About this house rental
Located in Washington, this charming house for $609 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Saint George theme multi-color painted and furnished home. Three car garage and extra outdoor on property parking for boat or RV. Newly landscaped front and back yard. Heated pool to about 85 degrees, hot tub, and on property splash pad. Splash Pad has been recently resurfaced and looks fantastic! Master bedroom/bath is over sized room with king bed, vaulted ceiling, 52 inch HD flat screen TV, 2 headed walk-in shower, jetted tub, 2 sinks/mirrors. Guest room has king bed, large pop out area(perfect for travel crib), vaulted ceiling, full bathroom with a shower and smaller walk-in closet. Two other bedrooms with queen beds. Fifth bedroom with queen sofa sleeper and 50' TV for movies and gaming systems. All bedrooms have very comfortable new mattresses(even the lazy boy sofa sleeper) and ceiling fans. Full Kitchen with new fridge, granite counter tops, large separate dining area seats 8, 5 bar seats, granite counter tops with center bar, 2 sinks, and two ovens, one convectional the other gas. Living room doubles as a newly installed surround sound theater room. 60 in HD flat screen TV. Over sized conversation couch and 2 recliners. We do everything possible to make our home covid free before your arrival by following all guidelines. But due to this current pandemic and it's highly contagious nature we can not guarantee that your stay will not be without risk. We booked last minute while driving down to Texas to visit family. This was a great place to hang out for a few days and let the kids enjoy the pool! Fast communication with owners. Would definitely come here again.

We had a great week in this home. We tried to leave winter behind and enjoy some sun and pool time. Unfortunately the endless Utah winter continued, but this house did not disappoint. They had the pool heated to 85 and we were able to play every day even though it was only between 42 and 60 degrees the whole week. And the hot tub was lovely for warming up and watching the tougher family members still playing in the pool : ). The home is in a very nice quiet neighborhood with walking trails close by. The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Maybe bring some extra pool towels if you are coming with more than a few people (they said this in the instructions and I missed it, but we were fine with what they had available). Check in and out was super easy and they were very fast to respond the one time I had a question. We definitely want to come back again in the future.

A couple quick calls to very responsive hosts corrected any clarifications on their written instructions and small fixes. Simple as resetting a GFI outlet by pushing a button. All TV-Streaming entertainment worked very well if you follow the detailed instructions. Golf at the nearby Green Spring course was also a great. Beautiful course. Walking and running trails for daily exercise. Close to any type of fast food, movies and shopping. We will be back!

VRBO customers of over 15 years, we feared the unusually negative reviews of this property. But if we squinted our eyes just right (no pun intended, Paul), we could believe that the hosts were doing their best in the face of unusually bad guests. We took a risk because we wanted a pool to escape the height of the pandemic with our children.
Our stay was mostly fine. The pool cover was broken but the hosts had let us know beforehand and had crews trying to fix it during our stay. There were other problems but the hosts were reassuring and attentive and communicated with us well. We departed energized by the beautiful Southern Utah weather and left the property cleaner than we found it which is an important value to us.
After our stay we learned that the hosts assessed the maximum claimable damages (see VRBO terms if you’re curious) to their property for:
1. Damage to their pool cover.
2. Hiring professional movers.
3. Repairing their washer/dryer and smoke detectors.
We complained to the hosts and VRBO but neither responded. We supposed we would be protected by an intermediary in the case of apparent fraud but have been disappointed.
Our response:
1. The hosts’ pool cover was broken before our arrival. They knew this because they notified us. We inspected its repair carefully and obtained clearance from the host before ever trying to operate it with the remote touchpad control. We never abused or even touched the pool cover.
2. Multiple tall guests bumped their heads on a low hanging chandelier in the dining room. To mitigate this undisclosed hazard the dining table was moved (by a 70 year old man!!) about 2 feet to be centered directly beneath the chandelier. This in no way constituted a legitimate necessity to hire professional movers.
3.(?!) The washer and dryer were nice and worked well during our stay. Maybe cleaners ran an unbalanced load of towels after we left and the dryer walked out of its connection to the exhaust vent? We have no idea.
The hosts may have relied on bad information from management or staff on items 2 and 3, but we are convinced that they could not possibly have made claim 1 in good faith. They had personal knowledge of the damaged pool cover before our arrival. We have retained the voicemail message. Small claims would be our next line of recourse but seems too burdensome. Run, don’t walk, away from these hosts.

The property was ready at check in time. Nice size rooms, comfortable beds, pillows. The pool was perfect. Adults and kids had a fun time at the house as well as around the St. George area. Nice to have a microwave and two ovens for cooking personal pizzas for 12 hungry people.

We did hear quite a bit of traffic behind the house, due to a main street that is directly in the back. You can drown out that traffic noise, by turning on the slide or jets. Bottom line: it was worth the stay for the price.

Planned this trip for us and our daughters family. The house and backyard pool was wonderful.; where we spent most of our time. This is the first time renting for me where the home owners actually took pride in their property and are great to correspond with their guests to answer questions. I would definitely rent from them again.

Overall satisfactory,. clean other than needs a a lot of dusting, hot tub gave a rash to the legs, so something is wrong in the water........needs attention. Also unable to use pool as they share water. Host offered to send pool company two days after the incident.

Chose this property for the location in Southern Utah and we wanted a house with a pool. The property was just as described and close to shopping and other outdoor activities. We mostly just stayed at the house and swam. Would recommend for anyone looking for a great location in Souhern Utah

The rental was not sparkling clean, just small stuff (owner was made aware and was willing to send someone but we declined).
AC did not work well on one portion of the house (owner also made aware and sent someone out next day). I am still not sure it was working correctly as we had to keep setting it at 74 on the north side of the house.
The pool was AMAZING, we had a blast with the slide and our kids swam as much as they could.
The location is far enough out of town to not be busy but close enough if you want to shop or dine out.

This place was excellent. The pool and hot tub were nice. The pool was a must have considering it was 110 the whole week. It could have slept 5 couples easily. We only had my wife and I plus or three little kids so we had more than enough space

Backyard Pool and Amenities Make the Difference!
This upscale neighborhood is located convenient to everything and is the second vacation house we have rented on this street! A beautiful home, great for families and especially those with smaller children. Two masters with en suite bathrooms on one end and two queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom on the other end of the house provide separation and privacy. Beds are comfortable and plenty of pillows and blankets are also available. The 1/2 bath is a great convenience as well. The 5th bedroom in the middle of the house is a fantastic TV/playroom for kids and can also serve as a bedroom with a pull-out sleeper sofa and several portable mattress options available. The kitchen is stocked beautifully with everything needed to cook delicious meals and the walk-in pantry is convenient for additional storage. We LOVED the pool/hot tub and the patio area; it's where we spent the majority of our time. Note: The large pool is about 3 1/2 feet deep on either end with a slightly deeper section in the middle for those using the sturdy slide and our young children (4 and 7) felt safe with lots of room to improve their swimming skills. . We loved the outdoor dining table, the misters, the waterfall and the pool and garden lights. The absence of a barbecue grill is unfortunate, but three ovens inside (convection, gas and microwave) are nice alternatives. Owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. We respectfully offer our suggestion to maximize future rental experiences:
1. More white bath towels. (2 for each person in the rental party)
2. A garage door opener to use when leaving the property. Charge a hefty fee for those lost or not returned.
3. The two overhead lights above the outside dining table need to be replaced. (Or maybe we couldn't find the switch. :))
My family is already asking if we can return to this great house for our summer getaway next year. Overall, a fantastic property!

We had a great stay. The house is located only a couple of miles off the I-15 making it easy to hop around the St. George area. We rode several MTB trails, leaving from the house (only downside is that what looks like a fun area for kids on bikes behind the house is actually a large sandy hills filled with ATV'esque trails, don't plan on using you MTB there). That said Thera are several paths to get you over to Prospector, Dino Cliffs, Grapevine, Church Rocks and the Middleton Powerline isn't too sandy. There's a great park only a few blocks away. The pool was magical, shallow on either end for kids, and deeper in the middle to safely use the waterslide. The hot tub would heat up in ~30minutes making it great for evening use. The house was spacious and the garage accommodated all of our bikes easily. Great hosts, really responsive. Thanks for letting us stay!
