This little cottage may look small but WOW. What a beautiful place to relax for a spell. My wife and I could not of been happier. The owner is on site if there are any issues. We had none. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, chocolates and a bottle of wine. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The surrounding area is just beautiful. And they allowed me to bring my dog, huge plus for me. Want to say Thank you to Nick for the opportunity to stay there.

Oh gosh, this is our third lengthy visit and it is a treasured place. Our hosts, Nick and Joe are so hospitable and our welcome gifts of wine, flowers, luxe chocolates and roasted nuts are perfect after a long trip.
The cottage is awesome and the kitchen has all the basics. The view! There are no words. Just soak up the beauty of Lake Michigan from your chairs around the fire pit and grill a steak on the Weber grill.
We plan to return.

This very unique cottage is a great place to stay for easy access to all that Charlevoix and Petoskey have to offer. The cottage is very unique and has great views of Lake Michigan. Downtown Charlevoix is 5 minutes away, and Fisherman’s Island state park is less than 15 minutes away. Nick was an excellent host and even left snacks, wine, and flowers. A+, would stay again!

The field stone Earl Young cottage was absolutely as charming as the picture depicts! The grounds were well maintained and the view out across Lake Michigan is breathtaking.
If looking for a relaxing stay apart from the normal regimented schedule of work, this location & cottage will provide nourishment for your body, mind, and soul.
I hope to return next year!

This wonderfully located and well maintained mushroom cottage was a true gem to stay at. A short distance from downtown made the location convenient to get to restaurants and shops. The landscape view of the lake made for a nice touch while entering and existing the house.

The moment you walked in the door you knew you were stepping back in time. The cottage is adjacent to the big house and has a fabulous view of Lake Michigan. The owners Nick and Joe were very easy to talk to and they left Lindor chocolates, wine and flowers, how classy is that? We also had breakfast at My Grandmothers Table the breakfast was delicious also, this restaurant is owned by Nick and Joe! There is the Mushroom House Tours by Edith, we have been on this tour 5 times and we have learned so much every time, the cottage in on the tour. We had a great week at the cottage and is close to downtown Charlevoix so you can shop and eat! What more can you ask for except for the draw bridge where you can see the tall boats go into Pine River and out to Lake Michigan. Thanks again Nick and Joe!

This is an adorable historic stone cottage on a beautiful property with a great view of Lake Michigan. Perfect for two, with a nice bedroom, cute living room, very functional kitchen, a bath and a half, and a gas firepit. Owner provided special touches. Unique, fun experience in a town loaded with fun.

A great stay at a fun property with a incredible view of Lake Michigan. Great location. Everything was as advertised and we received a warm welcome arriving to a nice setting of chocolates, wine and fresh flowers. The inside was just as historic as the outside. Only negatives were it could have been just a bit cleaner and some minor maintenance items. Definitely would stay there again. Very short drive into the town and surrounding activities.

A lovely property with beautiful views and wonderful history. My visit, unfortunately, coincided with the hatching of Mayflies so that made it too buggy to be outside but the views were still lovely inside. Hosts set out a thoughtful gift of wine and chocolate upon arrival.
