has a 180 view of the marsh landscape. We spent most of our 3 days on the porch , it was perfect.

This home is situated with 180 degree views of the marsh. We enjoyed watching beautiful birds, interesting cloud formations and even a double rainbow! The house is comfortable and very well stocked. The sunroom and decks are perfect spots for morning coffee or cocktails. Access to the oceanfront Beach House and its bathrooms and shelter is delightful. The only thing that would make this place perfect would be to repair the tires on the advertised bicyles . I will be returning!

For us the only down side was steps....lots and lots of steps. About 8-10 alone to gain entry. But, that is a
personal concern. My knees are bad, so be advised if you have knee or back problems this is not the property for you.

Great place for a family vacation. Deck is great. Comfortable beds and good amenities. The owner went out of her way to make our stay comfortable, arranged a golf cart for us to use in place of their cart. Easy ride to the beach!

We are group of three couples who come annually for the ladies pro tennis tournament in early April. This is our second year staying at Marsh Mellow. We love the location, the expansive, beautiful marsh views (especially at sunrise) and the well-maintained, well-stocked home. Especially good for three couples because each bedroom has its own bath. The property manager is very engaged and helpful. The house is also beautifully decorated and does not feel like a rental. Highly recommend!

I believe this was our 4th or 5th time staying here, I have lost track but after this trip, it remains one of our favorite VRBO destinations that we visit.
As fellow VRBO owners and operators there is so much we love and appreciate about this home - so many thoughtful touches that make it stand out.
As always, the golf cart and private beach access is convenient and easy and one of the best aspects of this home. And the layout, so comfortable and inviting, with the phenomenal kitchen, allows you to maximize time with family, relaxing and making memories.
We will be back again, we are big fans of 31 Marsh Island Lane.

5 friends and I stayed at the home over the weekend as we were in town for another friend's wedding in Charleston. The home was exactly as pictured - it was beautiful inside and had a tremendous view of the marsh off the deck. While we weren't out on the town, we found it incredibly relaxing to sit on the back deck and enjoy the calm ocean air. We also were able to easily make the half mile walk to the beach to enjoy the ocean on Saturday morning which was wonderful.
The communication with the home owner and her assistant was super easy and we felt like we were in terrific hands the whole weekend. There was a clear protocol for the entrance and exit of the property and we really appreciated the amazing hospitality. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is thinking about staying in Isle Of Palms, SC - one of the more beautiful southern areas I have ever been to.

This home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and the marsh. The marsh views are beautiful, especially from the 2nd floor porch. The home is beautiful and stocked nicely, you don't need to bring anything except your clothes. We had a wonderful weekend and hope to stay in this home again!

We totally enjoyed the visit. Everything we needed was available to us. The TV was a little tricky but we finally caught on to the technicalities. One major difficulty was absence of cold water in kitchen sink. More than likely the water filter is clogged. A new filter is needed according to our son who is a building contractor in Marietta. A minor concern is lack of laundry hampers in closets despite their mention in the departure checklist

2nd year in a row we’ve stayed, and we will stay again. Only thing that I think could improve is the foliage. Since last year it’s grown 5-10 feet and blocks a good portion of that beautiful marsh now. It needs to be cut back.

Serene and gorgeous view
Marsh Mellow was clean, well appointed and had two levels of balconies with breathtaking marsh views. The golf cart brought a whole new level of fun and convenience making the location a few minute jaunt from the beach. Watching the wildlife and thunderstorm roll in Over the marsh was spectacular. Highly recommend. We do not watch much television but if that is a priority, the seating is oddly arranged to watch, otherwise excellent getaway space!

Also, this owner thought of everything.... there were beach towels, soaps and shampoo's, a fully functional kitchen, filtered water, extra blankets, box fans if you need extra air flow, hair dryers. Next time I stay here I will be able to pack less now that I know ALL that is there. The owner was friendly and super quick to respond to any question or concern.

Gorgeous Marsh Views
This home was perfect for a group of three adult couples. Very clean and well maintained and the panoramic views from picture windows and multiple decks were lovely. If you have a clear night, the stars are wonderful too. Kitchen is well equipped, bed very comfortable. We were off at an event most of the time but the time we did spend at this home was very pleasant!

Thoughtful and thorough
Great location, clean home, well appointed with everything you need for a memorable stay, including wood burning fireplace (we needed it for two unusually cold nights), a golf cart, and very comfortable beds. The owner was very communicative, thoughtful and extremely thorough. Our only negative was our confusion regarding what we thought would be an actual king bed, but ended up being two twins pushed together. Otherwise, everything exceeded our high expectations and we'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful view
Property was perfect. Very well provisioned home. The view was spectacular. We had great sunsets and extremely relaxing evenings on the deck. Watched dolphins feeding in the marsh from the upper deck. Will definitely be back.
